Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Staff has been helpful with keeping contact for moving in. The move in process has been seamless so far. The apartment was clean when we moved in and had no complaints. Neighbors appear noisy but the staff has sent out emails addressing noise complaints which is reassuring.

Used to have the club house open for printing and being able to use the computers. New ownership came and now it has to be reserved. My apartment is still waiting on door sweepers. The paint color is depressing…why gray? Make a warm and inviting color to the community. And the new parking spaces are not spaced well. Additionally, they got rid of the volleyball court and expanded the dog park….how about updating the kid playgrounds before updating a park for dogs. We shall see if all these things improve, but I’m not too confident right now.

Parking is becoming an issue. Specifically lack of it for residents. Some residents have multiple vehicles and I don't believe parking is enforced like it has previously been.

I have no issue with my apartment until after staying in an apartment for 5 years and I requested for a change to new apartment of the same but I was told I have to applied as a new tenant with new rent since I don’t know if that’s the standard I picked no offense in that. I requested for painting and change of carpet which is a standard for those who has lived 5 years in same apartment and I was approved of change in carpet and partial wall painting. For over 8 months and as I write this, nothing has been done on it. It is so painful after sending different mails with evidence of approval, no response to the mail I sent. This is awful. Check my payment records, I paid all my fees at when due. And you can’t fulfill your promises as well. Am so sure that only or few apartments have not been upgraded as we still use old gadgets.

I love the amenities and the park like setting of the property. It's a great place to walk with your pets and children. Maintenance have always been respectful and helpful. Prices have definitely gone up and there have been extra fees with the new management. We are trying to have grace during the transition, but it's been difficult at times.

So far so good. Parking situation is terrible but overall everything else is okay. Building management has been very helpful and communicative.

Overall living here is pretty good. I like the layout of the apartments but I do think several upgrades need to be made as some things are old and falling apart. The staff are pretty responsive and nice and there's a good amount of effort to try and get to know the residents.

So far the community has been quiet and maintenance is great, we had a few issues with our unit and maintenance was quick to respond. I also had a package delivered when I was not home and someone in my building placed it by my door.

The apartment is good for the price in the area. Its not cheap to live here given the utility cost and rent but its harder to find something cheaper with a good layout. The amazon locker is a nice amenity. The few issues we have seen are: I wish it was cleaner when the apt was given to us. The maintenance requests aren't always fixed properly. The geese poop is annoying. If management cut down the mini apple trees the geese would prob stop coming to the area. The office never picks up the phone or returns calls. However they are available in the office. They need to provide an ample amount of time when communicating work at the complex. They were redoing the parking lot and they told us the week of that we have to move cars and we were already out of town. They mentioned they would tow at owners expense. Luckily we weren’t affected but wanted to mention. Overall we like living here, the community is nice, rent is fair.

Decent apartment community the people in the community are very respectful. This community is very safe and the location is conveniently located near our children school, shopping, and to where I work.

The community for the most part is nice, parking can be a little difficult at times. There are a lot of updates being done this year, so hopefully the improvements will make the community better.

I love my apartment and have no issues other than the fact squirrels are able to get into the attic and they run through my ceilings and walls and have made their way into my AC vents.. multiple work requests have been put it the get the building examined and points of entry patched

I lived here back in 1991/1992 when these apartments were still being built and the complex was called Park Place. Fast forward 30 years (2022) and after owning a home in Hanover Park, selling to downsize, I moved back. I'm enjoying my stay and the improvements that have transpired since the new mgmt company took over. Thank you!

Nice community with mixed culture. It would be great volley ball court is back. Utility charges seems higher recent days which is wierd. But it’s being redesigned which is ok

I moved in a couple weeks ago and am really enjoying the experience so far. My apartment is clean, comfortable, spacious, and there are tons of storage options. I like being able to take walks around the neighborhood and feel safe doing so. I moved into a renovated unit and you could tell that they used cheap materials, but honestly, it doesn't bug me. The apartment is very comfortable.

I have lived here for 4 years and love it! It has everything I need as is close to shopping and a forest preserve. I enjoy the apartment layout and the amenities.

Much better since being in a renovated apartment. Service team is slow to take care of work orders, but I understand working at a 719-unit property. Team is usually pretty nice, and I’m looking forward to the community’s improvements!

So far, it’s a decent experience here in Reserve. The only thing that I feel you can improve is to install some lights near the park and on the road with in the community because it’s too dark

I am happy with the space of an apartment. Good Neighbors and loving all the facilities. Staff is very cooperative and informative. Fitness center could have been better but waiting for renovation to see the more equipment.

New management has been rough. Everything is in upheaval. Communication is slow or nonexistent. I like my apartment and maintenance is fairly responsive. May update once all the dust settles.

As a resident in this community for a little over a year now I’ve had a great experience. Not only has my experience been great but it’s been great for my daughter as well. She really enjoys having a playground right across from where we live and it’s a short ride to her school.

The apartment wasn’t up to par when I moved in. Months later still working on maintenance tickets. The price I pay isn’t showed in the actual unit. I don’t recommend. The new staff tries to help. But the apartment just isn’t great.

Very good neighborhood, not noisy, excellent staff and good conditions. The facilities and surrounding areas are constantly improving. It’s amazing.

All the major renovations going on which means the costs are going to be passed on to the tenants and we all know that means increased rent or other fees, otherwise a fantastic community to live in.

Nice place to live but they’re some things I can’t understand. Re New is in the middle of major renovations. The club house in which has the business center and fitness center is closed in the interim. We pay for these amenities but we are not reimbursed or receiving a credit for not having access to these for at least 90 days .

I just moved in a few months ago and I really love it here. The apartments are great, the in-unit wash and dryer make my life so much easier. The apartments are in a great location, very close to a lot of grocery stores, restaurants and other necessities. I would really recommend living here!

Love staying here. Been here long term and enjoy the ameneties and neighborhood here. Very conveniently located and in a good school district. They are making some changes to the look and feel to the excretory exteriors but the insides still need some renovating, which is hear is coming!

Good location and comfortable place to live. Stay on top of maintenance requests to stay hassle free. Also, parking can be tough late at night, but that is due to popularity of the place.
