This complex is a complete joke. I’ve had multiple issues since moving in from pest to mold and the office cares more of updating their office and grounds than the health and safety of their tenants. I completely recommend staying away from this roach infested molded ran down complex. I only wish I did more research. Management is nothing better they just tell you what you wanna hear and keeps it moving…… again STAY AWAY OR YOU’LL REGRET IT

Do not rent here, unsafe community with anyone walking through the community, the police are always called. In addition, the place is roach infested and the building is literally falling apart. Not to mention the terrible new management that took over called Hawthorne Residential Partners; there is constant issues with the office. this is no place for people who have children; unsafe, unsanitary. There is nothing "luxury" about this place.

Have been living here for over a year now. The apartments are old and things keep breaking. Since the new management changed its getting worst. Nothing gets fixed, mold and AC issues all the time. Staff is rude and does not care about their residents! There is always and issue with the GYM (door locked, AC not working) I would not recommend living here.

If I could, I’d put zero stars. The leasing consultants and managers are horrible. Get used to them never picking up the phone after days of calling multiple times, to eventually walking in the office to put in a work order to them saying it’s handled. Come home to nothing fixed the second day you call and complain they promise to come in THAT DAY. To once again nothing. We finally did an emergency call at night for a maintenance guy to tell us they never informed maintenance. We’ve had multiple problems with our apartment. From flooding in our hallway and living room, to our washer breaking multiple times to where it SMOKES now and they still aren’t taking this seriously. Get used to dog poop everywhere they don’t enforce it and don’t have trash stations with doggie bags like every other apartment I’ve lived in. They promise luxury but it’s anything but that. The first day we moved in, the walls had stains and were still not painted over, our closets doers were dented and there was bugs in the light fixtures we didn’t even have outlet covers on some of the power outlets. The toilet was put in sideway, our shower curtain was rusted from the day we moved in the bathroom fan filter was never changed the dyer vents weren’t cleaned in I don’t know how long to the point where our clothes wouldn’t dry . This isn’t even the half.

They didn’t hold our contract! Even the day before moving and everything was good to go until 10 minutes before they were going to close decided to let us know we needed to pay more or have to wait to hold that contract. Even though we purchased electricity to move in the next day. They are unprofessional in an organized!

The property is not what is advertise. The dog park is rarely cleaned and there is no enforcement on people cleaning after the dogs. You will often find trash and pieces of glass on the grass if you are to walk you dog be wary of that. The luxury it promises is everything but that that. I am looking forward to my move out date.

Just moved in with my fiancé and 3 children it’s supper quiet neighborhood. Maintenance is supper fast with getting repairs! Thank you to Maria in the leasing office for making the move in and application process so quick! Everything included in rent besides electric I love the pool area! Only complaint I have had was bugs when first moving in due to our unit being vacant for some time overall would recommend

I have lived here since 1992 and I call this place home. There has been so many changes I have lost count, and even though I am scared of change so far this has been the best. The community looks so much better then ever and my apartment got nice upgrades as well. Theres a sweet lady in the office that accepts my rent check every month even though the company wants me to pay online. I love it here and I will always call this place my home. I just hope they don't drastically increase my rent this year as I am on a fixed income.

I have lived here since 1992 and its a place I call home. I have seen many things throughout my time here but its still a place I call my home. The new changes are scary for an elderly like myself, but I truly see a difference both in the staff and the way the community looks. There's a sweet lady in the front that is always is helpful to me in paying my rent and still accepts my checks even though the company wants me to pay online. I call this place home and you should to.
I have lived in multiple apartments and even though at first I was uneasy about moving here, so far it has been such a pleasant experience. The staff has been courteous, I have spoken with the property manager myself and you would be surprise she actually cares unlike at some other places I have lived, and maintenance isn't perfect but its a beautiful place to live, the upgrades make a difference.
We wanted to break our lease (which ends in January) in order to move into a larger space because we are expecting a baby! So my husband went to the office on the 10th and started the “termination of lease” paperwork which we received a copy of that both he and one of the leasing consultants signed saying we could move out on October 24th. I then receive a call from the assistant manager on the 19th (so 9 days later and only 5 days before we are moving out), that the lease states they require a 60 day notice even for breaking of lease and we can’t move out until December 10th. I tried to explain that we already started this process and the office signed the document saying we can move out early. So she tells me she will “call me back later that day” and I never heard anything again until Monday the 23rd. That’s when someone else from the office told us we can come sign the paperwork and turn in our keys. So we move out, turn in our keys and believe everything is fine. That was until yesterday when I see that we are being charged $3000 for the termination fee ($1700) plus Novembers rent and 10 days into December. So Reserve at Lake Irene is not only charging us without telling us, but they are also charging for an extra month and a half of rent when we agreed move out was October 24th (with a SIGNED document). And on top of all of that – they are charging for a place we can NO LONGER PHYSICALLY LIVE IN because we turned in keys. So they get to avoid confrontation and just charge us behind our backs, plus they get to lease an apartment back out that is still being paid for by old tenants (us). I could understand if they told us, we can’t let you out early, you must wait for December 10th – I wouldn’t have been happy, but I would understand that’s what the lease said. But they actually signed a document that said we could move out early – and yet still have the audacity to charge us for a place we can’t live in. Mind you that I was willing to pay a termination fee of double the rent even though our lease ends in January – so technically I am paying for November and December anyways. We have always been good tenants and have never caused any issues in the community, so the fact that the office can charge us for no reason even with a SIGNED document shows me that we will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and warn people to be very careful when dealing with the office.
I've been in this apartment for a year and while it's definitely not The Taj Mahal, it's also not a slum. The leasing office staff is very friendly and helpful if you can get them to answer the phone, I've actually found walking into the office gets the best results. The maintenance crew leaves the most to be desired. There are a couple guys that do a great job but the others are in no rush to do anything quick or well. There is also an issue of less than desirable neighbors. Most of the residents are quiet and pretty considerate but almost none of them pick up after their K9 companions. There's also a pretty sketchy neighborhood just over the perimeter wall that brings some drugs/crime. I know I'm not making it sound like Mayberry but it's really not all bad and I have no plans on leaving soon. The layouts are nice and spacious, my one bedroom apartment feels much bigger than it actually is and there's TONS of closet space. All in all, if you need an inexpensive place to live, in a decent area, don't mind the occasional drug deal or dog bomb, I would recommend this place for sure.
Within our first 2 months our ac has gone out a total of 7 times. How this isn't fixed yet I don't know but maintenance is a joke.
