Property Ratings at Residences at The Streets of St. Charles
It was a great experience while staying however once you move out, number of challenges start. I can understand the authenticity of other negative comments and can relate.

I do like the building and layout of the grounds. The office staff is nice when you first move in then they become more rude towards people who live there for awhile. I went to desk several times for a maintenance problem and they blow me off. Maintenance is not the best i can't get my toilet fix after approach 3x about it. Dogs bark all the time inside when you are trying to sleep.

I read all the bad reviews before leasing and thought I would still really like to live at The Residences. Unfortunately I have been consistently disappointed since day 1. The majority of the issues are due to the poor management. All sorts of issues and miscommunication. They even decided to change the internet and shut everyone's internet off without telling them. Then leaving us to fend for ourselves to get the new "community service" hotspots which requires authentication on any device you connect to it, (which had major issues working and you cannot use another service) they didn't even offer a discount or anything to make up for having no internet and the inconvenience. They even tried to blame spectrum when spectrum has contracts and documents showing trilogy chose to do this. If you try to bring up anything with the girls at the front desk instead of caring about your concern they immediately make up some lame excuse or blame someone else, never putting any effort into listening and correcting any issues. Or they may even say they will handle it then nothing happens. Beyond the very poor and unprofessional management that will repeatable foot you the bill for any of their mistakes. The rent is way overpriced and expect an additional $100 in fees on whatever price they quote per month. No designated parking space, you will have to share with anyone visiting the businesses outside, making most times of day very difficult for parking. One side of the building only goes to garage level 4 which is the same level that is the entrance to the businesses so it is often busy even at low peak times. Outside of bringing up each concern once or twice to the front desk, and being blown off, I have never brought my disappointments up with other tenants. Shockingly enough I have had many people randomly come up to me and say the same things. Many say the old management company was incredible and the building has gone really downhill since Trilogy bought it. The turnover is huge. People moving in and out everyday so at least 1 elevator is always reserved with huge trucks and movers in and out constantly. The interiors (ie. halls, elevators) are mildly clean with paint chipping in areas, as well as bad smells. Even some very obvious design flaws in the building. I have a very large list of things I am disappointed with but I'll stop here. At least this gives you an idea. Good Luck with your apartment hunting!

Seems like a pretty brutal title for a review but you have no idea what the first couple months have been like. Every day at 5am I get a wake up call from the fitness club below where the music thumps until the evening. My personal property that was used to decorate my door was stolen. Then when I try to pass on my concerns to the Management no action was taken. There are other minor things like paying $120/month for high speed Internet and cheap cabinets but what upsets me the most is how management works with their tenants to make things right. It’s definitely not a place where I plan to call home much longer, and if I could break their ridiculous lease cancellation policy my bags would be packed as soon as possible.
Having lived the American Dream for many years, I came to the conclusion, that the dream of a house and yard and taxes and shoveling snow and clogged sewers, trees crashing through my roof during high winds, hauling trash cans to the street, a car careening through my white picket fence and general repairs was not a dream but as close to a nightmare as it could be. So, I decided to take my father's advice and live like a millionaire. I got rid of my yellow cottage with a huge yard and set about my plan First I located a fine luxury apartment and as luck would have it, the Residence at the Streets of St. Charles was being built. The first day the Apartments for rent sign went up, I was there. I figured out how much I could afford and went to the agent and said "What can I get for this amount?' I got into a beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment and it is big enough for my baby grand piano. First I plotted the apartment on graph paper and did the same with my furniture. So, when I moved in, I knew exactly what to bring and where it was to go. The movers brought it in and voila, I was an apartment dweller. My kitchen is perfect and super easy to clean. Beautiful granite counter-tops, stainless appliances, dark, modern cabinets and a easy to clean laminate wood floor. Open concept with my spacious laundry just a few steps away. Magazine ready! The foyer is a generous size with a good closet. I added a crystal chandelier, a few pieces of unusual furniture and when guests come in, the first thing they say is "This is so beautiful. I feel like i am in a home" I always respond "Thank you, this is a home. My home" The location of this complex is amazing. I have gone to the hospital, antique shopping, to lunch and filled my car with gas. without leaving the neighborhood. I never have to worry about trash, it goes down a convenient chute. During a storm, instead of running around securing things and worrying about my house. I took a book and sat on my balcony enjoying the night. When snow is predicted, I move my car to the covered parking garage. If something were to clog, a quick call to maintenance and no more clog. I swim in the pool, work out in the gym, play billiards and get my mail all on the main floor. Our club house has a beautiful fire place comfy couches and an efficient kitchen. I have hosted many parties there. This is a lovely, gracious place to live. Wonderful neighbors, excellent management and a sense of luxury.
We have been pleased with the customer service from the managers to the maintenance follow up, everyone has been great! The building is of good quality and the amenities are great!
I have lived here over a year and a lot has changed and not for the better. When I moved in I was told the clubhouse use was free and family and friends were walked for BBQ. Now you have to pay for the use of the clubhouse and you can only have 2 quest visit and be around the pool at any one time. I was told during the walk through the pool was heated only to find out later only the hottub is heated. Wristbands now have to be worn at the pool and they only give you enough for the number of people living in your apartment. If you lose one its $35 to replace it. Funny it only cost $3 to have them made. Another part that changed is the smoking policy. You were allowed to smoke on your balcony or outside but they have changed that now as well to where no smoking is allowed except in place in the garages. You will find the place is not as clean as the pictures make it seem. I'm moving out because it feels more like a prison than a home anymore. To me it's borderline bait and switch, they promise you things and then change policy later after you are moved in. A lot of people are moving out and moving in, seems to be a not-stop rollover. Most residents are nice and pleasant to talk with but you will also learn there are a lot of unhappy people just waiting for the lease to be over so they can leave. The manager for the residences does not have the time a day for the tenants, he acts like he is listen only to walk away later. Don't be surprised if you try to have something special, like a pool party that he schedules another event before you. I planned a pool party for the residents that would have included a DJ, food and things to drink only to have him plan a pool party before mine. I'll not tell anyone to not live here but I would diffidently make sure I have everything in writing, ask a lot of questions and inspect everything.
This is the perfect aparment if you love entertainment, it has all kind of restaurants ,Bar louie, Amc theater, down stairs on the main street. The apartments are spacious and very nice. It's also dog friendly. It has cleaning area for your dogs. It also has tanning area, weight lifting room entertainment area for yourself and friends, you can also use it for a party or get together. It has everything you would need for nice party, are get together. Wait don't forget about the beautiful heated pool and jacuzzi and free parking garage with two parking spaces. Then you have two Casino, Ameri star and Hollywood casino. An its right off Highway 70. This is home for you. Please come visit, I'm sure you will be Happy!
this place is great but very expensive and we can barley afford anything other than to pay rent. The amenities are great and has all our families favorite restaurants right down stairs.
It's great but there is some minor things that are a bump in the road, I'm not going to make a list because there really isn't a need to. I've seen a lot of change, some for the better and some for the worst. I've had a few communication problems before with staff. Some issues with my rent and amenities that are provided, but just to keep this short and sweet. Expensive, yes, I can see the Studios being 600-700 but they are not. I can see the one bedrooms being 800-900 and so on depending what you are looking for. Safe, yes. Convenient for locations that are around, yes.
I temporarily was placed in the Residences at Streets of St. Charles so i know my review may not be as in depth as some others. However, i can tell you having the comforts of a home ripped away from under my feet due to a house fire, I could not have asked for a better place. The other tenants are mostly business executives, everyone is very polite and courteous and the best part; quiet. They are very pet friendly with a few dog parks. The apartments themselves are very nice very spacious kitchens, nice bathrooms, the water pressure could be better. The neighborhood is the best. There's live music once a month in the summer a few restaurants and bars for fun without attracting a rowdy crowd. All in all a great place to live.
For being the most top rated apartment in St. Charles this place does live up to it's hype. The staff is great and on point, the amenities are awesome and super convenient too. There are an array of stores and restaurants DOWN STAIRS and activities are always going on every month from concerts to wine tastings. Its Missouri's own little wanna-bee beach go-ers place to be. I love it here and really don't want to ever end my lease but sadly things have to come to an end at some point.
This Apartment has great amenities to include a great pool area, multiple elevators, and garage parking. The grounds are well taken care of and the building has secure access. The staff is always friendly and smiling and seem to enjoy helping their tenants and work very hard to make sure that issues are quickly taken care of. The biggest draw of this apartment residence is that it is conveniently located in a up and coming area, so there are great restaurants all within walking distance, plus a brand new movie theater and historic main street Saint Charles literally only a 5 minute drive away. Tenants are friendly and the place is pet friendly.
