I love living here because of the community and location. Management could be more efficient with handling issues but all of the staff is very friendly.

everything is amazing as I expected. I especially would like to show my gratitude to the concierge as they manage everything including packages so smoothly that I've never had an issue.

Tremendous amenities and unbeatable location - definitely worth living here for that alone, but the apartment units are fantastic as well and have some of the best layouts.

The building is beautiful! There is 24/7 concierge so it is very safe. The respondents are a young community which makes it fun to be a part of.

I am loving the place! I got here a few weeks ago and already feel at home. The maintenance is amazing and the staff here is also very kind and always helpful.

So far I have loved the residences on the avenue. I moved in a couple of weeks ago. I think the gym is small and could use more weights (bell bar?), the pool and roof are both lovely.

I moved into Residences on the Avenue three years ago, and it has been an extraordinary experience! Located in the heart of the city, it provides quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, and riverfronts perfect for a morning jog. It is also close to Metro and bus stations, making commuting to work or other places quite easy. The facilities are high-quality and well-maintained. It features a modern gym, a cozy resident lounge, and a beautiful rooftop swimming pool with stunning views. They're simply amazing. However, what really sets it apart is the service. The property management team is always prompt and professional, ready to assist with any needs or concerns (a big shout-out to Sam and Wegene). Regular events are hosted, from breakfast to snacks, from Cinco de Mayo to July 4th fireworks, fostering a warm and welcoming sense of community among residents. In brief, I highly recommend Residences on the Avenue—A vibrant, comfortable, and convenient place to live and enjoy!

Great staff. Living is comfortable and convenient if you work around the area. Apartment are comfortable and clean. Amenities are great and clean.

Staff is really welcoming, the building is always well cleaned. The only issue is the heat in common areas is always so high even when it’s 90 outside which can be uncomfortable.

Love the Avenue. Very attentive staff, especially Sam and Weugene! Beautiful gym, yoga studio, office space, and pool table. Super clean, and great courtyard.

I have lived here for almost 2 years and it has been great so far. The limited access to the rooftop and (very) frequently downed air conditioning are important areas of improvements, but the maintenance staff has always been exceptional. When I first moved in, I thought there would be easily accessible coffee service but this turned out to not be the case. The concierge is probably a defining feature of the building's success, with staff (like Sam) who remember your name and even apartment number. The desk is also staffed pretty much 24/7––although the the desk is sometimes staffed by temps who are not the most helpful.

Amazing amenities staff are super friendly. Always very clean. Noise level is low. The lobby always smells great and freshly cleaned. Extended my lease

I am very much impressed with the whole environment and the facilities. It’s clean, staff is very professional and friendly. I hope they will keep it friendly for the community living there all the time.

Very nice place. On GW campus. Close to hospital. STaff are friendly and easy to get a hold of. Rooftop pool is a great bonus. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I really enjoy it here!

Had difficulties going through the process as an international student, but leasing team was incredibly helpful in getting me through the process.

Where to start? Last year our washing machine started smoking. The front desk was extremely slow and not helpful. As it turned out, the management was aware of the machines malfunctioning but didn’t do anything about it. They upgraded the gym (aka put some chairs - nobody ever sits there lol), somehow broke the AC. It didn’t work for at least four weeks. I told everyone about it: maintenance/management/front desk - nobody reacted. Some of our “neighbours” are some random tourists that come and go. The gate that leads to the backyard is not locked-anyone can come in. That’s exactly what happened a couple of days ago, when my husband went to take the dog out after midnight and saw a random guy in a ski/robber mask. Safety-0/10. For over half a year some lady was screaming her lungs out next to the metro, you could hear her extremely well with every window and door shut-you guessed it, management didn’t do a single thing. It took me calling the police several times to get rid of her.

Really great place to live if you are working at GW! The staff works really hard to keep the place clean and there is always someone at the front desk to make you feel safe.

Living at the Avenue is a luxury in Washington DC. It is in the best area with great accessibility to places like Whole Foods, Sweet Green, the Metro, and way more! The leasing office and concierge are very helpful. The safety is the best part! I look forward to the rest of my time there.

We are very happy with our decision to live here at The Avenue. From the amazing staff at the Front desk to the awesome Maintenance crew to the front office we cans say enough wonderful things. The location is perfect, safe and convenient to everything. Plus, the court yard area for pets is perfect.

I love living there as a GWU student right off campus. The only issues I run into living here are the noisy neighbors across the hall and the occasional issues with pack track deliveries

This is a wonderful place to call home! Any time I have had any maintenance requests, they fixed them in an exceptionally timely manner. The entire staff is very nice and helpful. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful, and the apartment itself if very nice. I am very happy with making the choice to live here!

It’s been wonderful living here, with close access to the Metro station and a lively neighborhood. If someone has the opportunity to live here, I would encourage them to take it.

Having lived at the Avenue for over two years and seen the staff come and go I can not speak highly enough about Nikko, the Executive Concierge. His professionalism, kindness and willingness to instigate new practices to make the community a safer and more pleasant place to live have been so warmly received! The building is in a great location, proximate to everything and the leasing office team, especially Whitney are truly great! Amenities are excellent and well maintained, and maintenance is prompt when needed!

The Avenue is a great place to live. The location is great and the neighborhood has everything you need. You’re in walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions. The staff is great as well. Nikko is the greatest! He is the ultimate professional and delivers services quickly and effectively. If you’re looking for a place to stay with a great neighborhood and staff, then this is the place to be.

This is a full-service building with lovely apartments, and beautiful amenities and public spaces - the roof decks and back courtyard are a particular pleasure. The staff is wonderful - friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Nikko, the relatively new executive concierge for the building, is always very attentive, helpful, and nice - a true professional!

Beautiful building and amenities. Staff however is unresponsive to maintenance issues and seem to blatantly not care about the well being of those who live in the building.

If you love to party all the time and don't care about a dorm environment, skip this review. You'll enjoy the Ave. If you want a nice, somewhat quiet and reliable place to live: please read on. I needed to find an apartment as a GWU student and had to do it fast, and the Avenue was the most convenient and nicest looking place that had a lot of availability: I see why now. If you can stay away, I highly recommend doing so. The fellow residents are loud and plain rude, nobody takes responsibility for their actions like vomiting all over the elevator leaving people to slip and fall in it! I have a parking spot which leaks sewage water onto my car (it reeks and takes about 15 tries with wiper fluid to partially clear) so that's great as well. Expect the garage to smell like a sewer in the summer months. When confronted about any issue, the building fails to do anything more than "we'll investigate some solutions and get back to you". Ha. After 3 attempts to fix my toilet (and the first of two breaches of permission to enter), I just gave up and learned to flush it in the ridiculous way it had to be flushed. I had to install a door camera since maintenance staff would barge in at 9am without permission. My family stayed in the guest suite the Avenue has and were interrupted around 7am by maintenance staff. The front desk staff were all friendly for the most part and did their best with the craziness of the Avenue, so I greatly appreciated that. So, if you want my advice: do more than a day's worth of research and find a place that you'll actually enjoy living in.

The location is amazing, the neighborhood is safe but you feel close enough to everywhere else in the city. The staff has been amazing, they work really hard and provide alot of extra benefits like yoga classes, free spin classes at soul cycle. My biggest complaint is all of the GW students. They party late, trash the common areas, and treat the maintenance staff so poorly. They're awful but the benefits outweigh the entitled bunch.

New building, pool on roof, work out room all amenities of a nice community. Pet friendly. Units are bright with high quality finishes and the service staff are professional and responsive.

A great apartment, new finishes, but public areas take a beating from GW student who seem to rent more than half the building. Pool on the roof is nice, small courtyard, pet friendly, decent gym entertainment room and business center. You pay top dollar. Parking in Building and you have a Whole Foods and Bank in the base of the building with several restaurants and bars at your door step.
