From the moment I moved in, I've had issues. I have been here 6 months. The day I moved in there were holes in the wall in the bathroom and in the living room ceiling and paint overspray on everything (including the fire alarm which is a code violation)and the painters left equipment in the unit. Issues getting the blinds installed, kitchen cabinet coming off the wall, washing machine was broken before I moved in, ceiling fan, fire alarm issues in the entire complex going off for weeks, elevator broken, bugs in my bathroom and they wont spray the apartment because i have a pet, etc etc... issue after issue. MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THE PARKING GARAGE, the leasing office was not helpful or cooperative with me or the police. I have been waiting about two months now for the property management company to get in touch with me but they have not reached out at all. The adjacent shopping mall has rampant crime, I see windows busted out every weekend. Since before my car was stolen access to the property has been open, you need a fob in some areas to access the building but not in any location near my unit since they are BROKEN. The leasing office staff are friendly enough BUT has been under staffed and with the management company change it has been a nightmare. Nobody ever answers the phone if you call the leasing office and they leave the sign on the door saying they are giving a tour but I sat in the lobby for over half and hour the other day and a tour doesn't take that long. I will say the maintenance guy is very friendly and did his best to get things taken care of but still for the money I pay, I shouldn't be having issues like this. Not to mention the fact my car was stolen because security is a JOKE.

Management does not respond to emails or calls when they have wrongfully charged you fees but is quick to hound you when you are in the wrong (no apologies when they prove to be mistaken) do not even think of getting deliveries half go to wrong building/apt and the other half can't even get in to deliver. If they do make it in the building front desk get rude when things are dropped off and the 'luxury' package lockers you pay monthly fees for are usually full or broken and no one alerts you if a package was left in the hallway. AC units break down during the summer and maintenance is on call but never anywhere near. And no one tells you when water will be shut off for repairs, they did finally fix the fire alarms but if a big storm hits they all go off and you spend the next few days listening to them get reset

Overpriced lemon apartments I wouldn't stay there again. Made as many units and then overpriced the rent for these.

Where do I begin with this apartment? I was so excited to be living here however the horrid management made me think otherwise. The appliances included in the apartments are subpar, which was the least of my problems, unfortunately. I had taken a vacation out of the country and made sure to pay my rent on time only to find that when I came back, I had multiple calls from the Residences stating that I had never paid rent for that month. I went to the front office with a receipt in my hands of my paid rent on time only to find out that the office had taken my check and applied it to another resident living at the apartment complex- all the while telling me that I had not paid my rent on time and giving me a "warning". I'm sure if I had not kept my receipt from the bank, stating that I had paid my rent, the apartment complex would have denied everything. The next headache was when I was moving out of the apartment. The office told me that I could leave my cable box and they would return it. This was a lie. It turns out, they never returned it. They said that they would take care of it but instead, I ended up a bill of $350 because of this. I tried to contact the office however they said that they could no longer help me (even though they admitted that this has happened many times before) and that it was my own fault even though their office had assured me that the cable box would be returned. Although the amenities are beautiful, I would never return to this apartment complex. I have never had so much trouble with an apartment office as I did here. Thank god I moved out.
This is the best apartment I've lived in by far. The location is amazing, the apartments are gorgeous, and it's a peaceful and quiet environment. Lots of amenities and extras make this apartment stand out from the rest. While they are pricey, they are worth the cost. Lots of apartments say they are luxury but fail to live up to that promise. We will be renewing our lease soon!
The residences at la cantera are a great place to live. Living there you are close to many attractions and they have great amenities located within. The employees are always nice and understanding. Highly recommended!
