Property Ratings at Residences at Lakeside
Found mold in air conditioner vents when moving out. Was crawling up the wall behind my dresser. Management hung up on me when I complained. On site managers have misled us about how much we owe. They will end up with one months rent and our security deposit because of their filth. Several others have reported on mold and said they replace vents but don’t correct the mold. It has caused us upper respiratory illnesses and so much stress. Avoid this place at all costs. mold in air conditioner vents when moving out
I lived here for 1 year and recently moved out. Work orders were rarely completed but were marked as complete in the online system. I had water running down my walls for 7 weeks before I finally got someone in to fix it. I had to go to the office and file complaints that nothing had been done 6 times before anyone actually showed up to fix it. The drywall was rotting and falling apart, and they just sealed the edges without replacing it or painting it. So I was left with stained and rotting walls the rest of my time there. Additionally, the property is dirty and there is little to no enforcement of pet rules. Peoples dogs defecated inside the stairwell and all over the grass near the door without being picked up. The doors and elevators are constantly broken. The property does nothing about the package theft problems. There are no cameras. Frankly, for a "luxury" apartment, it was the worst community i've ever been a part of.
I've tried to post before but it isn't showing. The good reviews here are from 2015/2017. This place is not taken care of at all. Constant new management comes in takes cash and moves on. No one fixes mold, water issues or leaks. Poor staff know nothing and seem to prefer that. There's got to be better out there.
Honestly not sure where to begin. Well, apparently they have a large number of listings on this website. However, when you come in for a viewing, they have no apartments available. Sure, the amenities catch your eyes but they are for show. The game room is open during the admin business hours and closed on Sundays. So if you have a full time job, you'll be paying for something you cant use. The gym is exceptionally tiny, smells, and is at a comfortable 90 degrees. Up side is that access to all of this is a meager $78 a month. As for the apartments themselves. They are not at all what they appear to be based on the pictures. Holes in the walls, exposed lights, light switches that do not work. At least the ceilings are good for movie nights (popcorn). What is even more comical is that the complex has a zero tolerance on smoking in the units. The individual showing the apartments went on about this policy. However, the very first experience we had walking into a building was a very potent smell of a tenant smoking cannabis. When confronted about the smell, the admin office ensured us that they are "aware" of the problem and doing "all they can." Lastly, if youre over 6 feet, enjoy walking around this complex. The hallways are very short and this stays true once in the units. Very claustrophobic. All in all, for the cost of the rent, the hidden fees, you are by far better off looking for a different unit. Nothing about this complex based off their listing seems to remain true once youre there in person. Avoid this complex.
I'm not sure why they have 4.9 stars as a review. They are horrible at communication and are only looking to steal your money. They will charge you an application fee and $400 holding deposit that you will not get back. It's more of a $400 fee for them to keep for no reason. They will consistently reassure you over the phone that you will receive your $400 back if you do not decide to rent with them, but then send you their welcome letter that you have to sign that says they will not refund your $400 fee. The leasing office is just full of liars who think they can smooth talk you by telling you that you'll receive your $400 back and then pretend like they never told you that. Live anywhere else but here.
Please look at all other sites that residences at lakeside is reviewed. Not sure why this one has good reviews because trust me, I would not recommend. If I could give them a zero rating I would. I have never had a worst experience with Management and Maintenance in my whole entire life. If I were to explain my experience the last three years I would have to write an essay I have had mouse infestation‘s, mold, several things broken down, and etc. please save yourself a headache
I’m giving first hand information. Do not rent here. It looks beautiful on the outside at the clubhouse only. Have lived here for 3 years. And we are leaving only due to the neglect and disregard for any issues. Our guest toilet has been clogged at the main for 6 months. Every week I call and email and put a maintenance request in. No response. They came twice said need a plumber we will send one and nothing. Our rent was raised with other tenants $250 a month for amenities. Which we cannot use. The pool is pretty but they refuse to turn heaters on so it’s ice cold and filthy. Hair floating. You pay for parking yet the lot has gaping pits all over for over a year. Damage was done to my car and have filed claims to no avail. In a pit 1 foot deep and 6 feet wide. So drive through and know this would be your life. Forever The units. Well don’t get me started. Look closely at the updates. It is not luxury living. It’s filth. Under the paint and facade. And they will never ever make it better. I am sad to write this but staff all of the sudden was gone. Quit. Now nobody to do anything so you can’t use the clubhouse or get maintenance because everyone left. QUIT. First hand knowledge. Had they responded at all in any way I would never write a bad thing about this home that would have been a long term home. Just save your energy and money moving. Go elsewhere.
DO NOT DO IT!!! Girl in the office basically guesses all of the answers if you have questions and her favorite word is I don’t know. Management lied about units being available just to hold your $400 and they approve you right away so once your approved or denied you don’t get the money back. I was not given my lease until 30 mins to move in where i was told i had 35 mins to read it or I will be fined. I came in to see the unit because i could not do so in the months leading to move in due to the office and their lies. The ceiling needs to be repaired, a/c and heat out dated and doesn’t work it’s rigged with a vent taped together so heat can blow in the room. Everyone in the office gives you the run around. Do not do it!
Pool and clubhouse are nice so the units are not. High utility costs (around 80 a month for water, pest control, garbage, etc). Your living room and dining room are basically a part of the hallway noise-wise. to top it off, I am on day 12 trying to get my rent prorated because their portal does not know how to deal with people that are moving out in the middle of the month. I have accumulated hundreds of dollars in late fees while I wait for my portal to be updated. I think this my be standard operating procedure to get the most money they can out of people that are moving out.
They don’t return security deposit and will ignore you any chance they get.
I lived here for 5yrs and it was just ok. When I was there the apartments were outdated at the time, but I’ve heard that they’ve updated all the units and the clubhouse. I feel the rent is too much for a place that doesn’t have covered parking.
We signed this lease sight unseen nearly a year ago. It was a HUGE mistake. There were broken fixtures, paint on the floor, adhesive from the vinyl flooring being placed too quickly and not carefully, MISSING cabinet doors and paint and stickers and grease on all the outlets and mirrors. All the doors, cabinets, baseboard and window sills are painted with latex paint-meaning they will stick to anything you put against or on them. they used proper paint on the cabinets- but they just painted over old distorted cabinets with heavy water damage and did not paint the underside of the cabinets like they did in the show apartment, so bits of HDF material would dust my countertops, and flake off the insides of the cabinets because they didn't finish painting them properly. The bathrooms' vanity and tile and tube are all Epoxy painted, and they painted over the caulking, grout and fixtures (drains). When you place a maintenance request it could be several weeks before they show up, and then they do so unannounced. The maintenance crew, painting, and cleaning people are all separate companies and so none of them communicate with one another and so they don't fix their issues properly. The trash is also an issue- there are three dumpsters in a room near the main entrance to the building and only the first one becomes full- and so people just leave their trash on the sidewalk and doors leading to the room. bags get broken and there is constant trash and garbage strewn in front of and to the side of the building entrance. The stove is not ceramic/glass top- Its regular coil stove and it sucks to clean. This is far from luxury living. The only luxury thing is the clubhouse and it is two buildings from my apartment. Oh and the pool is only open from 11am-7pm 2nd week of June-August.
This is by far the worst place I have ever lived in. DO NOT GET TRICKED BY THE NICE PICTURES OF THE POOL AND LEASING OFFICE! I would not recommend to anyone. They allow pets, but no enforcement on picking up after their dog. There is very few doggy stations to throw away the your dogs poop if you are the few people who choose to pick it up. They charge 17 dollars a month for garbage removal, however, the garbage room is constantly over following creating a huge eye sore and an awful odor for anyone who walks into the building. My packages are constantly stolen (3 within 1 month) and when I contacted the leasing officer I was told it was not their problem since package delivery is not in the lease. The units themselves are garbage as well. Washer and dryer are out dated and make a ridiculous mount of noise. I have had my ceiling leak on 2 separate occasions (I don't live on the top floor so not sure how this is even possible.) The rack in my dishwasher is too small and list continues. If you want to live in a place where you cannot have any mail delivered, have to watch for dog poop every step you take, and live in a unit where the bare minimum is done before re-leasing, then this is the place for you. Counting down the days until my lease is up.
The staff is completely unprofessional and they lied to us upon moving in. Also if safety is a concern than note they are terrible at snow and ice removal. They also have a room dedicated to Amazon deliveries that is not monitored so any one with a key can go in and take packages as they are usually just on the floor. They also seem to lose my renters insurance policy every couple of months and threaten to fine me even though I remain in compliance.
This place has horrible management, office workers who do not care about you, maintenance requests go unnoticed for months at a time. The lights outside our building went out and were not fixed for over a year, was dangerous walking to the back entrance to our building from lack of light, also they had a broken light fixture with exposed wires for over a year. Broken front door constantly needing fixing. They care more about the look of the hallways and main office to deceive potential buyers into thinking the apartments are nice. They are not. Also, apartments shown during initial appointment visits may look nothing like the apartment you end up renting. Rent is way too high and will continue to go up every year. Water bill and other utilities are absurdly priced as well. Bottom line, I’m glad to be out of there. Do not rent here!!!!!
They changed their name and management company but it's still the same principal owners. They make cosmetic changes to hide the issues they have with the infrastructure, such as: leaking roofs, mold from AC/Heating unit, electrical issues, elevators never working, faulty appliances, constantly broken security doors. Their maintenance is so inundated with requests along with some incompetence which mean it could take weeks before they get to an issue, if at all. They charge a premium price for such poor quality housing. The only positive reviews I've ever seen from this place comes from fake profiles or people given a discount on a months rent to write positive reviews. Check out their reviews on other pages you will find it's pretty poor. Stay away!
Do not get fooled by the looks of Sample Apartments. Actual apartment handed over looks like slum. Beware !
I just recently signed a lease with a friend of mine. We were told there were no units of the particular model available to show, so Dustin showed us a unit he said was similar. It was pretty nice and we agreed to sign the lease. We had 6 weeks until our move in date. We were told it they were totally renovating the apartment, putting in new floors, all new appliances, etc. Well, yesterday was our move in date and we walked into our "renovated" apartment that was absolutely disgusting. There was significant water damage in the bathrooms as well as mold. The cooling units are very outdated and inefficient and the outlets and light switches hadn't been changed in years. They were dark yellow and some broken, and splattered with paint as well. We also found dead bugs in the other bathroom cabinet. The worst past was under the sink. The pipes were leaking and there was mold and what looked like rotten food in there. One of the kitchen cabinets also had a lot of mold inside. Also, the dryer was probably 25 years old, rusted out on the inside, and looked like a fire hazard. The washer had not been cleaned and had dried up fabric softener and dust all over. I took a bunch of pictures and went to the leasing office, broke the lease immediately, and demanded my money back. On a positive note, they did in fact honor my request and I did get my money back. I am calling them tomorrow to get a formal document that states I no longer have any financial obligations on that lease. I was deceived at the beginning and do not trust them not to attempt to collect money from me. Seriously horrible. Do not move there. It is dirty and full of mold. Don't risk your health or your time!
Avoid this place at all costs. It is over priced and horribly mismanaged. Trying to work with management or maintenance on anything is an absolute nightmare.
I just got done paying an amount that was sent to collections. It is now april 2019. I moved out of clover creek in may of 2018. I only got the letter because i put in a mail forwarding request two weeks ago to my new address looking for other pieces of mail. There were 3 names on the lease. Three people they could have called and never did. They sent us to collections 11 MONTHS AFTER WE MOVED OUT AND GAVE THE COLLECTIONS PEOPLE OUR CONTACT INFORMATION AS BEING THE ADDRESS AT CLOVER CREEK THAT WE VACATED AKA DID NOT LIVE AT ANYMORE. We NEVER would have known about it until it had advanced for no reason and had to have been hunted down. I would have paid any amount owing IF I HAD ONLY KNOWN I OWED IT. There was one very nice helpful young lady who worked in the rental office during our time there who i hope to god has moved on to better things. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone for the time we were there even after new ownership took over. The window frames are metal and let all of the chicago cold in from the middle of fall until May even when layered with plastic and needed to be supplemented with a space heater at all hours at great expense. We renewed our lease more than once in time to qualify for free carpet cleaning that never happened. The people in our building took our packages more than once, opened them, and then left them by the elevator when they didnt find anything of any value. I collected packages from the office itself that were pried open by other residents and witness people prowling at christmas time looking for package drops from amazon near the office door. Just dont.
This place is terrible. We’ve been here for over 4 years and the water bill has increased every single month for the last like 2 years! We are paying more in water and sewage than my parents who have a house 4 times the size of our unit with twice as many people living there. There is clearly some sort of dishonesty going on with the water. Even after we “switched water companies to save money” a year or two ago, the cost increased by over 30%. The elevators are constantly broken and even when they are fixed they are absolutely filthy. The wallpaper in the elevator has been torn off for almost a year now with profanities and drawings all over it. It is embarrassing to have anyone over. The trash chute rooms are always filled with trash because it is always backed up. There is constantly the smell of weed in the hallways. They try to sneak extra costs into your lease when you resign. They mail room is a joke. They say that you need an ID to pick up a package, but they just let anyone into the mail room to rummage through and find whatever they like. 3 management companies in three years is a joke. And now we are having 9 million dollars of revnovations... sure. No wonder our water bills are absolutely horrifying. Oh and when you go to renew your lease, no matter how many years you’ve been here or how little problems you have caused, they will try to raise your rent an obnoxious amount. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT live here. Go anywhere else. I’d give it zero stars if I could. This is your warning.
Management: Lots of reviews say management is a mess, completely disorganized. I have to agree.I have called, gotten a manager, they assure me they will monitor and make sure my problem it is handled. Surprise it is still not handled. Also, they do not keep track of packages you get delivered. They throw everything into a small room and let you sift through at least 100 packages without helping and you could take anything and they wouldn't double check that it is yours. Buildings: this is a family/pet friendly complex which is cool. There is a small dog park, tennis courts, soccer field and pool. The uncool thing is that the walls are paper thin. When I first moved here, I would hear my neighbors coming home and literally think my own apartment was being broken into. You can hear everything.Keys, footsteps, voices, lots of dogs barking. I always know when the people above me are home or walking anywhere in their apartment. There are also cigarette butts all over the ground along with dog poop. Work orders: They have this guarantee that everything will be handled within 48 hours, that is a lie. In the winter one of the tubs clogged, like two minutes in the shower and water is past your ankles clogged. I put in a work order and this was not addressed for over a MONTH. I would call and be told the work order was closed and handled. When something is handled, there is a printed work order on the counter signed by a worker. There was never this documentation. I called every day for a week before it was actually handled, even after a manager said she would make sure it was done the next day. With this new year at the place, we have now had a much worse issue for over a month. I put in a work order for the same issue five times. Our garbage disposal would gurgle up other peoples food and sink water from throughout the building from their disposals (we do not use our garbage disposal) every day and our sinks were disgusting. Every day for four days there was a signed work order on the counter, yet the same thing was happening. They finally realized on the fifth day that we were not making it up. They called in plumbers who drilled a literal hole in the concrete under the carpet. Our entire living room was a mess. Carpet ripped up, kitchen table and chairs moved and the plumbers left patio and front doors unlocked for when they left. That was two weeks ago and all of the holes they drilled and broke in the walls are still not completely fixed after multiple calls.
The appliances, kitchen and bathrooms are outdated. The grounds are not maintained like they use to be. This is our third management team in three years (red flag). The front door doesn’t lock right, the garbage room reeks into the filthy hallways, the elevator is always broken... The management just make broken promises. Run don’t walk away from this place! Important: Ask how they figure your water bill out; what formula they use.
I moved out on 9/28 and have been fighting to get my deposit back ever since. The deposit statement had an error and was corrected 2 weeks after I moved out. I've been promised repeatedly that the check would be here in 10 days at least 4 times now. It's going on 90 days since I have moved out and still no check. Stay away and deal with a reputable company ........
I went in to ask about a 1 bedroom and the representative said there weren't any to show; OK, I asked to look at whatever was available to get a general feel for the building. She denied me and didn't even offer any information about the apartments, such as what floor plans look like or application fees or anything. She was very rude and made me feel like I was bothering her. Any other apt representative would have at least sat down with me and discussed the details of the apartment, even if there wasn't one to show. Very, very rude. And the place is expensive for what it looks like. A lot of sketchy people around and I wonder how they can afford to live there. Not a good first impression at all.
The worst customer service, manager Rachel was unhelpful on the phone. The worst experience ever! Don't move in here.

I just moved out of there. Where do I start. first of all when I moved in there my apt was listed as not renovated, which was fine because it satisfied my needs. When my lease was signed to renew, all of a sudden, it changed to a renovated unit. I don't know when they did the renovations because I was still there. Also I was told if I signed the lease early, my carpet would be cleaned. Mind you, after 12 months, my carpet still hasn't gotten clean yet. I was told they wouldn't renew my lease because of my payment history, mind you, my rent was always paid each month & if it was late, I paid all of the late charges in full. I asked could I get out of my lease 1 month early because I had found a nicer place & they told me know but keep in mind, I just looked on the website (not even 10 days from the date I turned in my keys) & they have listed the apt. This would've been my 3rd year there & in 3 years, they have changed management companies 3 times! If I requested for anything to be fixed, it took them at least 1 week to repair. The hallways are always nasty. The garbage area on the floor is horrible! There is always a urine smell everywhere. I tried to put some air freshener in the hallways but that didn't help the smell. The elevators, when working) are always filthy (except for around 8:30 in the AM). The exercise room is creepy & machines hardly works. The pool is nasty & filthy (always green). To top all these off, when I moved out they told me I had to schedule a walk through with the property mgr for sometimes the following week but when I went into the office, the property mgr was in the office with the rest of the staff laughing & giggling (which I have on video). This is a horrible place to stay! Please be warned....The rent will go up tremendously! Before considering this place, please look elsewhere! Everything that glitters isn't gold & this sure wasn't gold!

I recently moved to Clover Creek in November. I worked with Josalynne; she was extremely helpful in making this move seamless. The building is kept clean and the apartment is updated.

The apartments are disgusting, management takes forever to fill in work orders, the trash hasn't been taken out in 2 weeks and the garbage shute fills up frequently. Snow barely gets shoveled. Did I mention the floors are disgusting and the elevator always smells like urine. Been living here for 2 years because of contract and can safely say this is one of the most inefficient places to stay. The neighbors are cool but everything else is awful. The photos are very misleading, you have to paint the walls and then repaint them back to original color before you leave. The washer dryer will make all your clothes look old. The A/C heating units are very inefficient and will run your bill 3x the avg cost within the area. Most maintenance you must do yourself. Have to pay for garbage services that don't benefit you and many times you will have solicitors coming into the building.

The apartment we've moved in is renovated, everything is clean and well maintained. The location is accessible to malls, grocery stores, school and church. Staff is very friendly and approachable especially Josalynne, she is helpful and will make sure things are done right away. I have recommended this apartment to my friend and her family just moved in with her and they love their apartment too.

Hello, thank you for leaving this detailed feedback about your experience with Clover Creek Apartments. We always love to receive great feedback. Thank you, Natalie Nelson
The apartment itself wasn't bad, beat up a bit, but for the price ,my roommate and I dealt with it. After year the one our water heater blew up, flooded the place and we were stuck with huge fans that heated up the place the in middle of may, couldn't sleep due to the nose they made so I was forced to sleep at a friends. Water heater was replaced but someone didn't install it correctly so we went to wash laundry and the hose came off the wall flooding the apartment again. I then requested a carpet cleaning due to the maintenance tracking their boots over the wet carpet in addition to some touch up painting because of the damage... gave up trying because I didn't have time to peruse the issue. Another year later we move and get our deposit back, they took MORE THAN half and gave no reason why. Keep in my mind we are professional students and left the place cleaner than when we moved in, and did absolutely no damage to the place ourselves.

I lived in clover creek for 6 years. In the beginning there was a basket ball court, the staff was friendly, management was very helpful and things seems to be going ok, until management changed, the rules for paying the water bill changed and there started to be problems with children fighting or children keep breaking the down stairs door. The water bill is added up through the whole building and divided by how many ppl you have on your lease. Seems fair right....no its not because if you were out on vacation and didnt use water you still get a high bill. Everything is electric so the bills are really high. The staff, cant answer any questions and tell you they have to wait on the manager, the manager doesnt answer the phone and they never have the time to meet with you. They will give you a 5 day notice even when its managements fault. Some ppl have to pay more for rent every year and some dont, just depends on if management likes you or not. I moved out and they took my security deposit and trumped up more damage and then sent me a bill to a collection agency, not only did they send it once they sent it twice. Therefore I have to duplicate things reporting on my credit and the collection agency is working on fixing it now because that bill was paid in full within a few days. I would never move in clover creek again, I would never refer anyone to move in there. They are over priced and the coffee they give tenants isnt enough. They need better customer service from staff and management.

The manager Lindsay is very unprofessional. The entire office staff do not know how to handle the residents. They do not return calls. Me and my fiance' have been there for 2 years and we always paid our rent 2 weeks in advance. We paid for April rent on March 24, 2016. The rent was taking awhile to cash so I called on 2 separate occasions and I talked to Lindsay she advised me she received the check but it could be my bank, I told her no it wasn't because our water bill checked was written on 3/25/16 and it was cashed already. I came home on 4/6/16 and was furious to find a five day notice on our door. The office was closed I left a very detailed message for Lindsay. I called the office on 4/7/16 six times never received a return call. I left work went to the office spoke to Lindsay and she said it look like someone wrote a check from a closed account and gave it to them to cash the audacity for her to insinuate the check was from a closed account when they have cashed our checks from that checking account since 2014 and she could clearly see the water bill check was from the same account that was cashed in March 2016. We are very furious with Clover Creek and would not recommend them for future residents.

Drug deals in the parking lot, and the customer service is awful. It's very expensive to live here, and it really isn't worth it!!
I have no complaint work orders are completed in a timely fashion office people are polite.

reviewer-name, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.
The apartment itself is very nice, the office staff is not very professional, they have no communication with each other. The rent is very high, for what you get.
If you are a Dog lover this is the place for you!!! Clover Creek Apartments is a well kept apartment complex that is very Dog Friendly! Clover Creek offers large 1,2 and 3 bedroom units for an affordable price. Their amenities include a small playground, dog park, outside swimming pool and fitness center. In addition the location of the apartment complex tops the cake. Make sure you visit the leasing office for more information!

Our apartment was fully renovated with beautiful appliances, carpet, flooring etc. Once in your apartment it's soundproof. The grounds are nicely maintained with a beautiful pool and workout room. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. It has been a great experience. I would highly recommend this complex.

We were show the apartment during the day only to realize at night there are barely any lights in the apartment. There was something wrong with every room in the 2bd 2bth apt. Only AMAZING thing is the indoor washer and dryer but they are SUPER inefficient. Not to mention the energy guzzling AC units that smell like hardcore freon. They have electric everything and not of the light switches actually work inside the bedrooms. Some outlets also didn't work. We are paying 1300 but are definitely not getting our money's worth with $80 in water, ~$120 ComEd, and we are only 2 people living here. The entrance smells horrid because the neighbors don't know how to use the garbage disposal area. Half-naked people always around the building. The administration is fairly nice but are not up-to-date on customer service. Only good thing about living here is that it is close to the highway and local shops. Other than that many hidden fees and surprise hardships. Getting what you pay for is almost as lucky as finding a four leaf clover.
This is the most dog-loving community I have ever seen. The majority of residents here have a dog. The units are quite sound-proof because even if you hear a neighbors dog barking while going through the hallway, once you enter your apartment...silence. I really like the layout of the apartment I am in. The living room is in the center between the two bedrooms so there is a lot of privacy. Both bedrooms have a walk-in closet, and both have their own bathroom. Maintenance is very good about keeping the place up and they are all very nice. Everywhere has its downfalls. They have to do with preferences in my case. I am not a fan of an electric stove, but everything here is electric. And you don't have a choice of cable companies, you are stuck with Comcast...a deal made by the complex. The water bill is a bit outrageous, you share the bill that the complex gets according to how many people reside in your unit. Around $60 month til June hit, then $70. (it does include garbage and sewer). I think if they put in water-saving toilets it would help a lot. There is a washer/dryer in each unit, which is a plus! I happen to like a darker room, but if you like light, I suggest you get a South-facing unit, or get used to turning on your lights during waking hours. All-in-all, I like the place and really don't want to move, but our jobs are dictating otherwise. Hope this helps somebody.

I can say the beginning of my residency here was very comfortable, yet lately it hasn't been as great. I'd like to think that in the past the landowners have cared about their tenants. The maintenance is great and typically respond and fix any issues within 48 hours. There have been issues where pets defecate in the halls, this is more of an issue of careless tenants but is usually picked up by cleaners who come daily at different times. The landowners are great at making sure the buildings are clean for the most part. They also are good at preventing the issue of mice and bed bugs. The staff in the office can be very frustrating. Other tenants and I have had issues involving lost rent and disagreements with the staff. More recently many of my neighbors have moved due to various issues involving the office (Lost rent, hassling tenants, unfair in handling disagreements, etc.) You most likely wont receive your full deposit back if you decide to move out. As long as you pay your rent directly and in person, follow the rules in your lease carefully, and avoid any issues involving the office staff you can live here comfortably. [NOTE]*be extremely careful with the issue of bugs/pests in your home because they will most likely evict you if the problem becomes the slightest bit more serious...
Pros: There is free parking here, pet-friendly complex, in-apartment laundry. Nice balconies and decent neighbors. Decent size pool and 24/7 Gym facility. Great location near highways and local restaurants and grocery shops including Yorktown Mall. Cons: Old, inefficient appliances. Smelly hallways. Hidden Fees for apartment. Unkept workout facility. Pushy administration with inefficient form of payment online. Conclusion: It is a fairly decent apartment complex but customer service needs to be worked on as well as updating many of the appliances. The landscaping is amazing and nice for children to play but many of the complexes are unhygienic. Overall 2 stars.
