Located along Interstate 680, Weisman/ North Oaks is a suburban neighborhood just 15 miles northwest of Downtown Omaha. There is an array of local restaurants, fast food chains, and grocery stores nearby. Renters can easily take a trip downtown to visit the popular Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium or stay late to enjoy the lively nightlife. Located along the eastern corner of the neighborhood is North Oaks Park, a family-friendly area equipped with a playground and plenty of green space for picnics. There are a variety of low-cost apartments and single-family homes available for rent in Weisman/ North Oaks.

Property Ratings at Residences at Fox Pointe
Residences at Fox Pointe was my first, and sadly, my last apartment experience. Through my time here, I have learned that apartment living is not for me. I am extremely sensitive to noise so I will unfortunately have to move to ensure my mental sanity. That being said, you won't find a better deal than what you will get here. You are literally a minute or less away from the interstate. Walmart and Hy-Vee are minutes away. And I swear that the QT down the street always seems to have the lowest gas price in Omaha. If you have issues, you can reach out to Dan, the manager/owner and he will try to find a solution for your issue. He will work with you as long as it is within reason. If you have maintenance issues, Tony, the maintenance manager, is amazing. He is a really humble guy. Last Winter, my wife's car got stuck in front of our garage and he helped shovel it out. He is a class-act. Seriously though, for the price, it just doesn't get any better. Just be strongly advised that if you are sensitive to noise like I am, apartment living might not be for you. But that's ANY apartment and not this one in particular.
This place is awesome. Dan, the manager, is great. When we first moved in, our up-stair neighbor was very noisy and disrespectful. My husband told Dan and he took care of it immediately. Whereas my friend at a different place had a similar issue; he complaint and his manager pretty much ignored it. He got so mad and had to move out. Every time I put in maintenance request; they handle it within a day or two. The rent is super affordable. We had to move out of state; if not, we would not go anywhere else. Thanks Dan.
Deer Creek took over about 6 months after I moved in. I am so thankful they did, it was like night and day. Deer Creek actually cares about the property; they keep it clean and respond timely to maintenance requests. When I had a slow drain or sink issue they came right away. Great location right off the interstate!! I appreciate their attention to the property and my apartment needs. Thank You!!
