There are certain things that I do like about these apartments, such as the location. Everything is nearby. What I don't like is that there seems to be a lack of management. I don't know what is going on, but there has been a temp in the office, so nothing much as been getting done. There is so much I could say about how poorly these apartments are managed. All I can say is that renewing my lease here is out of the question.

The leasing center shows an apartment in the leasing center which is very nice. However, there is another building that is 15 years older that they don’t show or mention in your lease. That building is on another street so you have to walk to get to where the amenities are. The leasing center people didn’t even know where that building was and I had to ask maintenance on the day we moved in. The building is old and has water damage in the cabinets, hardwood floors are all stained, no garbage disposal, walls are paper thin. We’ve also lived here for 2 weeks and don’t have our key fob to get into the building. The leasing office is extremely unorganized and we have been given different answers to questions. They are never there and close the office randomly.I would highly recommend looking somewhere else.

I really liked to rent at Kenton Place apts. I lived there for two years and enjoyed ; it is very clean and quiet, very good location , close to expressways and nice stores. the complex has pretty green areas and big parking space. The office manager is very kind and helpful and if there is something in the apartments that needs to be fixed the maintenance people respond quickly . I meet nice and kind people ; I would rented again ; Loved the location.
We have been living here for 7 months and we are SO GLAD we only signed a 7 month lease. There is a large amount of silverfish bugs everywhere, constant growing mold on the windows no matter how much bleach or other cleaners you use, trashy renters, poor staff, the porch ceiling is basically falling off we have to sweep the deck most of the time to get it off.
Love Love my apartment! I moved in almost two weeks ago. From the first day I toured the apartments through the day I signed my lease customer service has been excellent! Service request have been answered within seconds(literally). Dylan is top knotch! His customer service is excellent!!! Im glad that I made the choice to live @ Reserve @ Kenton place! Is everything in the building perfect? Of course not? ie:the elevator ??) I only ride it if I have to, but my apartment is perfect for me. I am new to the area and am loving it so far. Dont knock it until you try it. Some things you need to see for yourself. I almost did not come to tour the place for reading the reviews. Im glad I came to see for myself. One persons experience can be totally different from the next. Where your'e placed makes a difference. I am pleased with my stay!
Please don't bother wasting your money on this apartment complex. They trick you by up-keeping the front office area and the models extra clean and when you get into your real apartment you see that they don't keep them nearly as clean. The hallways are consistently smelly and dirty. Your "move-in ready" apartment will still have dirt, stains, and nails in the walls. They've promised multiple things to update and make cleaner but it never happens. The amenities aren't that great. The pool and the gym is small. I've made maintenance requests online and they will say they've done it when they never did, leaving you to place another request and hoping it'll get done. There are so many other apartments in the area for the same price with better amenities and better kept up buildings and units. The staff rarely answers the phone or emails when you try to contact them about something. Anytime an issue is brought up to the main manager she gets snarky and acts like you don't know what you're talking about. All in all it's not a great place to live.
Been here for over a year. My one bedroom apartment is lovely. The features in the apartment were the selling point. I am on a second floor. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. The staff is friendly and kind and have never been anything less. However, this property is poorly managed. It is filthy. It does not receive regular cleaning/maintenance schedule in my building. The hallway carpeting has not been shampooed in at least 6 months and are filthy. The staircases are covered in dead bugs due to all the spiders. The outside property has dog poop everywhere. The mulch next to the patios on the first floor is water logged, smells like sewage and covered with flies,mosquitoes and other insects. The management has many reasons why this has not been maintained. The truth of the matter is, there is no set schedule of maintaining the property. There is no follow up to make sure it has been done and done well. The majority of the work is contracted out. When it has been done in the past, it had only been spot treated. For example, if the hallways carpet was vacuumed, it would only be vacuumed in areas that had dirt accumulations. With that said, the staff here is working hard at fixing individual apartment issues. They lack the man power and budget to handle the day to day cleanliness that nice properties require. It really is sad that my lovely apartment is marred by such dirty conditions.
Lived here for 3 years (moved out Feb 2018) - was formally operated under Pegasus Residential & things were awesome! As soon as it was changed to first communities it all went downhill. Unbelievable amount of dog poo outside in the common ways, the inside hallways are filthy and never cleaned. Maintenance is lazy and slow to respond - had them come out numerous times for a simple issue and they were too bothered to really investigate and find out what the issue was. Not worth the money. Only good thing about the place is the stainless steel and upgraded applicances. Screw everything else.
the apartment complex is dirty and messy and hasnt been cleaned in months. The main office doesnt respond to emails and hasnt provided any paperwork to me for the moving out process (moving out cleaning list, etc.). There is dog poop everywhere outside and some residents pile tons of bags of garbage out on their patio. There are better maintained apartment complexes available in this area for the same price and cheaper. Dont be fooled by the walk through as that is the only area that is clean and maintained for viewing for perspective residents. I was very excited to live here when i first moved in. My neighbors are great, we are all just sick of living in a filthy building that is run under poor management.
Just want to give a shoutout to The Reserve at Kenton Place. I have been here a few months, and very impressed with the staff and customer service thus far. They are very helpful and the manager is very understanding of any concerns. I even put in a maintenance ticket this am in regards to my fridge making a noise, and had maintenance knocking at my door an hr later. Very pleased so far with my stay.
