I am great full that I decided to move to Retreat apartments. It's peaceful, very clean, and modern. So far these are the qualities I have noticed, but of course the more I observed and learned, I hope I will notice so many qualities too. My move in was very smooth. Maria Andrade is very professional and has warm personality. I would recommend to anyone to speak with Maria or Verce who would like to move in to Retreat apartments because they both have high standards of professionalism. When I move in, I spoke with Verce and Maria and they both made it very smoothly our conversation.

It’s been a long, terribly warm and tropical storm type summer. All said, it’s been a delightful summer at “The Retreat”. The pool has been lively, the VBQ pits have been smoking and the mosquitos biting.

The Retreat at Shadow Creek Ranch is a great resident facility! This being my first apartment is everything that I could have wished for. The fitness facility is nice compared to others, and the pool deck is nice equipped with a grill for the hot summer months. I enjoy there is not tow for parking, which allows friends and family to not worry since parking is public, unless it is paid. Overall, I enjoy my living area and will be renewing my lease soon!

Horrible experience with this community. Management is never reachable. Gym is rarely open whenever people are available to use it. Half the machines don’t work in the gym, and the TVs don’t turn on.

We went to tour this apartment complex this weekend and were greeted with nothing but an attitude and no information.. The second we walked in the ONLY girl there was just full of attitude. When we went to show us the apartment she practically ran and told us nothing about the facilities. We were almost jogging to keep up with her. She also didn't want to give us any idea about pricing because we weren't renting for another 3 months... Still would have liked to know what the pricing was for right now to get an idea... Made us not even want to consider this place at all.. What a shame.

The sound insulation here is really poor. We can hear everything, from loud engines in the parking lots at 4:30 am to people hanging out at the pool at 3am to people above walking and living their lives. Other than that, great neighbors and a kind, safe community and landscaping and aesthetic that is pleasing to the eye. Would love it if the buzzing at the back of building 4 could be addressed and the AC unit in the front of building that buzzes and sounds like its on the verge of exploding the next time it comes on.

Management is not responsive. Dirty hallways and walls,- this has been an issue since day one I moved in no-one cleaned anything. Appliances are old everything is breaking all the time and issue is not really fixed but its like putting a band aid on broken parts just to avoid a surgery over and over again.

The Retreat is conveniently located in Pearland - it’s close to the 288 and shopping. I was searching for an apartment during the height of the pandemic and was afraid I wouldn’t find anything but that changed when I scheduled a tour with Versie Wells at The Retreat. She was extremely helpful and addressed all my questions and concerns. Even now if I need assistance she goes above and beyond. I’ve just renewed my lease and look forward to another year at The Retreat.

I have been living at The Retreat for 4 years now .I started in a 1 bed room and now living in 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. I know all the office staff love the ladies they always help in anyway possible and it’s quiet here and the property is kept up really nice !! The location is very convenient you can walk from home to shop dine or just for entertainment!!

I was incredibly excited to move into these apartments until move in day. The office was open thirty minutes later than what was stated, so I had to wait for them to open, and then when they did open, the keys and paperwork for our move in were not even ready. Then, upon finally getting to the apartment, we found that the renovations we were promised at our tour had not been completed and our balcony was bit even ready to use. The portals that are used to apply and make payments dont coincide with what the leasing office tells you and are not user friendly at all. It seems Shadow Creek Ranch has no intention of fixing their wrong doings as I have tried to get in touch and they are impossible to get ahold of regarding repairs and renovations. Think twice before signing a lease here.

I had water leaking underneath my sink. I immediately called the property manger and within 5 minutes help was at my door! Amazing service and always courteous!

This place has been an absolute nightmare, do not come here. My "ready to move in" apartment did not have air conditioning or hot water upon my moving and an overpowering smell of cigarettes I have not been able to get rid of that is now totally seeped into and has destroyed all my furniture and clothing. I've contacted the leasing office several times who continues to promise to "send someone down" which never happens. I haven't even been at the Retreat for a whole week yet and I'm already looking for a way out of the lease. I've spent over $300 of my own money on cleaning supplies and STAYING AT A HOTEL trying to clean the apartment well enough to make it livable but guess what, A/C and hot water is broken too so what's the point?

I enjoy the office staff, neighbors in my building, convenience to nearby shopping and view from my apartment. Overall it is a good place to live.

We've lived here for nearly 8 years and that should speak for itself. The management team has always been great, friendly and helpful. As a long standing resident I have of course witnessed the growing pains during the transition of ownership and have to say it has been smooth and an improvement in the processes. The community spaces are always kept clean, with the maintenance team doing their best given how busy it can be around the property.

This honestly is a nice place to live. Front office is terrible at answering calls, and following up once you get through after trying for 3 hours every day for 3 days, but if you don't have issues, the apartments are nice, the parking is spacious, the pool is sweet, and people in the area are generally nice. Would I have chosen this apartment, knowing my frustrations with the front office? Oddly, yes. Still worth it.
Living here makes us feel safe. We also know that whatever maintenance issue we have, it will be solved promptly.
