Londonderry is a cozy suburban town on the south side of Manchester. Having grown out of sparsely-developed farmlands, the landscape is almost entirely filled by residential neighborhoods, with a small cluster of shopping centers, restaurants, and a multiplex movie theater along Nashua Road near Interstate 93.
Surrounded by parks and intertwined with lush green forests, the entire community enjoys a somewhat secluded rural atmosphere, with residents on the north side also benefitting from close access to the resources and attractions of Manchester. Boston is only about an hour’s drive to the south, putting one of America’s most exciting and historic cities at arm’s reach for business or leisure anytime.

Property Ratings at Residences at MacGregor Cut
I don't like the people that own these apartments. They raise the rent $150/ year like clockwork, but with no tangible improvements to the property. The MacGregor property in londonderry is littered with dog poop because it flies off of peoples cars because the trash is so far away. The property manager wants to be in everyone's business but has little interest in solving problems. I discovered I was paying someone else's power bill, an amount triple what I should have been paying. She gave me the number for an eversource employee and asked me to deal with it, but then got mad when I arranged for him to come over to investigate the problem. This resulted in them finally looking at every unit to correct their wiring and billing. They hire cut rate maintenance guys, they installed dead batteries in my smoke detectors. They "couldn't find the leak" that was dripping over my head and gave up on it. They left my apartment unlocked for the weekend after they left. They only provide one key to the apartment, you can't have both people get in without going to make your own copy of the key The apartment was not checked or cleaned after the last person moved out- beard hair in the sink, food in the oven, pee on the toilets, and dirty carpets. I asked for a rent credit but was told they "don't do that" before getting an email about a door decorating contest for rent credit. Parking is a nightmare for half the buildings in the complex and snow removal is downright authoritarian due to having no excess parking. They can't be bothered to absorb the $2.50 processing fee for rent payments through appfolio and instead charge it to tenants despite raising rent annually. These people are cheapskates and don't care about you. Don't live here.
I've lived here for about two months now, and it's been fantastic. This is a safe community that is well maintained. Julie the property manager is is on top of everything, doesn't matter what time of day and even after hours. She was outside helping residents clean off their cars and even gave one a jump start. I truly believe the negative reviews on here are from residents that do not like following rules of apartment living. They're quite simple, and in place for a reason. I consider myself very lucky to live in a place with such great people and management. This place wouldn't be what it is without Julie and we all know that here.
I moved in over the summer and I am very happy with the unit. The building manager is very helpful snd courteous she has gone out of her way to assist me in all requests I have put in. The pool was very enjoyable this summer abs was never crowded. The clubhouse is always spotless as the manager keeps up with the cleaning of it.
I agree with the previous comments and can add that management is aggressive and not friendly at all. They definitely will send you scarring and warning sms and even on all holidays including thanksgiving, new year and Christmas. Moreover, they live directly on campus in same building and “work”. For example, call to towing company to remove guests cars or residential cars parked on guest lot, even after 11pm every day. You will not feel happy to see only solid concrete areas on the residential area, no play yard, or area for dogs, but you will get surrounding wood full of ticks. If you wish to complain to the top management, they are never in main office, belonging to one family, therefore, not working at all.
We've lived here almost a year and have struggled to find parking since day 1. Even before residents of buildings 13 & 11 moved in, buildings 12 & 10 shared 1 row of parking vs the extra space around the clubhouse other buildings get. Now that those buildings are opening we're forced to park across the property & walk day or night, train or shine. If you're renting a 1 bedroom apartment you'll only get 1 parking decal and told to keep your other car at the park & ride across town. Only way to get 2 stickers is to rent a 2 bedroom. Even then each building has about 25 units- 20+ of which are 2 bedrooms. This allows 45+ parking decals to be issued per building but there are only 17-22 spaces in front of each. How did this get approved?!! If you drive a motorcycle you'll be told to pay to put it in storage or have it towed come October. Snow removal is a joke too. The 1 visitor lot across the property is due to be emptied by 9am to allow the first building to move to it so that their lot can be plowed. Then the next building has to move within 30 minutes or be towed and so on. The plow "truck" is a small dinky forklift looking cab with a plow on it that takes over an hour to plow 1 area. Buildings before yours don't vacate the visitor lot in time because their lot isn't clear but you better bet if you're not gone within 5 minutes of your time (plow or not) you'll be towed. Have fun wasting gas & time after snow storms driving around waiting to go back home. & good luck finding a spot when you get there.
Don’t bother moving here, and especially avoid buildings 10 and 12, or the new buildings that just opened 13 and 11. They didn’t accommodate for any parking for these 4 buildings. You get out of work at 5, doesn’t matter if you are here for 530-6 you are fighting for parking spots and forget it after 6 you’re hiking to your building. You want to gym or grocery shop or work part time late at night you are parking at other peoples buildings and having to walk. The units are least impressive and thrown together cheaply, which is upsetting for the pricing they have these units at. The whole association is disappointing and they seem to have no plans for parking situations or constant overflown trash bins which there are also only a couple available. Since moving here I’ve had numerous problems with the unit itself; and outside the unit and sad to say I’m not the only one who feels ways about these buildings and how they were built. Which is all around poor along with parking. Go somewhere else
Owners don’t listen or care, more people moving in to 2 bedrooms and not authorized so the sneak them in and their animals in. The entire community has the same amount of residents and dogs bc people think they can do what they want. Same with parking passes. I live in 2 bedroom i pay A lot for and then u have 2nbedrrom with 4 people or 5 with each car gets sticker nope not on lease and not enough parking for current residents or even handicap people
I have lived in apartments exclusively for the past seven years and even though being new construction, this community couldn't be any less impressive. The moving in process was so unorganized, I felt like I had to keep up with the property manager. I still have no screens in my windows or for my slider and I have lived here for 6 months and it is now nearing June. There are only two garbage disposal areas for the entire community constantly causing overflow. Unprofessional and unreliable management. Apartments are obviously new, but nothing to admire. Very poor work, less than ideal. They are tow crazy, too. Do not recommend for the money you are spending.
I recommend living here because it's clean, quiet, and safe. The property manager is timely and professional. She is readily available if need be. I really enjoy my time here thus far.
I love how the area is so quiet and it’s in a great location! Rachel has done such a great job at maintaining the property too. Would absolutely recommend for anyone to move in!
The property manager of McGregor Ct is wonderful. She is timely helpful and very personable. My family and I have lived here for about 5 months, the apartments are very well maintained, clean, quiet. Every neighbor we have met is also very nice!! Highly recommend
Been here for about a year now its a very nice apartment, outfitted with everything you need. Great location, basically close to anything and everything. Raechel in the office is pleasant to deal with and very responsive with everything. The grounds are well maintained and clean, and the other tenants seems very nice and welcoming.
Raechel takes care of everything super quick and she is on top of everything. Have loved living here and could not ask for anything more. Place is so clean and tenants are very friendly.
We have been here since November 2019 and the apartments are nice and brand new. Neighbors are very quiet in our building and have not had any issues. Management has been easy to work and Raechel in office is available when needed. Overall happy with this apartment.
My boyfriend and I moved to this complex about 5 months ago at the end of last summer and we could not be happier here. From the first moment I pulled onto the property I could see our future here. The property Manager, Raechel, is absolutely amazing. She’s approachable and attentive, and very kind. She is ALWAYS so friendly and it’s the best feeling knowing that my boyfriend and I are not just numbers at the complex but that she knows our names and ALWAYS asks how our day is going. I unexpectedly dropped in for a tour late last spring, as I was in the area at the time and didn’t previously live close. She quickly gathered materials and gave me a thorough tour around the complex. First impression was definitely a “10/10”. I got in my car and texted “I found our new home” before even starting my engine. Fast forward to move in day - everything was stellar and went so smooth. Since move in, we haven’t had any problems with this unit / property. Our building is always quiet, day or night, there is never a disturbance. I cannot hear any of my neighbors at any time. The counters are a true granite, and a beautiful design. The dark cherry toned wood is a gorgeous contrast in the kitchen to the countertops and the brand new stainless steel appliances (like we literally peeled the plastic off on move in day). The patio is a great size, and very very private as you can’t see any neighbor to your left or to your right. Now that winter is in full swing, I have to say I was worried being a first time NH resident with all the snow and ice. And there are still ZERO issues. The building is always kept very clean and walkways are alway kept free of ice/snow. At the beginning of the winter we were told procedure of snow removal so there was never any confusion. It’s always fast and efficient. Since move in, I had to place a few very, very minor maintenance requests and they were ALL responded to in less than 24 hours. The maintenance staff, including Raechel, were all very kind, efficient and eager to help. The ONLY thing I wish that was different about this place is my unit sink - it is a little too small for larger pots and pans so clean up of some dishes is a little tough. THE ONLY CON IS A SINK. This place is a dream, I am so happy and so lucky to be a resident here!!!!!!!
I’ve been here a year and am so happy here. First time living alone but Feel safe at all times. Raechel has been there For me with any questions or issues. Haven’t had many but I feel that Raechel cares about even the little issues we come up with. Always takes her time even when she is in the middle of something. I don’t know how but she seems to know everybody by name. She was there shoveling snow during a blizzard. I love it here and tell everyone so.
This is my first time living in an apartment and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve lived here for about 3 months now and it’s been awesome. Raechel is awesome and an overall great person and property manager. She’s always very responsive when I have questions or need assistance. The buildings are clean and brand new, there’s plenty of parking (I’ve never struggled to find a spot, same goes for the guest parking so far), and everyone seems very friendly. Would 100% recommend!
I have been here for 3 months now & am very happy here. the apartment is beautiful & new with plenty of space. For the most part it is very quiet & people seem to be respectful of each other. Our on site manager, Rachel , is very helpful too. Whether you have a question or concern, she always takes care of things. It's very reassuring to have her here.
My 2 br apartment is great but what really distinguishes me experience living here for the last 5 months has been the management. Raechel, the manager is fantastic and always goes above and beyond.
The buildings and property are kept very clean. It is very quiet, safe, and kid friendly. The property manager made the whole process from start to finish very easy. From reviewing available units to reviewing the lease and to move in. Any concern or question is responded to in a very quick, timely manner. I couldn't be happier with my decision to rent here. I highly recommend this residence to anyone looking for an affordable, safe, nice place to live.
I met with Raechel to view an apartment and instantly fell in love with the community . The apartments are absolutely stunning , all the amenities you could hope for , from the appliances , the granite counter tops all the to the balconies. From the very start Raechel was amazing! From start to finish she was there to make my move stress free! The residents are super friendly and so are all of the fur babies! Thank you Raechel for all that you do for this community!
If you like dogs barking 24/7, unsanitary common areas, trash constantly over flowing, unsafe areas, guest cars towed , pool closing at 7 p.m., poor on-site unresponsive manager then this is the place for you.
Unprofessional and unreliable management. We never get any of messages or return calls. The management is unorganized. We wanted to view the apartments before filling out the application but never heard from the property manager. But I found out that My friend lives in the complex and viewed her unit. Let’s just say I’m not going to waste my time and money. There are dogs everywhere and the building materials are very low quality. What a joke!
I've been living here for 3 months now and am very happy with the apartment. Everyone is very friendly and it is a quiet community. Thanks to Rachel for sending us prompt updates and reminders about snow removal and other important issues that come up. I've always had a quick response from her with any issues or questions I've had. I'm so happy to have found this place so close to shopping and 93 which makes my commute very easy!
These apartments are brand new everything! I love the spacious bathrooms and extra kitchen storage. It's a great location near the highway, but away from the traffic noise. All the neighbors I've interacted with have been friendly. Raechel was quick to answer any questions we had about our apartment before and during move in. It's convenient that her office is onsite. We appreciate the updates on policies and procedures. Glad we found this hidden gem in Londonderry!
I love living here! Raechel is amazing, she's always available and on top of things if you need her. I've contacted her about a few concerns and she always responds right away and takes care of what she can. I'm very grateful to be here, everything is new and beautiful! All residents in this community are polite and courteous. Compared to other places I was looking at, I definitely can't imagine living anywhere else.
We love our apartment so much and Raechel made moving in a breeze. She was there for us start to finish and we appreciated her help
Property is coming along nicely. Staff if quick to response to issues with new construction. Raechel is always available to assist with questions and aiding me with concerns about living in an apartment with my toddler. Hoping for continued improvement to the property and looking forward to the pool this summer!
I am a new resident to Residences at MacGregor Cut. I have lived all over the country and I can say that my move to this complex has been the best! Raechel does an outstanding job! She provides excellent customer service and is very responsive to all my requests. She goes above and beyond for each tenant (and prospect tenant). With being the only person managing the entire property, Raechel is doing a fantastic job. I can say that I have found my home and I look forward to many years living here.
Moving is never a pleasant experience. Of course with a couple obstacles to manage in the beginning, Raechel our property manager went above and beyond making sure our new apartment was ready for move in and she even took the time to help clean up the apartment so we could move in in a timely manner after some unforeseen circumstances on move in day. She is very attentive to detail, quick to fix concerns, and truly cares for her job and for this new community as a whole. My family and I are at ease knowing we have the support we need to keep a clean, safe, and happy community around us. We are so happy with the choice to live here!
We love our new apartment. Raechel is amazing to work with. From the start of the process to now, she has been such a huge help getting everything we need to become settled. It’s not uncommon to send her a text with a quick question and she responds immediately. She’s very hands-on and it shows in the way she cares about all of the tenants. She goes above and beyond what a property manager would do. She has taken the time to get to know us and is always willing to handle any situation/question that we may have. Her kindness was the main reason we choose MacGregor Ct.
I am so happy that I ran into this listing when I was looking for a new home. I immediately reached out to Raechel and she explained every little detail over the phone and answered all of my questions. A few days later we showed up for a showing & fell in love with the place and got the process going, She got our approval done within days and we were moved in by our deadline! She made us feel welcomed and she was also excited for us! You can see that she cares about her job and is very professional, this is huge considering my past experiences. I can’t rave enough about our experience here. I love calling this place home!
My family and I relocated from down south. We went through the approval process site unseen. Raechel was amazing throughout the process. She made herself available to help and even offered a FaceTime tour. We were getting down to the wire and she communicated via text message while I was on an airplane, knowing I couldn’t talk. Who does that? Once we were here she greeted my family with hugs and a smile! Raechel truly cares about the property and each and every resident in the community. Now that we have lived here for a couple of weeks, nothing has changed. Raechel still communicates regularly with updates on the property and keeps us informed. We could not have chosen a better community. Our neighbors are very friendly and outgoing. Can’t wait for the clubhouse to be finished so we can see Raechel more often! If you are looking for a new place to call home, this is the community to choose!
I love our property manager Raechel- she is about making every resident who wants to move here or currently does, happy and at home. She does above and beyond for each of us and so does the owners! I have witnessed since i moved here they are in buildings working hard finishing units to get their new tenants in and working onsite every day since - also Janet who is office manager is amazing and I’ve never met anyone like them! They have families, they live in town, husbands work in town, they have families and on top of all, the owners - are regular average family men. No high end cars.. simple.. so this place is everything u would want and if u think workforce housing means dumps - no it’s actually based on the lowest paid and highest paid town employees who need to live here to work here. That’s why it’s important because it’s helping our own but helping others like elders, people who are sick and can’t work and regular hard working families who want to live in this beautiful town at the regular price - it’s all high end work and I’m proud to say it’s home
