Clean apartment with good facilities and helpful staff, but the painting of the walls of the unit has been done perfunctory and the painting of the kitchen and bath cabinets are unfinished. They show visitors a search room with a printer which later you'll notice they know that it has problem and doesn't work. Also there is a coffee machine which is supposed to serv coffee to residents every day which is filled with coffee once in a month so at the end week of the month it finishes and there is no more coffee till next month.

I just moved in but so far it's been great. Staff is super kind and helpful. The only complaint I have for now is that the AC fans are pretty weak, so they don't help much with cooling down.

The building is decent and reasonably priced, however management treat residents with utter contempt, which often verges on outright rudeness. There are also continuing problems with heat, air conditioning and hot water.

In my current stay if about 5 months, I have encountered paying over 1,000 dollars in my car getting towed. Tiny little neighbors that we can all call mice, and recurring days where my hot water is not working. They renovated the apartments but not the building know the difference. I have days where my clothing has has paint on it from the apartments not being polished with paint. The best part would be having access to the stores downstairs, which do close by time you get off from work if you’re 9-5, and having access to the gym.

Major building systems (heat , AC, hot water) fail frequently and communication from the office is terrible, and frequently rude. The building just cares about cosmetic updates, instead of fixing major issues with the building.

So far it’s been a true struggle and sadly I don’t think I’ll be here longer than my current lease. From the broken ac units, to the slow elevators. The theft problem regarding stolen mail and cars, yes cars are being stolen out of the parking lot.

I have been living here since around 1978. There were a number of problems with management while this building was known as Sutton Place Apartments, mostly due to office staff and some workers. But since the change over to ReNew Mt. Vernon those issues are no longer apparent. All the current staff seem to be friendlier, happier, helpful and attentive. Any issues that are still outstanding seem to me to be handled or will be taken care of in the near future. I can count on this because of my conversations with the management staff who do seem to keep their word. I think some of the misgiving some people have is due to a lack of patience. To tell the truth I don't think anything is being ignored. It's just going to take a lot of money and time to get things done. One of the staff I can use as an example is Lary, who has lived here for 14 years and is one of the most likeable individuals on staff. That is because my wife and I have more contact with him than anyone else. He's always there. His voice carries and can be heard while he is on his rounds. When he comes to our floor we can be kept to date by listening to him speak to another resident. Sometimes he shows up to warn a tenant that they have a package that needs to be picked up because it was not left in a Parcel Pending box because it was too big and might go missing. He performed the cooking while he was in the pool area for a party that ended up inside due to the weather on June 15, 2023. That is service above and beyond, and a good cook too. In other words, I have no complaints regarding my living environment. I'm happy right now.

Had a lot of issues with major building systems: heat, AC, hot water, parking lot gates. Also bad communication from the office. Maintenance staff are great. The pool is great and our apartment is a great size.

Trinity and Building Management hasn't offered any solutions to the real issues that the tenants deal with every day. Expect to not have any AC during the summers and lack of hot water throughout the year. This place is under constitution and they will force you to sign a construction Addendum which they will always fall back on when you report issues - its expected to last at least 3.5 more years - thats 2027, so good luck if you move - You've been warned!!!! *** - details below AC has not worked AT ALL the past 2 summers and hot water will be unavailable random days of the week, usually in the early AMs. None of this an exaggeration. Dec 2022-Jan 2023, we had multiple issues where everyone had ABSOLUTELY not hot water for over a WEEK. Tenants had to fight tooth and nail to get some kind of utility credit. Imagine not being able to take a decent shower to get ready for work or after work to decompress. EXPECT it to happen at least once a week. We have absolutely no working AC. Its ridiculously humid, uncomfortable, and its only going to get worse as the heat ramps up. It is doubtful that this will actually be fixed anytime soon as they claimed this was fixed in 2022. Summer of 2022 we went the ENTIRE SUMMER without AC. ITS 2023, STILL NO FUNCTIONING AC. Parking - don't waste your money on paying for parking here its over $150 for the uncovered lot.The gates ARE ALWAYS OPEN AND BROKEN. Multiple residents who pay for parking have reported that their car got broken into and reported it to management. Management replied back saying they're not responsible because the gates are only there as a deterrent ....Well if the GATES were up working, wouldn't thrives be less enticed to carjack the cars? SECURITY - absolutely NO SECURITY in this building. Front Main entrance is a big automatic door and anyone can walk in if someone who has a fob opens the door.The back door is always open because it doesn't shut properly and whoever is delivering mail to the parcels downstairs unlocks the door and doesn't lock it when leaving. Everyone has complained about this with no accountability from management. The building is under a "60 month" renovation as of October 2021 and if you move in you will be forced to sign a "Construction ADDENDUM" which management will always fall back on when they fail to provide basic utilities. They will say "you knowingly signed this addendum". Don't be fooled by the gaudy and glammed exterior, its NOT shiny and new on the inside!!
