Make sure you have hidden cameras in your room. Maintenence enters your unit without notice and will leave ALL your lights on (they dont pay that bill either!), go thru your stuff, your jewelry box and leave your door UNLOCKED!!!! This has happened twice in my 1 year here and Corporate does NOTHING ABOUT IT!! Also, if you don't put in a work order to clean the halls and around the dumpster area, it'll stay filthy til you complain. We constantly had to clean our hallway ourselves bc kids would track sticky stuff into the hallways. The walls and ceilings are super thin. Thin meaning we can literally hear our upstairs neighbor sneeze, cough and even have "sexy time". Otherwise, geat location, excellent floorplans, and a beautiful pool area. Aubree in the leasing office was phenomenal when she was there! She got me moved in in just 3 days!!! Hence 2 stars vs 0!

To tell the truth, I was hesitant to come for tours because of the bad comments, but I was surprised by the welcome reserved by Aubree. May be bad experience for those with bad comments, but my experience is much more different. Aubree was very friendly and was a great help in my installation. Very attentive to all my requests. She is simply wonderful. This place is also quiet and clean, I like it. :) Please come and visit the property and decide by yourself. Thank you Aubree and your team (Dallas, Joyce, and others) :)
The favorable comments below have not been my experience. My heating stopped working the week following the ice storm. It took 4 days to replace a part they had in stock. My garage door stopped working, can't open it even manually, still not fixed three weeks later. I keep being told they will call out a garage door tech. Dealing with a rat problem too.
I recently moved to this property to be closer to work. I LOVE the complex and I have seen no issues with concerns in previous reviews about cleanliness. On several occasions since moving here I have seen the maintenance team picking up trash that others failed to properly dispose of and they were very prompt in making any repairs needed so that my unit was in perfect order before I moved in. The office staff has been exceptional from the time I toured the property until I leased. My leasing agent Jonnie is very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure he stays in contact with you during the entire leasing process. Also this complex is very quiet and is very close to nice shopping and restaurants and well as a lot of new development nearby that makes it great for busy professionals.
The new management doesn't keep the grounds up. Trees have died an they aren't going to be replaced. Lots of weeds. Trash is not picked up. The maintenance guys left an old water heater in front of a dumpster for over a week. Crime is really up over the last couple of years. Don't have a package delivered to your front door. The owner's haven't done any upgrades in 6 years. Lights are burned out and not replaced. Furnace filters haven't been changed in a year. It used to be a great place, but it's not anymore. We are on our 3rd new manager in 9 months. Hopefully she does better. I have built multifamily projects for over 20 years and I don't see Lantower fixing Residences at the Collection. All they want to do is invest, not increase the value of the asset.
I love everything abt the apt. The neighborhood is nice and so is the staff.
I myself am in Property management, so for me to give a community 5 ****`s is a HUGE deal! The Residence @ The Collection Rocks! Maintenance is on top of things, Grounds are clean, and the staff is pretty nice (I know how hard it can be working in the office) Keep it up guys!!
I have lived here for 3 years and while the complex and apartments themselves are nice there are some things to be aware of. I have never had an issue with maintenance, they pretty much answer the work call either the same day you request it or at the latest on the next day. I have never had any issues personally with the management but I feel that they are not concerned with how the complex is starting to look. There is curbside trash pickup from Monday thru Friday from 7am to 9am, but people leave their trash out at all times during the week even though there are dumpsters within very close walking distance to each building. Then, to make it worse, they throw it from the stairwell balconies which sometimes makes the bags rip and some people don't even tie the bags when throwing it out making trash fall out everywhere! It is so DISGUSTING! Also, when I first moved in they did a good job of keeping the hallways and stairwells clean and they even power washed the concrete but again, it just seems like they are not concerned with how they look anymore. I also have the loudest upstairs neighbors I think I have ever had, but when they are gone the complex for the most part is pretty quiet but sometimes it has its moments of loud rude people.
Residences of the Collection are very nice in lots of ways but 2 big negatives stand out to me. Every single person around me has dogs that just bark incessantly, day and night. Don't get me wrong,I love dogs - really all animals but just non-stop barking pretty much all the time is annoying. The other issue is garbage. We have "curbside trash pickup" but it is only supposed to be put out in the morning by 9 during the week. Unfortunately, no one follows those rules and there is old nasty garbage sitting around all the time. There are lots of dumpsters close to every building so it is easy to just throw your garbage in there like I do but most don't do that.
