Property Ratings at Reserve At Miller Farm
We didn’t plan on renting but when we sold our house so quickly, we decided it was the best option. After owning a home for so many years we really weren’t sure about our rental options. We looked at many places in this area that were such poor quality for the price and just didn’t feel like a home. Then we found The Reserve at Miller Farm. Crystal was so welcoming, understanding and helpful. She answered all of our questions and helped us find the best suited living situation for our family’s needs. We’ve only been here a few months now but we are absolutely LOVING IT!! This place really feels like a community not just a temporary place to stay. The neighbors have been so welcoming and it is surprisingly quiet. Everyone in the office staff have been friendly and helpful. AND I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH about the maintenance staff!! Dave and the rest of the crew are always so polite and willing to help. Any issues we’ve had have been resolved in a timely manner. They are respectful of your wishes and they go above and beyond to make you comfortable in your home. The grounds are maintained beautifully and who doesn’t love having someone else do all of the shoveling and lawn work? It’s so nice to walk around the neighborhood and have tennis courts, a pool and exercise equipment right here on site. We only planned on staying here temporarily but as long as the staff remains the same … I see no reason to leave… I think we’ll be staying here for a while, it’s a nice place to call HOME.
The Reserve at Miller Farm is a hidden treasure. We recently sold our house after 36 years of owning a home. While seeking an apartment to move into, I stumbled across The Reserve at Miller Farm. I knew just by the name, I was going to love it . . . and I do! The Reserve is so clean and smells so good with impeccable groundkeeping outside. The appliances are amazing, the best dishwasher I have had in 36 years (except for me when I hand wash the dishes ?). The dishes come out crystal clear. The dog park is like sitting in a sanctuary. Edged in woods, I sit there on crisp cool days looking up to the beautiful blue fall skies, watching the birds and wildlife while my dog has the freedom to roam unleashed. The exercise room is outstanding with a little something for everyone. I can’t wait to use the beautiful pool next summer. The apartments are so sound proof with well thought floor plans. The rent is exceptional for all of the amenities. The staff is so courteous and kind, ready to step in when help is needed. I’m so excited to partake in my first sponsored monthly event that The Reserve offers. This place is FUN!! Check it out!

I lived at this property for 3 years. My apartment flooded 4 times over a 2 year period before the issue was resolved. When I moved in, the carpet smelled like cigarettes and pet urine. I was able to get them to replace it with new carpet. Upon moving out, they are billing me for "stains" in the carpet. I have an invoice of over $700 for carpet "stains." I never had one complaint against me in the 3 year period, I never missed or had a late payment. I kept my apartment and vehicles immaculate. Despite the complex allowing 2 dilapidated vehicles to sit inoperable for over a year, with cracked windshields, flat tires, broken mirrors, and rust everywhere.
The Reserve At Miller Farm is located in a nice area.....close to everything, but off the main roads, so it has a suburb-like quality. The grounds are taken care of well; the pool (although a bit small), clubhouse, gym are all very nice. Lots of children and dogs.......that would be good for some, but not for others. There does not seem to much "trouble" in the area, i.e. noise, break-ins, etc. The rent is pretty average for the Centerville area. I took a look at a lot of places nearby before I opted for Miller Farm. It definitely seemed the best. I have not really had any maintenance issues, so I cannot really make an informed comment on response times; however, the ladies in the office are all super nice, friendly, and courteous. My only drawback is that the appliances are a little out-dated (at least in my unit). I am sure they will slowly (if they are not already doing so) upgrade all the units' appliances, but as this is a large complex, I would think that would take some time.
If you are looking for lots if storage and great for plans this is the complex for you! The grounds are very very nicely taken care of. Beautiful trees and plants. Grass very well maintained and rarely see animal feces . Walk in closets in both bedrooms AND a big storage closet in second bedroom. Decent size laundry room and also has a kitchen pantry. Appliances getting a little older but maintenance quick to fix anythING broken. Complex close to everythING but back in the middle of a quiet beautiful bunch of homes.
I have lived here at the Reserve at Miller farm for seven years now. This is my first apartment after owning a home for thirty years and my dog and I enjoy the peaceful and well kept surroundings. The maintenance crew is great and very helpful. The apartments are spacious but I hope they consider doing some updating. I am disabled and the office staff have always been helpful when I've reached out. Location wise is very convenient to many stores and restaurants too.
