Spruce St. Nice Deal

1122 is a nice looking brownstone located in one of the safest areas of the city. There's about 12-15 apartments in the building with varying age residents but most are in their 30's or so. There's a courtyard with plenty of plants and trees and is pretty nice but it needs some work like new benches and a cleanup of some of the junk in the back corner. The apartment isn't anything special but it is big, relatively cheap, and in a great location. There are 3 floors including a top floor loft bedroom with full bath, middle floor kitchen and living room with living room open to top floor, and a very big bottom floor bedroom with full bath. There's only one window on the middle floor but it is a massive window facing the street. The central air conditioning broke when I moved in, in the middle of the summer. It was brutal for the few weeks it took to remedy the situation because they couldn't fix it and had to install ac units in each apartment. Our one big window wasn't exactly a great place to house one of these and it did not cool the bottom floor very well. They are pet friendly and that along with the courtyard to easily bring my dog out were a deciding factor in residing here. Overall I would recommend it if you are on a budget, have pets, and want a good location but there are plenty of nicer, up-to-date places.
