Property Ratings at Reserve at Rancho Belago
The new manager is rude and arrogant in a complex that has had several auto thefts to mailboxes being broken into, to where tenants have to go to the post office to get their mail. The last manager, Vickie was professional unlike the new manager who gives off a bad attitude. When dealing with a problem in a building where I pay money to live, I don't need an attitude. I expect support and kindness. The owners should really look into getting better security. I would rather see less hot dog/pizza events and more security.
My family and I lived in one of the property's 3 bedroom apts for almost 3 yrs until we moved to a house and would not recommend this apt complex to even our worst enemy! First, the walls and insullation are too thin. We could hear our neighbors tip toe, their TV, flush their toilet, listen to their conversations, and even their "private moments" as clear as watching the news on TV... Second, management office is lazy and unprofessional. To pay over $1700 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1123 sq ft apartment and have no privacy is ridiculous when you can rent a house for less than the price they charge. 2nd, our apt was infested with large spiders. We found them in the tub, bedrooms, and inside the light fixtures attached to the ceilings. We frequently had to have the apartment sprayed by the exterminator which reduced their numbers but every year during the spring season we had to be watchful for new sightings. 3rd, ALWAYS OPT FOR A 2ND FLOOR APT!!!!!!! inconsiderate neighbors will make your life here terrible. Since the walls are so thin and insullation is very bad.
I recently visited the Reserve at Rancho Belago, and I was pleasantly surprised. The customer service I received was outstanding, and the community is beautiful. Their two bedrooms are very open and spacious, the views are amazing, and they are starting to update several things throughout the complex. Once my current lease expires, I am hoping to make the Reserve my new home!
My first year at The Reserve was wonderful, staff was always prompt and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rent price was a little overboard at $1450 for 2 bed/bath, the new owners raised my rent $100 to $1550. The buildings are falling apart from the inside out. the walls are so thin you can hear everyone else business in the building. as of October 1st 2015 The Reserve sold to a huge property management corp. They only have one lady in the office and no one answers the phones. I am already beginning to see parts of the property not being maintained. The gym has no more cleaning supplies for the equipment, very dirty and stinks. that Bridge pans to run this place into the ground. Oh and you work the late shift and want to park good luck. The apartments A/C system is very inefficient and monthly electric is about $270 monthly in summer months. You only have one internet/tv provider Time Warner Cable, which goes out all the time. Oh and don't forget about those raccoons they run in packs of 10 or so and they are HUGE!!!!!! pricing(2 bed/2 bath)- rent-$1550 water/sewer/trash- $100 electric-$270 ( $150/winter) cable/internet/phone-$160 gas-$40 TOTAL-$2120!
Overall, The Reserve is a nice, clean property with great landscaping. My one and only complaint is that if you are not on the top level, you will hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the apartment above you. In my case, there are 2 adults and a child living in a one bedroom apartment above me. ALL day long, it's constant running, stomping, crying, screaming, etc- which does not provide for the most relaxing environment. No fault to management- they have tired to speak with the residents multiple times, but you can't change the fact that some people are just inconsiderate. Other than the neighbors above me, I enjoy living here! So my advice, if you decide to move here, go for the top level.
The reserve at rancho belago has been a great apartment to live . The minute I walked in you can see the difference in the complex compared to the surrounding apartments.
The Reserve at Rancho Belago Apartments are close to shopping and beautiful! I have a garage which is extremely convenient because there is limited parking for guests. One of the things that I absolutely love about my two bedroom is the bedrooms are on completely opposite sides of the apartment. The staff is extremely helpful and empathetic when there is an issue. They are fast when preparing and completing work orders. There is a very large pool and a decent size gym. The ceilings are high and I have crown molding and full size washer and dryers. If I had to complain the wall that connects to my neighbors next door seems very thin. If you get noisy inconsiderate neighbors you will be unhappy. I think that is the challenge with living in any apartment. Overall I have been happy here for the last 4 years.
These apartments are beautiful for the most part and well maintained on the OUTSIDE but have a lot of different issues, For one thing they are a bit high priced which I don't honestly see their justification for, they also suffer from extreme parking congestion, you would hope they would limit the amount of cars available to one household as well as maintain their rules for people per apartment but sadly they don't leaving you (if you are a two car family like most people) with nowhere to park due to people bringing in 6-7 people in a 2 bedroom apartment with the same amount of cars. Second getting things fixed here is horrible. Yes maintenance is fast and friendly but most of the time the thing that gets fixed are broken again not even weeks later! The structure of the apartments are also lacking, the walls are very thin so not only do I hear when my neighbors draw their bath but as well as when they walk down the stairs, play music , or decide to play FETCH IN THEIR APARTMENTS. Pro: It's near the local college, grocery store, and high school so if you don't mind the things listed above at least your located in a good spot. Con: Raccoons. GIANT RACCOONS.
