The Triangle, also known as Triangle State, is a modern community in north-central Austin offering an array of upscale conveniences. The Triangle is home to a bevy of luxury apartments, restaurants, shops, and medical facilities just east of Rosedale and a few miles north of UT Austin.
The Triangle brings new meaning to the live-work-play phenomenon, with more than 500 apartments available for rent in the same complex as major employers like the Heart Hospital of Austin and Central Texas Rehabilitation Center. The Triangle also contains several lush green spaces, including Triangle Commons Park, which includes a paved jogging trail wrapped around a tranquil pond.
Among the Triangle’s many commercial delights is the Central Marketplace, a gourmet grocery that offers cooking classes and festivals in addition to its broad range of food and more. Even residents who don’t work in the Triangle enjoy simple commutes with convenience to North Lamar Boulevard and the MoPac Expressway.

The community itself is nice and quiet and the location is super convenient. My one complaint is about the apartment manager. When it was time to renew my lease, I inquired about keeping my rent the same price. She honored this request and I was grateful. It turns out she tricked me and more than doubled my "amenity fee" to make up for the difference. I find this to be extremely shady.

Pretty nice apartments! Fairly clean, maintenance is great and super fast, everyone is helpful. Rent is pretty expensive, and the additional fees are kind of unreasonable. Mostly bug-free except for seasonal crickets.

A good place to live. Great ambience and facilities. My friends live here and this is a gated community. There is closed parking for cars and proper cleaning.

The neighborhood is incredible- having a grocery store, a coffee shop, a yoga studio, and so many restaurants around the complex is great. The amenities are nice and the apartments are a good price.

Love living here! Amenities are great and the location is fantastic. There are lots of shops and good for walking around. Dog park is centrally located which makes it easy.

All the staff at the complex it’s nice! Our kids really enjoy the pool and all the different places at the building as the common areas and the free snack at the lobby! Location it’s just perfect if you enjoy walking or riding bicycles, many threes are around the buildings making a dream stay.

Actual rental unit was far from the display apartment. HVAC system is unable to keep the unit cool. The master bedroom ended up being the hottest room in the apartment. The air is dry. Fridge is small. Kitchen sink is small. Dish washer needs to be upgraded. Washer and dryer need to be upgraded. Windows need to be upgraded. Stove top needs to be replaced. Screws to hold the under cabinet lights protrude through the base and into the under surface of the cabinet. The best part about the apartment was its location. There is easy access to the elevator, which helps for moving.

Nice apartment with tall ceiling, staff have been great. Love the neighborhood to walk my dogs. Great restaurants near by. I like the washer and dryer in each units also.

So far I have enjoyed the move in process and the ease of working with staff. It was a bit noisy on a Tuesday at 4 am out by the pool but I would assume that is the deal with apartments.

The touring experience was a bit deceptive as the unit we ended up moving into was vastly different. While we enjoy the neighborhood and amenities, the difference in the actual apartment vs the model apartment leaves a lot to be desired. The installation of cabinetry and appliances seems a bit haphazard.

We do have a very large community, with many different floor play types and styles located in multiple buildings throughout the community as a whole. Triangle has an amazing and helpful administrative and management team. We liked the apartment we rent. There are some issues regarding the entrance locks, but I am sure they can work on it to solve these problems. I like being here in general.

My experience overall has been good. I would be much better if the gates and doors consistently worked. Some of the units also have older appliances which is ridiculous when rent goes up every year.

Move in was nice, a bit of damage but all is good otherwise. Office is nice, neighbors are nice. People are nice, wifi set up was easy and apparently the floors are concrete so not worried about bothering neighbors. Moving is nice with the skywalk.

Garage stairwells and garage parking have never been cleaned in the time I have lived here. There is graffiti tags on residence buildings and on signs for several months. Cars repeatedly broken into. Many vacant businesses.

After 2 years I’m still enjoying living at the Triangle apartments. The location is ideal and the surrounding businesses and greenery is a big bonus. Our unit is fantastic and we’re very comfortable. Unfortunately, there are still management related issues that have occasionally (yet consistently) occurred: 1. there have been periods of fire alarms going off at all hours with no sign of a fire or related emergency, 2. there was a serious lapse in pest control services which coincided with the appearance of dozens of dead rats all over the property with no explanation or warning, 3. finally, the residences are infamous for the mail vandalism that often leaves residents without mail deliveries with no long-term solution in sight. The people who work at the leasing office are kind, thoughtful and responsive. I believe these issues are not due to any fault on their part but rather on poor company policies and processes.

Despite a great location, the Residences at the Triangle is outdated relative to other apartment communities here in Austin. The units themselves are fine, but these buildings are very dirty, not secured, and leave a lot to be desired for a sense of cleanliness in public spaces. We will looking elsewhere once our lease ends.

We have been living in a unit at the Triangle for 6 months, but 2 with black mold. Structural damage was found weeks ago and and they have not addressed any of these issues, yet still say we are all “ok” to live there. They told us we had to move out and gave us one week to do so, only offering the roommate who was displaced their portion of rent and movers that never showed. They have allowed us to live in hazardous conditions, and have made no effort to do anything about it that is remotely moral. They would have no problem kicking you to the street at the drop of a hat, do not live here.

This place is the worst place I’ve ever lived. I have submitted numerous requests for pest control and I still have a huge cockroach problem, I have talked with additional people in the building and they say the same. On top of that my AC didn’t work for two weeks and then they finally replaced it and it leaks. The cherry on top is the fact the stove that The maintenance crew worked on in April just caught on fire.

The building is terribly maintained, so much dust, trash, and dove poops in the building, staircases and garage. The air conditioner system is noisy just like all the appliances in the apartment. Appliances are old, and malfunctioning. I've been opening service requests to fix my washing machine, and the maintenance crew doesn't give a sh..t. Lack of security systems in the building area such as cameras and access controls allows everyone to enter the building. I'm happily moving out from the Residences at the Triangle.

This property is FAR too expensive for what you get. This property does little to no up keep. The security is a joke. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This property was a big regret.

Needs some work. Maintenance around the building could be better. A door on the skybridge has been broken for at least a month. Front door trash is a waste of my money, and is probably the result of some mutually beneficial deal for the trash company and greystar.
