Oklahoma City is a thriving city right at the heart of Oklahoma. The city’s thriving economy is complemented by its exciting nightlife and entertainment options. Downtown is home to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Oklahoma City Zoo, two extremely popular family-friendly attractions. The Myriad Gardens also include the Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park production at the Water Stage.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has built a dedicated fan base, and things always get pretty wild around the Chesapeake Arena on game days. The arts community is quite active with galleries, museums, theater productions, and a music scene incorporating everything from underground alternative bands to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The city has been expanding in recent years, and Oklahoma City proper is much easier to get around with public transportation than most other cities in the region, including rail service.

Property Ratings at Retreat at Riverbend
LIKE IT SO FAR GREAT LOCATION. GOOD SCHOOL NICE FLOORPLANS
I have lived here for 5 years, and I have to say it's the best place I have lived in. Maintenance is and the ladies in the office are always very helpful, and I love the pool!
Do not recommend it. The place had roaches, the hot water heater flooded the place, and maintenance came to "fix" it but it flooded again, still not fixed. Plus there are literal screaming fights at night outside and no one ever does anything. Would do less than 1 star if I could. Also, the show unit does not look like the real units, its like night and day so don't let it fool you.
I called them several times when living here, emailed them, and tried going to the office but they would always be on lunch and never call/email me back. I wanted to move out, and they never told me what I needed to do as a result of being nonresponsive, but in less than a month i got a letter saying they sent $900 request to a debt collector. They never talked to me.
Maintenance doesn't happen in a timely manner. (Still have holes in ceiling after 3 years) There are major bug problems. (Pest control spray's 2 spots and walks out) Not a wheelchair accessible complex. You can get in the front door and to the bedrooms but not the bathrooms. No grab bars in the bathrooms) Kids and teens throw trash everywhere. Few pick up after their pets (lots of pet waste every where).
They changed my move in date 5 times I was supposed to move in on the 10th but I didn't then I got changed to the 13th then they told me if would be ready 17th then that changed to the 24th their no prepared at all
They lie about the water bill its not $50 its $100, work orders take weeks, apartments have roaches!
The office is very professional and courteous and efficient. The maintenance program is excellent! Michael ROCKS!!!!
My boyfriend and I bit the bullet and took a freaking eviction after refusing to pay until our maintenance issues were resolved. Our unit had continuously flooded (water pouring from the ceiling) for about two weeks and, because it wasn't handled, severe mold. We put in an emergency maintenance request and when there was no response within 24 hours, we called and spoke with someone. He came and looked at the leak that had flooded our hallway, guest bedroom, guest bathroom, dining room and about half of the living room, and said we had to wait until it stopped leaking, which it never did. We went to the office about a week later after no word to get an update and the office manager new nothing about it so we filled her in. About a week and a half later and a severe mold problem in (second mold problem in three months) a different guy from maintenance came to check "if our unit was leaking" because of plumbing issue upstairs. They put an eviction notice on our door but dismissed it when we took all of the photos of our mold ridden, damp apartment to court. We were told by Steve from the properties corporate offices that we should have been "kicking and screaming to get that issue taken care of" and therefore, the blame was our own. They refused to work with us on anything and were rude and completely disrespectful. I also have asthma so mold is a severe hazard to my health. After the mold was still not properly removed (mold still in the carpet that they said they were going to replace and mold regrowing all over guest bedroom) and my increasing respiratory issues, we just moved out and never looked back. And that's just the tip of the ice burg. Take your money elsewhere because you can get so much better for what you pay for. This place is a joke.
I lived here for almost a year. My car was broken into twice. The dishwasher never worked right. And the a/c could not keep the 2 bedroom apartment even a little cool in the summer my electric bill was over $200.00. Then after moving out and paying all the penalties for moving early. The property manager never turned in the money orderes I payed him with so 2 years later there trying to sue me over it. The place is a scam. Nick! Is a crook!!!!!
I truly love these apartments. Its quiet no drama no violence and very peaceful. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The office is very nice and usually quick to fix what's broken. This is definitely a great first apartment!
I live in the smallest size unit available, pay them over $650 a month, my apartment floods when it rains, and I have been without air conditioning for 2 weeks. After 2 days they brought me a window unit and then took it back 3 days later and didn't give me another one until I complained about having to pay a late fee for being one day late on my rent due to the fact that I wasn't able to stay in my apartment with no air and a 105 degree heat index. It has been 14 days since I notified them of my air conditioner not working. My apartment states at a minimum of 77 with the window unit.
