Property Ratings at Kensley Apartment Homes
If I could give zero stars I would!! Please avoid this place at all cost and believe the reviews. I regret not believing the reviews and moving here. First off property mgmt and agents are very unprofessional and rude. They talk to you any kind of way and do not communicate with each other. Secondly, these units are roach infested they come out the vents, the walls and even from outdoors (pest control spray does not work) 3) There is dog poop everywhere on grass and sidewalks(neither tenants or maintenance picks it up. 4) Maintenance takes there time coming to fix things; I’ve made plenty request and some thing have still yet to be fixed. 5) The office be closed during hours they are suppose to be open, they just sit and watch you through there windows 6) They have an answering service and don’t ever answer the office phone. The Kensley has set a bad look for Fairfield Residental I will not ever lease from the company again and I will tell others about my stay. I can’t wait until my lease is up and I’m being nice with this review because there is lots more that I could say. SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
Moving into Kensley apartments has been the worst experience so far. Even after reading the negative reviews I decided to give it a chance. This move have been the worst mistake of my life, my unit was not ready and I was not able to move in on the day I signed my lease. I have since been in the office several times with complaints, because no one ever answers the phone. No one in the office communicate accurately or fairly with each other or tenants. You ask for corporate info and no one seems to have it, you have to look it up yourself. No one at corporate has answered any calls or have they called back. I will definitely warn others of Fairfield mgmt and of this property. It's to many complaints to even type up, my unit is for sure not worth it, for all I am having to deal with including the pest (roaches). Things have been fixed that was not done at move in but I am still unhappy with the way the staff lies and cover each other (Ana, Sabrina) They will refuse to let you out of a lease, remove someone from a lease or add someone per they alleged policy which I have yet to see. I left work on my lunch today just to try and get things resolved, I spoke with Darcey. She seemed as if she genuinely care and stated she would get back in touch with me at some point today or tomorrow hopefully I'll have some helpful news. ON the up side the apartment is very spacious and maintenance are good at responding to request
Just moved my son, his girlfriend, and another friend into these today. It looks nice and clean, but is crawling with roaches. Not to mention the air conditioner is not working and it is July in Texas. Can’t get anyone to answer the phone. By the way, the “gated” community’s gate is wrapped around like a coil. Looks like someone ran threw it. Based on reviews it’s been this way about 5 years. AWFUL place!!
Horrible staff and very rude.very unsafe apartment due to killing over drugs. Got my two bikes stolen more than one time !! No parking unless you pay.im so happy I'm out of there it was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to live there especially if you have kids.thats why they changed the apartments name lol because they suck!!!!
I have never felt so much regret in my entire life. If only I could have foreseen the heartache & pain that I would be incurring by chosing to lease with The Reserve. I initially applied for a specific unit that was semi-updated. The rest of the units I was shown were old, outdated & only halfway clean; as in just like public housing or projects. I was approved & proceeded to move in on Tues. On Friday, I get a call from the office & am told the unit I rented had income restrictions & therefore I had to move to another unit or wait 30 days (or more of course) to get my money back. Mind u, I had already moved everything that we (my son & I) have in besides the big furniture. They showed me a couple of units, neither of which were to my liking. Nevertheless, I signed a new lease in a hurry, only because they made it seem like they were in so much of a hurry to get me moved. Fast fwd, as I start to moving all over again on today, Monday, I take a deeper look into the new unit & it is good awful nasty & just as I described the other units earlier - just like the projects. Long story short I expressed my concern & asked to be shown something else. I was denied any further action or accommodation because "u signed the new lease already". I even asked for my lease to shortened to 6mos. so I could at least have a few months break before moving again & time before having to xfer my son to another school because at this point, I know I don't wanna live here anymore, especially after being forced into settling for a unit that is not to my taste whatsoever. I'm sorry, that's right. This was all my fault. I shouldn't have signed the 2nd lease. Ikr. They did give me a free carport for the entire lease term, as if a conselation prize for the sucker. No worries. We'll make due. That's about all u can do here, make due. I went from a crooked smile to a straight frown before the 1st full months rent was even due. That's how my day's going. Now, as I take a break from re-moving from 2nd floor of 1 bldg to 3rd floor of ajacent bldg, sweating & looking at this whole situation, I feel like I'm being evicted even though we are just moving to a different unit because they are rushing me as if. I must say, dealing with this complex this week really got me thinking about moving far away from TX period. I wouldn't recommend anyone move anywhere near here. I am so extremely sad right now. I'd really just like it if they gave me my money back today. I'd be gone today far, far away.
We have been here 3 years and lived in 2 apartments. The staff is great and maintenance is fast when you have problem. We feel safe and comfortable here.
in the last week I broke my lease 6 months early after live here for 6 months, I just couldn't take it. To start never any parking then I when to get a carport or garage told me none was available until they did an audit the audit still hasn't been done and I'm gone now it was three months of me waiting. No one in the office knows anything about leasing information or how to run up apartment complex especially the manager. Every time I came into the office she was on her personal cell phone texting, I will wait for 30 minutes and a whole time I can see her in the door just on her personal cell phone not even trying to help. It will be literally 10 people waiting for one person trying to help why everybody else in the office is quote on quote occupied. I really don't think the new management is going to change anything since the same people are in there. Another thing the trash pick-up it will be trash and debris all around the apartments for no particular reason at all. It was so bad I went out there and I picked up the trash because I didn't want my guests to think I lived in some nasty filthy Apartments. I get packages from Amazon UPS and they are always stolen from my front door and the office or someone at the office tells them that they can't accept them. The kids that live in these apartments do what they want two people personal property I have so kids kick dance and people cars jump on them trunk of rocks from their second and third floor patio on two cars coming into the apartments and thought it was a game to see who can hit the car. When I say don't move don't. The money I spend to break the lease was well worth it because I would have been in somebody jail if my car got hit again by the oncoming rocks from the kids in the apartments.
This has been a fairly good apartment for the past year. It isn't surrounded by buildings, so it doesn't have a "city" feel. It has three swimming pools which is great when they are open. However, for about 50% of the summer, they have been closed for several reasons. The gates never close, so it can't be considered a gated community. For the price, it's a great apartment.
