Omg this place is disgusting , it may look good on the outside but run far away from this place PLEASE ‘ especially the “k” area . They have a rat problem and no one is trying to fix the problem . They have rat traps outside of the apartments but they don’t tell you anything about the rat problem they let you see for yourself just to get your money . It’s rats running all around those apartments . They also attach so many fees to the rent you’ll be paying so much more after the first 2 months . Smh

No one answers the phone regardless of what time it is. So many fees attached to your rent that you end up paying more than what the apartment is worth. New manager and office staff are not friendly or professional.
They take a "mandatory cleaning fee" out of your deposit (not on the lease agreement) without even checking to see if your apartment was clean first. It is "standard procedure" as the front desk lady said, but is not written in writing. Bring this issue up to them sternly before starting a lease. Other than that, the property is fine. Good value for the area.
Ever time I call the office they was all way nice me
Office staff is amazing, however you might as well fix everything yourself, take out your trash by yourself even tho you pay for valet trash pick up because those workers are to lazy to do their jobs.

Great place to live in Shreveport. Convenient to everything you need. Great staff, always helpful and friendly. Ive been here over 12 years. For me its the best apartment deal in Shreveport.

When I first moved into the apartment complex it was quiet, unfortunately that all changed when new neighbors move in. I have had to contact the police as well as the front office numerous times and nothing has been done about it. My upstairs neighbors physically and verbally fight which can be heard in my home all times of night & morning. I have gotten to the point where I am anticipating my move out date.

I enjoy my cottage at Towne Oaks, and for the most part, everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful. I am shocked at the amount of animal waste that is around the complex. Several times I have called about finding this waste on my front lawn only to be told that it is my responsibility to catch the owner of the animal and report them. I would not want my property looking like that, and would review security cameras rather than asking the resident to stand watch for whoever is allowing their animal to leave a mess all over the complex. My cottage faces the street.....if you cared to go around the corner where the cottages are facing each other, you would find a lot more of this waste.

I have been a resident for four years. I have been very pleased with office and maintainence staff. They are always courteous and respond to any issues I have. This is a very pleasant apartment community well maintained and centrally located.

Air Conditioning broken on move in. $150-$200 electric bills the first couple months (with the apartment at 80 degrees) and 4 or 5 repair requests before they finally found the freon leak. Multiple window and roof leaks throughout my time here which took weeks and sometimes months to fix while water poored in through the window and soaked walls. Awful pest problem (lots of cockroaches). Many residents smoke, so chances are your apartment will smell like cigarette smoke. Management is extremely rude and will charge you fees at $50 a pop on every turn. Also if you live on the wrong side of the property the parking lots flood and there's a good chance your car will flood and/or you will be walking through ankle-calf deep water to get to your car in the morning.
I came here to Towne oaks for a tour of the place and fell in love the staff is amazing answered all my questions and was a great help I'll be coming to leave with u guys soon I wanted to move in the day I toured the place but couldn't. Cant stop thinking about the apartment I seen great area to live beautiful apartments.
I've lived here for a little over 2 years now and staying here has become unbearable. The first year & a half was great. It was quiet and peaceful and the staff was very friendly. Now, there are wild pool parties and noisy neighbors more often than not. The office staff is very rude and doesn't care about your concerns. I will be moving ASAP even if it means breaking my lease. The maintenance men fix things quickly but it's always half done and you will have to call them back out. Not worth the money.
I moved here in December, 2018 and have no desire to move anywhere else. It is quiet, clean and peaceful here considering the location. I have had no issues with staff or other residents and feel quite safe here. I do, however, believe that one or two items on the lease should be optional rather than mandatory but they're not really worth a battle. Ebonee was my leasing agent and still takes care of any questions and/or concerns in a timely and professional manner. I will probably live here a long time as long as the rent remains reasonable.
The unit was extremely spacious. All of my appliances we practically brand new. The maintenance team reacted very quick to any concern. Never seen any signs of bugs/pests. DOWNFALL: the office staff are filled with the rudest women on the planet. If it wasn’t for them, I could have remained at this complex.
Their staff is the absolute worst. Very rude! I called to get information and one lady literally barked at me and acted like I was imposing on her.Please do not rent from these imbeciles,take your business elsewhere.The aprtments are not even that nice.
I love the spacious floor plans and the large balcony. What I do not like is how rent has gone up each month since I've been here. Unnecessary fees each month that raises your rent payments. They've been 'remodeling' since I moved here and I have yet to see improvements. If you want a spacious living dwelling, this place is perfect.
This apartment complex I lived at for 3 years, the rent want up from 700 to 900 they did not take military discounts 3 years ago now they do and they told me I could not get it because I would need to move to another apartment they come up with their own rules they do not respect their renters they are redoing the look to make it look butter but the guys fixing it up are lazy and do not pick up after themselves! Just trust me and do not move here! GLAD I MOVED!'nn
Town oake south is a pleasant quiet place to live. It has three pools and a playground for lots of family entertainment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The apartments are well maintained. It is a very comfortable spacious place to live worth every penny.
