I’ve had a mixed experience living in my apartment. While the location and amenities are decent, the maintenance is a major drawback. Requests take an incredibly long time to be addressed, and even after waiting, the issues often remain unresolved. One ongoing problem is the occasional appearance of roaches, which, though not constant, are still unsettling. Aside from these issues, the apartment itself is generally comfortable, with a reasonable amount of space and a good layout. The neighbors are friendly, they can be loud at night. However, the slow maintenance response and pest problem have made living here less enjoyable than it should be. It would be great if the management could improve their maintenance services and take quicker action on pest control to make the overall living experience more pleasant.

Great community, the front office is willing to help resisdents with all issues. A good 10 mins from Florida A&M, has a good pool and gym area only issues may be maintenance doesnt come right away.

I’ve been living here for a while, I’ve encountered several issues that have impacted my experience. Firstly, communication with management has been a consistent challenge. Requests, especially for room changes and maintenance, often go unanswered or are significantly delayed, which has made it difficult to feel supported as a resident. Timely follow-up seems to be lacking, and I've found myself having to repeatedly reach out just to get basic updates or responses. Additionally, there have been problems like maintenance delays, cleanliness, noise, and safety, which management has yet to fully address. While I understand that running a large complex has its challenges, the lack of proactive support and communication really affects residents’ overall experience. If management could improve responsiveness and focus on addressing resident concerns more effectively, this would be a much better place to live.

Everyone is friendly, it's easy to navigate, and neighbors are nice. There's a pool and gym. Maintenance may take a bit, but they do an excellent job, making it a great experience overall!

On 10/17/2024 , my main door key fob stopped working unexpectedly, and I suspected a dead battery. I reported it immediately to maintenance, and they arrived within an hour. However, it took them another hour of troubleshooting to finally get my door open that day. Since then, if the door closes, it can't be opened from the outside, which means someone has to be inside at all times just to allow access.The maintenance team replaced the battery, but the fob still didn’t work. They indicated a specific device needed replacement and assured me it would be fixed that evening. Days went by with no updates, so I reached out, only to be told not to call multiple times, as they had other high-priority tasks. Later, a maintenance worker mentioned that the part was delayed due to a hurricane impacted place. It’s now been over a week, and my door remains unrepaired, forcing us into a frustrating situation that feels like it's not being prioritized despite its impact on daily life and security.

The apartments are full of black mold to the point of affecting health, there’s roaches no matter how clean you keep it, and damages throughout the apartment buildings. On top of that, maintenance takes at least a month to arrive. Would not recommend

My experience living in Renew so fat has been amazing. The people around are nice and generous. Getting things fixed around my place has been no problem at all. All the staff at the office are always nice and welcoming when I come in.

I really wanted to enjoy my time at this apartment, but its been very difficult. There was a shooting while I was here, fruit flies have infested my apartment for months. I went without water for two weeks. I had a leak above the stove through both the recent hurricanes and for over three weeks. Contacting the office is a pain, there is only so much the kind people at the front desk can do, and no one further up ever shows their face. Basically, its better if you never have a maintenance concern.

I loved the introduction to the finish of this apartment complex. The office staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good maintenance staff also. The rent is very reasonable compared to many of the other apartment complexes in Tallahassee. I'm quite sure I'll enjoy my stay here for years to come!

I love my apartment, it fits me well and my roommates are so sweet and welcoming. Front desk are VERY understanding & property management is very helpful when it comes to having a problem.

Amazing to live here, the leasing office and even the maintenance people everyone is so friendly. The rooms are amazing and even the neighborhood is amazing.

This is a great community. The neighborhood is safe be aware of surroundings. The people are friendly. Great near surrounding schools always a joy to be around different college students.

currently just moved in as of aug 21 and there are plenty of issues with the apartment already. when i first moved in the condition of the apartment was horrible they didn’t clean nor fix anything up. doesn’t look anything like the model and they will LIE to you to make you believe that it will. the apartment had holes in the wall, crevices and cracks weren’t sealed, toilets were dirty and broken, countertops falling apart, appliances in bad condition, pest infestations, mold, rust, and so many other issues. the management team gives people the run around and doesn’t actually fix the issue just cover it up. they don’t move urgently with issues as well which will leave you to have to deal with it until someone comes which won’t be till weeks later. outside of buildings look horrible as well. the dumpster of trash just fills up and falls all over the ground which causes more rodents and pest. i would not recommend and definitely dont lease here because it will be your worst experience

My apartment was not all the way up to the standard that it was protracted to me so that one thing I didn’t like. Another is the front door I don’t want this lock on my door if I have to leave my door open to not be locked out my apartment it’s unsafe also. I’m just trying to give things a trial an error run no lie.

If you're thinking about moving into this apartment complex, think again. The experience I’ve had here has been a total disaster from day one. Im not sure how to verify myself as a renter, but I moved in for the 8/24-25 annual leasing term. They actually gave me the keys to an apartment where someone was still living. That’s right—they moved me into a current resident’s apartment. I had to deal with six different people trying to fix this mess: the tenant, their partner, front desk staff, the assistant manager, and the manager. And even after all that, nothing was fully resolved. To top it off, the apartment was dirty, and both the desk and dresser were broken. When I asked for a basic cleaning that should have been done before my arrival, they told me it was my job to request it! You’re supposed to walk into a clean, ready-to-go apartment, not one that’s been lived in or neglected. They also promised me a credit for all the inconvenience. One person told me it would be $125, while another said it was between $250 and $400. But here’s the kicker: they didn’t even apply the credit. It was just an empty promise to shut me up, and they never followed through. This place is a complete mess—disorganized, unprofessional, and not worth your time or money. If you sign a lease here, be prepared for headaches, empty promises, and terrible service. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else. I wish I could give them zero stars. Avoid this place at all costs.

Maintenance is slow as hell we have a leak in our kitchen and my medicine done fell off and there is glass all over my floor. And we are paying for a renovated unit and this unit isn’t giving renovated at all!!

Good infrastructure, well equipped gym and maintenance is good. Utilities are bit concerning and it would be better if student discounts are being provided. In the Utilities the main issue is with Electricity, because in few instances it will be spiked much rather than Water & Sewage. Sometimes maintenance issues are being resolved very late which has to be improved.

Move in was very easy. My AC has been broken for a week and is still not fixed. The pool area is nice. My apartment wasn’t very clean when I moved in.
