Property Ratings at Reserve at Stone Creek
I had a wonderful experience from application to move in. My leasing agent was very welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to help us get moved in. We've been here a few weeks and things seems to be going well so far. I'll give an update after we've been here longer.
BEWARE ~ My wife and I moved into this complex in early December of 2022, it's almost May of 2023 and we haven't been allowed to sleep for a single night due to the noise coming from our upstairs neighbors. They also consider our backyard to be their personal landfill and throw trash out every day. I've addressed this with management on a weekly basis and have only been told "We're taking the proper procedures to address this issue" AND "You are free to vacate but will forfeit your security deposit and owe 2 month's rent per the lease." Not to mention the frequency with which people just dump their trash in the road and the gun shots heard on a daily basis. BEWARE
With this being my first apartment, I didn’t have a lot of expectations. The leasing process was easy and smooth but the moment I got my keys I quickly realized what a mistake I signed up for. Firstly, the walls are super thin. I can hear my next-door and upstairs neighbors having conversations and walking into the next room which is a nightmare considering I have a child, and it wakes her up CONSTANTLY. Next, be prepared to put in maintenance request every single week. There is serious plumbing, mold, insect and heating issues. Lastly, to top it all off my car was stolen from in front of my building without a trace, but this is a so-called “gated” community. And for bonus points, I returned home one night and was caught in the middle of a shoot out in front my buildings parking lot and had to hide behind my car until the dust settled. Please look elsewhere if you have any common sense!
Mold in the outside closet, everything is painted over to make it look good, rent is too high for all the inconveniences in and outside the unit. To each its own.
The maintenance crew has improved . There is a new guy named “E” he was professional and friendly. Went above & beyond. Keep up the good work.
Destiny in the leasing office and her staff have always been excellent with dealing with everything I need living here.
The only thing good about this place is the maintenance service. They do respond quickly. Since I’ve moved in here there has been issue after issue. Fleas, ticks, gnats, mice out in the outside corridors, stray cats at your front door, unattractive sight of piled up garbage, random gun shots at night and not to mention the lack of hot water when I shower. This was my first choice when I moved from NY but I regret it tremendously. They sell you on the show room and allow you to think that’s what all the units look like but it’s definitely NOT. I’m so tired of writing complaints it’s exhausting. My main issue I can’t get hot water for a decent shower for more than 7 minutes. And yes, I have timed myself while showering. They literally just put paint over the walls and cupboards to make it look as if everything is brand new. Think 2x before renting a unit here. I totally made a mistake being in a rush and taking the first thing I saw. Can’t wait to GET OUT
I had the pleasure of living there while buying my first home the office staff was amazing Sonia took amazing care of my family. Sherman in maintenance never disappointed my service calls. I will miss you guys immensely.
A wolf in sheep’s clothing! The front office is the nicest thing here! It- along with the gated community and the pool in the front are going to lure you in. The office staff are always nice, polite, quick, efficient! But they are the gate keepers to hell! Nice people-very professional! But they don’t live here either! Typical apartment. Little-overpriced! Trash everywhere -always, stray animals everywhere (had to call a specialist to get rid of fleas), domestic disputes, gunshots, your packages come up missing, maintenance will definitely JUST walk in your house unannounced, lots of speeding etc. Honestly, the only thing this place is good for is a start to realize you can do better! Don’t sign a lease for over a year! Stay focused and find better! I know you’re anxious to find a place..but you get what you pay for here! Don’t let the 4-5 stars fool you! If you like it-love it...then that says a lot about you!
I’ve been living here just under a year and I will be happy to renew my lease at The Reserve for another year. My apartment is very spacious and a great value for the price. The office staff has worked well with me whenever I had questions or concerns. I haven’t had very many issues with my apartment since moving in but the issues I have had were addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. Sonia, Carla, and Calvin are all great to work with!
Property Manager at Reserve at Stone Creek, Responded To This Review
Thank you! We're so happy to see living at The Reserve at Stone Creek has been such a fantastic experience! We hope to continue providing you with exceptional service for many years to come. That being said, please feel free to stop by the office or give us a ring if you ever require assistance with anything. Thanks again and take care!
Carla is very professional and outstanding with communicating. Always willing to help no matter the circumstances. Tom in maintenance; is time sufficient and well mannered entering someone’s home. He gets the job done and leaves no mess behind and willing to make sure everything else in the apartment is okay as well. Thank You!
Staff is cool. Black appliances are nice. Too many maintenance issues to give this place a two-star review.
I've been a resident at the Reserve for 2yrs. First time ever living in an apartment and so far no regrets. New management is is truly making a difference with offering new things for the residents. Tonight was the 1st Zumba class it was great. Thank you Reserve for helping its residents get fit and healthy in 2019 for free.
AS A NEW RESIDENT HERE I DID MY DUE DILIGENCE AND SAW ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS COMMUNITY AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS HESITANT TO MOVE HERE, I COULD TELL THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS DOING ALL THE CAN TO GET THE NEGATIVE STIGMA AWAY FROM THE COMPLEX. I WORKED WITH JANIELLE AND SHE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SO ASK FOR HER WHEN YOU GO. EVEN THOUGH AT THE TIME SHE WAS NEW WORKER IN THE OFFICE, SHE DID HER RESEARCH TO FIND ME A GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL UPGRADED UNIT AND THEIR RENT RATES ARE REASONABLY PRICED FOR THE AREA.
I CAUTION potential renters! Do not rent from the The Reserve at StoneCreek. The apartments are overpriced. I have lived in this property since 2010. Each year the property has declined more and more. The complex changed ownership every few years and does not provide the new information. The office staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional and incompetent. For some reason, they feel the need to let the tenant know how short staffed they are. Maintenance is decent if they can stay staffed! Amenities are far few and between. Fitness facility is hit or miss. The swimming pool and tennis courts are never open. Apartments/townhomes are overpriced. Rent at your own risk!!!!!
I entered the Reserve at Stone Creek doors and was greeted with the biggest smile from one desk and the largest frown from another. Secretly I was praying that the young lady who smiled was going to be my leasing agent and atlas my prayer worked LOL Her name was either Monica or Marshall I feel really bad I don't remember but I tell you what. She was hands on with me very informative and answered all 4748202 of my questions. I really enjoyed my experience as well as my living space. Thanks again Reserve at Stone Creek
I lived there for a few months with a none working stove top or oven. No matter how many times I went to the office to tell them it took forever for them to just replace it after replacing random parts that probably weren't the issue. Finally came 5 months and it was replaced; then it was June and the pool still wasn't open. When it finally opened it was filthy, so we never got to used it. By the end of June was robbed at gun point outside my apartment with my 1 year old daughter and 14 year old niece BY A RESIDENT!!!! (Supposedly) so they said they weren't responsible because it's a gated community. The gate never worked.
I have lived at the Reserve at Stone Creek since March 2010. I like the community and it is convenient to my job. When I moved into the community, they offered a car wash (no longer available) and the fitness center was open longer and accessible through the pool instead of only going through the office. I would like to see extended hours in the fitness center. Also, I love the secure gate but I think the system needs to be improved. Security only enforces it during the day. At night, the gate is open to anyone. Overall, I enjoy living here.
I absolutely love my apartment. It is my first apartment living alone and I feel completely safe and comfortable. I love the friendly and helpful staff and the amenities. I would love for them to do more community events but other than that I cannot complain.
VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE, RUDE RUDE RUDE. When you are a "future resident" they are nice until you sign that paper they treat you like trash! i hate this place and would never recommend it, oh and my sister lived here a couple months before me, she broke her lease because they stole her tires and that same night a bullet flew through her sons bedroom window. PLUS RESIDENTS ALWAYS ALWAYS RUN THEIR CARS THROUGH THE GATES AT THE FRONT.
Gunshots every other night Security sucks Mold and Mildew Management don't care. Complex unkept Dangerous breed dogs off leaches Cats stand guard at the trash compactor meet you at your car. I couldn't take it anymore!
Ive been stayin here for almost 2 years , i had centipedes an spiders at first better then having roaches, so i was in love, no place is perfect, i stay in a 1 bdrm my area is pretty chill an quiet yea you hear people outside argue every blue moon thats normal, i hate that they only have the pool up front open it gets very crowded an the inside pool which is suppose to be heated is cold as idk what, i had problems afyer i renewing my lease an they weren't on their job called me 3xs sayin i need to renew an i did already an when they switched over properties management an my balance was in the negatives an didnt tell me an tried to over charge me but i call corporate on them an gotten it straighten out, i heard stories after i moved in the only areas that i know is probably a problem area is 2 bdrm area you see people hangout side alot nothing wrong with it but it makes you think what kind of company they bring ,an maybe 3 bdrm thats in a different section so i dont know what goes on over there, the only reason im really moving i need more space an a 2 bdrm here aint gone cut it, an its my childs first year of school an i dont not like the school system or how most of the female an some male staff act or talk to the kids an you cant just pop up an check on yo child to make sure they acting right they want you to set up an appointment, also who ever they been moving in lately an in my building cuz im starting to get roaches an i just cant deal, an i keep my house very cold, an when it was off an it got warm inside i didnt see bugs, now i see them so i know its whoever just moved in, i seen someone complain about trash ive only seen the trash over flowing probably 4 to 6 times out of the almost 2 years i been here an sometimes its not the complex its the county i work for QT an we have that same problem
If I could afford to break my lease I would! There is a true lack of concern for residents living at this property, they are only concerned about rent money and getting their numbers up with as little effort from them to maintain it. There have been 3 shootings since I've been here with no correspondence from the office informing residents about them or what is being done to make it a safe "neighborhood." Maintenance requests are closed whether the work is completed or not! The gates are finally working but the "security guards" allow some cars to go through if the line gets too long or if the conversation is nice enough. The leasing agents, except Kalelah(pardon me if I spelled your name wrong) are not the most pleasant and why would they be when the leasing manager has a dismissive, nonchalant, and sour attitude herself.
I would advise anyone looking for an apartment not to rent here. We have not been here for a month an we are going to break the lease. 3 days ago all four tires were stolen off out car an we went to the office an they said oh they are not responsible for what happens on their property. One of the ladies at the office told me that is why you have renters insurance, but renters insurance only covers your apartment and not your car. They still won't tell me who is responsible for the property. Yesterday my husband and I heard gunshots out our bedroom window. We have a gate that doesn't not go down at all so anyone can come in cause the security guard doesn't check people before they go though the gate. They leave early so no one is at the gate. You tell the office and they are like we'll they are not suppose to be at the 24/7. Another thing of we had seen the bullet hole in my son's bedroom window before we rented we would not have signed at all. We were rushed to look at our apartment before we signed. They told us that it would be ready to look at a week after we did our application and it took to weeks and the day before we signed the lease. We were taken to the apartment and rushed around so we couldn't look at everything in the apartment before we signed. I don't understand why there is a gate if they let anyone in. a the guards don't check to see where the person is going to. Please don't come here is you value your life and your families.
I went already giving the property the benefit of the doubt after reading all the reviews, but now I can say is spare yourself the headache and disappointment. The property is thoroughly misrepresented. Even the photos you see on this page aren't actual. They bait and switch you into believing that you're getting something amazing for the price and in actuality it is less than safe because the "courtesy officer" waives everyone through because the gate is broken. You can't use the amenities because the property is "waiting on parts to come in".... The walls are paper thin..... People do drugs on the property. The potholes will have you riding on your rims and the staff is less than professional. Just save yourself the trouble and skip over this one.
The apartment is in a great location, its in walking distace to stores and restaurants. The apartment complex comes with great amenties such as l an indoor and out door pool, security guards and spacioius floorplans. Unlike other apartments the management companies try there best to get work orders done in a timely matter. They also made it easy to pay rent with there online pay system.Oh, the price for the apartment is very afforable for the space. The only thing I have a problem with is the carpentry in the apartment. The nails in the carpet alwways ripe my socks. I cant wear no shoes hardly. But, I will defintely recommend the apartment.
It too expensive for me to pay . And too much problems over there..
When I first found this apartment complex I thought it was going to be wonderful. The person I spoke to was very nice and seemed caring. I won't mention any names. We moved in our place in April of 2015. My husband and I were told that the broken gate that was to secure the complex was going to be fixed soon, it has not been fixed. Although they have better security guards now then when we first moved in. The playground that we were told was going to be fixed has not been touched or even thought about. My son can not even go outside to play and is forced to stay inside unless he wants to risk possibly getting run over by all the other people driving extremely fast through the complex. My son is 2 years old mind you. If it's not the cars to worry about it's the trash and broken glass in our little "backyard" area, not to mention crazy insects. Our unit is littered with millipedes and gnats. Which management has yet to do anything about. They say that they will put you on a list for pest control then you're magically not on it. Our cabinet doors are falling off and its been almost a month and they just say they are waiting on parts to come fix it. The air conditioning system has broken three times and they come slap a bandaid on it so they don't have to replace it. It still only moderately cools our unit off. Not to mention when we moved in the system ran for three days straight even though we had the system turned off inside. Turns out it was frozen over and when maintenance finally came and turned it completely off water ended up all over our tile floor from it defrosting. The staff never returns phone calls. You have to constantly call up there to get anything done. They all have an attitude and even if you pay your rent on time you still recieve notices that you're late. Plus they refuse to write a receipt of proof that you paid rent in case they ever lose track of your payment and try to tell you that you never paid. Which happened to me, yes. Gunshots can be heard through the complex regularly. Oh, did I forget to mention that your water is a flat rate? Yes, we pay an extra $85 dollars on our rent each month for water for a two bedroom unit consisting of 2 adults and 1 small child. At least you can use all the water you want right? Let's not forget that if maintenance misses one day of compacting the trash at the only TWO trash compactors the garbage literally over flows into the street. There are many more problems as well.
Reserve at Stone creek is a wonderful place to life. The staff is wonderful and also very helpful. The apartment complex is very large with multiple apartments. For the most part it is a quiet area to live in. The apartments are spacious and well put together.
