There are several things that I really don't like about the inside of the unit. All the hard earned money that was spent for the apartment. The stove doesn't even work properly. The shelves are uneven and don't even stay up. I pray that I make it through the lease because I definitely will not be renewing.

It is not the best but is ok. I am not too fond of this management company. The office staff are great. I do feel like the emails are a little excessive. I don’t like the kids playing in the parking lot instead of the areas they should be playing in. I’m afraid someone is going to get hit by a car. You can’t see them around the dumpster.

It's a safe neighborhood to live in. It's a very nice sized apartment. There's an issue with mice, which has been the case since I moved in years ago. The parking spots are small. There's no washer or dryer in your apartment.

New management is better than before . Now all outdoor area is clean . They take care mentainance order immediately. We offer our relative and friend move here . Only the one thing rent is some expensive then before . We are staying long time . If they consider that much better .

I haven’t had any issues with my apartment since I moved in in June. The problems I did have were all addressed in a timely fashion. Parking is always available and the neighborhood is relatively quiet.

Community is great, it’s clean and safe, staffs are nice and warm, but some policies are unnecessarily strict especially about the balconies! If we can’t plant, add chairs and tables or decorate it, i don’t see how do we own it!

Living is good but there is lots of cockroaches It’s clean in the surrounding They try to clear up the maintenance quickly but my bathroom flush hasnt worked good no matter how many time they fix it

can give this place zero or less review if I could. I lived here for more than 3 years. The former management was not the best but still not as horrible. The new property only care about the aesthetics of the property nothing else.The property manager is extremely rude, is full of attitude and is never available even if u have appointments scheduled and will keep u waiting and very unapologetic about it. Had to deal with mouse infestation, mold, water leaking in our living room from lightbulbs literally, kitchen and bathroom roof, as well as overflowing of toilet, bathtub and kitchen sink you name it. (I got charged for all of this when I left when I had proof the leaks were from floor above and I had video proofs). They will add extra unexplained charges to your rent every chance they get. You will have to chase them down for even the slightest conversation. Maintenance is never available, even if someone shows up days later they will not fix anything just there to come look at the problem. The property manager will give u her word and doesn’t stick to it (promised us she will handle our maintenance issues properly and the next day she denied it and said there’s nothing she can do) Will blame the old management for an excuse if they can’t come up with good excuses. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this place. Your leasing office should not be your biggest stress factor.

At first, they said if I moved within a certain period of time, the application fee would be waived. However, they charged me the application fee anyway. I called my bank to dispute the transaction, but later they doubled the price and threatened to send it to collections if I didn't pay $400 just for the application fee, even though I hadn't stayed there.

I moved in May 15, 2020. This office manager is rude and unprofessional. They put me on a month to month lease because I didn't sign a lease, which made my rent go up $150. Now if I sign a lease it will go up another $150. Why am I paying so much money for the same apartment. It's not remodeled and maintenance does a horrible job. The wash machines are always broke. I can never speak to the owners. I recommend looking at other apartments because they offer more.
MICE infestation throughout the buildings. Do not be fooled by how nice the leasing office appears. Apartments are old and in need of renovations. Maintenance will not respond to service tickets or phone calls.

Love the community, it quiet, well kept. Whenever had to call maintenance or have questions for property manager they've been knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Definitely plan on staying here.

Management is non responsive to the uninhabitable and potentially dangers to their tenants health and well being. By not addressing the mold, mice, and bats (in the apartment and common areas), I had to break my lease and management still made me pay a penalty. I had to pay out of pocket to resolve all issues stated above. Redoing the model apartments means nothing if you haven't fixed momemtal issues within the apartments, foundation, or your management!! Future tenants may want to run the other way!!!

I have been here for 10 year and at first it was nice. Now everything is terrible. I went without hot water for an entire week with a newborn. The girls in the office are rude and you can never speak to a manager or the owner. Just recently they decided they didn't want to renew our lease and only gave us a 6 week notice. Our Lease ends the end of December so that makes noving a family of 4 difficult for with the Holidays. When I called to ask why they were doing this I was told they dont have to give me a reason. I have been a paying tenant for 10 years. We dont cause problems or make noise so there is no reason for this at all. After all the crap that we dealt with over the past 10 years this is a terrible way to run a business.

I have to disagree in regards to this apartment complex. The staff in the office are extremely courteous and helpful. There are many people who have lived here for 10 years plus and love the area and the staff. This apartment complex is like home.
Laundry/Trash/Storage in one room. We now have roaches all on our stuff in the storage bin. Our building carpet never gets cleaned. Pot hole in the street - still hasn’t been fixed. Landscaping is nice but that’s where the focus is all the time. No offering of remodeling - it’s an ok apartment complex. The only thing they offer is great living space. 2 washers and dryers shared with two buildings (not enough).
I’ve been here less than 4 months & have A LOT of opinions already. I'm extremely disappointed by all the issues because I really wanted to love it here. Here are key issues due to limited space. 1) OFFICE MGMT. I had to switch units before move-in because someone messed up. I was promised a “nicer & newer” apartment, but I’ve had nothing but issues like neighbor smoke, dishwasher filling w/ dirty sink water, & ROACHES. When I complained about a smoke smell in my apartment, Prop. Mgr. said he can’t tell people not to smoke because it’d be “discrimination against smokers”. (That’s NOT a thing.) The whole operation is SO outdated. It’s 2018, it’s a HUGE complex, & they don’t have an online pay or maintenance system. The only way to know something’s fixed is coming home to "maintenance was here" tag. 2) BAD CARPETING. They did a terrible job carpeting my unit so my neighbor’s smoke kept filling my apartment (cigs & weed). The smell was coming from floors/walls where carpet hadn't been put in deeply under the baseboard. It took 3 weeks for them to finally fill these gaps, despite the mgr. saying he’d send someone over in a few days. It took 3 calls & an e-mail to finally get it fixed so I wouldn’t smell smoke everyday. 3) ROACHES. I have black roaches now. I reported it to maintenance & they said I wasn’t the only one. STILL waiting on action on this & relying on traps until extermination is scheduled. It’s irresponsible that they’d know 1 unit has roaches & not think that the whole building should be treated. 4) LOUD PEOPLE/THIN WALLS. Walls, doors, & ceilings are paper thin. I can listen to upstairs neighbors’ entire convos all day/night. When their cat meows, it sounds like it’s in my apartment. I’ve lived places where you can hear some sounds, but this is excessive. 6) GROSS TRASH – It’s convenient that trash is picked up 3x a week, but it’s gross that it’s kept in the laundry room & not dumpsters. Every weekend it starts to smell terrible because of buildup, & I wouldn’t be surprised if this contributed to the current roach problem. PROS (A few): 1) Spacious living areas, bedroom & closet. Also a small storage cage (not climate controlled) in laundry room. 2) Convenient. 3 groceries stores w/in walking distance. Tons of shops & restaurants. Perry Hall has lots of cuisines & is 5-10 minutes from White Marsh Mall. 3) Quick maintenance for basic repairs (but not complex issues like roaches). 4) Prompt salting during snow/ice weather. 5) Ample free parking.
I been living here for about two months. The leasing management staff and maintence staff are friendly and professional. If there are any issues with regarding maintenance, an associate from the releasing office take the call and sent maintence to the apartment immediately. It's very quiet and peaceful community. I have lived in Perry Hall Apartments for going on 3 years, the maintenance people respond right away, it's quiet and I have great neighbors, I just would like to have a pool and fitness center along with washer and dryer in the individual units.
I have been living here for almost 3 years and I really like my apartment. My building is quiet and I have no noise complaints. Maintenance is always prompt and efficient, Grounds are always well kept.My apartment is not huge but a good size.Lots of retail stores nearby. I would highly recommend Perry Hall Apartments.
Perry Hall Apartments are a grey place to live , me and my son have been living here about 5 years , all the office staff are wonderful , very please to and helpful , the maintenance staff are great ,they always take care of any issues you may have promptly and fast with a great attitude , the apartments are very nice and clean , the property is kept up nice and is always clean , the owners defiantly put money back into the property , I've never lived in a better place and plan to live here always , no plans of moving out , great location and wonderful place to live with or with out kids , I would tell anyone to live here....
we have lived at this address for 27 years, a long time. we are seniors and this location is good for us because of the stores in walking distance to us. i do not drive my husband does but if there is a time i have to go to the storee i can walk. i just wish theey would not raise our rent every year. they do come out to fix things in a reasonable amount of time and we can have our apt painted every three years. it is an ok apt, the rent is to high but it is the cheapest in this area. at least we have a roof overr our heads. thanks cheryl
I moved here two years ago after getting a teaching job (I'm originally from PA) and this seemed like the biggest bang for the buck in the area. I've honestly had no problems at all with this apartment when it comes to day-to-day living. The office management, on the other hand, is less than terrific. Every time you walk into the office there is someone complaining about something and every single time, without fail, the person hearing the complaint is told that there is nothing she can do. They will not allow you to talk to anyone above them. You're at the mercy of whoever is manning the desk and what their mood is like. Make friends with maintenance guys because they're awesome and help with whatever they can.
I am 63 and have made my apartment my true home. I was living in my own home for a while and had to sell because I was laid off and could not keep it, it made me realize at my age that it is true that your home is what you make it. My apartment is very cozy and welcoming and it is cheerful and my neighbors are all very helpful and willing to be there if needed. It backs up to a wooded area that I can enjoy the rabbits, squirrels and I have even seen deer and also little birds in birdbaths that my neighbors have on the grassy part by the woods. I can sit out on my patio and enjoy it all. My apartment has great customer service as I have called for mainteneance for my shower in the late hours of the night and the mainteneance emergency guy came right away. It is very clean and plenty of room for all my furniture. My last coment is that I feel as comfortabl and safe in my apartment as I did on my home I used to have. Been here for almost 4 years and also it is 3 miles from my work.
Perry Hall apts. are calm and quiet, with spacious apartments for a good price. There is a small laundry room in every other building, you get a dishwasher....and most places here have carpeted floors. Maintenance of the entire complex is kept on a tight schedule, and most complaints are fixed immediately. If a hall light is out, it won't be for long- it gets fixed fast. Personal maintenance leaves something to be desired, as your maintenance need may be deemed a non-priority (like ac or heat on the weekends) or maintenance takes an entire day of service. Either way, not much to complain about, a great place to stay.
