Rising out of the prairies and cornfields of the heartland, Omaha serves as a cultural wellspring and economic powerhouse for the region. Downtown has seen a lot of development in recent years, and now serves up a huge selection of trendy shopping, dining, and entertainment, particularly around the Old Market; the Blackstone neighborhood has also emerged as a new hotspot for adventurous restauranteurs and hip nightlife. The robust live music scene in Omaha is one of the city’s worst-kept secrets, with national publications singing the praises of popular venues like the Waiting Room and the annual Maha Music Festival at Stinson Park.
Omaha is serious about college sports – the University of Nebraska’s Cornhuskers are hometown heroes, and the city is the longtime home to the College World Series every summer.

Property Ratings at Residences at Sorensen Square
Don’t move here. Too many roaches infestation, the roads are terrible. The company doesn’t care about the people living there.
I have enjoyed living here. The manager Lisa is always friendly and willing to help. The maintenance Josh is always there to fix whatever you need. I'm rating them 5 stars because they took over a property that was down to 0 stars and have made tremendous improvements. The rent is reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment.

Rent is cheap. But you get what you pay for. Hallways wreak of dirty cats, dogs, marijuana odor, cigarette smoke and spoiled trash from lazy tenants. Most of the tenants are young (mid twenties), pretty noisy (especially on weekends), and inconsiderate of their neighbors. The walls are paper thin, so that doesn't help with the noise situation. You can literally hear a neighbor's entire conversation through the walls. The parking lot is horrible! I've actually suffered of tire damage from potholes in the parking lot. Maintenance usually takes a few days for repairs. Washer and dryer units that are provided are poorly cleaned/maintained. Lastly, management lacks efficient communication.

our apartments are cheap in rent and water paid. maintenance is a little slow at fixing things but the property manager is phenomenal when cleaning and making the property look good. some tenants can be a little noisey but for the price you pay its worth it.
