Property Ratings at Retreat At The Park
My sister and I were considering moving into this apartment and we drove 9 & a half hours to see this properly but in person it was the complete opposite and the apartment had a very weird smell to it but the thing that made me reject instantly were the group of men outside of the apartment and they started talking about me sexually as soon as my sister and I turned the corner. Felt very unsafe about the entire situation
I love the new playground and that I got to bring my dog with me. The property and staff are amazing and I'm happy to call Retreat at the Park home!!
I love living here!! The manager really goes above and beyond to ensure that your needs are met.
This place has really turned around from a couple of years ago. Prior management and maintenance had really ran down the property and had allowed ANYTHING in. The new management and maintenance have done a great job in turning around the property since last year. The manager doesn't allow for things to go on at the property and she makes sure that maintenance is completed. I was really considering on moving due to issues that prior management wouldn't fix, but the new manager allowed me to transfer to a newly remodeled apartment so she could fix mine. I really would and will recommend this place.

Whitley is such an understanding person. She let me just spill out my whole life and was still very patient with me. She has helped me with the application process. I will apply here with them just for the simple fact that they are willing to listen without being rude or kicking you off of the phone.

This is the only apartments that I have spoken with so far that have a decent deposit and monthly rent for the pets. Ms. Tabitha was very patient with me and all of my questions. I will definitely apply with them!

Thank you so much for your review! We definitely look forward to having you as a resident with us. Our pets are family too and we are so pleased that we could assist you in finding your new home!
The staff here are great and polite. I drove the property yesterday and the landlady were putting grass seed down. She was so sweet about helping me into the office and willing to speak with me. They gonna help me get a downstairs apartment when it come open. I look forward to living here with the new management. I like that the drugs and idiot teenagers are gone. This landlady has done a lot to change this place. It dont look anything like a couple years ago.
The people were really nice here. I used to live here a few years ago and they have changed the property a lot. My apartment had so much work that needed to be done when I was here and no one would fix it. These apartments now that they had shown me are really nice and they have changed a lot of things like the fixtures and the flooring. I look forward to moving here. The leasing agent was really sweet and was very helpful when showing me the apartment.

I am very sorry for what you experienced before, but I am very thrilled that you could tour and experience the changes and upgrades that we have done. We are working very diligently to continue to improve the property in all aspects and encourage everyone to stop by and tour with us.
Finding a good property to live at has been time consuming to say the least, that's not only affordable but well-maintained and close to where I work. I have only lived here a few months but can say that the new management has been making some great changes here, including new landscaping, a nice park for the kids, and re-doing the apartments to be modern and like a new apartment. You can't beat the price here, and I am looking forward to seeing what else is done here to make it even better.

We are so thrilled that you are enjoying your apartment and the complex. We strive to better the community while also providing more additional features for our residents. Thank you for choosing us to be your home!
This apartment complex has improved greatly!! The new manager is great and she makes sure that maintenance gets done. They are changing the looks and the apartments and they have built a brand new playground for the kids. It seems to me that she is working so hard to clean up the environment, so there are no issues. She gets rid of all of the problems out here, so she is not friends with anyone out here. The brand new maintenance that has started this month is getting things done quickly. I am looking forward to transferring to my newly renovated apartment!

I am very glad that you are enjoying the changes that we are currently doing. We really appreciate our residents and look forward to bringing more exciting items to the table.
The new landlord is worse than the last. Don't come here. Apparently she uses people she knows to go around and pretend to be your friend so he and she can go inside and see how you live and she comes up with crazy unexplainable reasons for it. Also, she never fixes anything and she gives the "maintenance man" the key to everyone's apartment and will not resist to go in whether you are there or not. I have a recording of him saying she gave him keys and told him to do it.

We have recently changed out our maintenance team and now offer on-call and after hours services. Kindest Regards, Retreat at the Park Management Team

Our policy, which is the same as other communities, is that the maintenance only enters an apartment due to receiving a service request, walking with a vendor, or an emergency. I was out for a few weeks in October and when I came back and heard about the concerns, I did ensure that the employee in question was no longer employed with the company. No maintenance is allowed in an apartment without one of the above and if it is a service request, a copy should be left in your residence. Please feel free to call the office and report any concerns so that we can ensure that you have the best experience as possible. Also, the property does have a new maintenance personnel currently on the property.
I lived here two years. The mail key broke after a month. Still no new key even though I ask every week now since they claim they forgot. Half of the complexes complain of the same thing. Had to put a hold on my mail at the post office. The water keeps getting cut off and they blame a burst pipe but no one is outside working on it. This is the third day of that. Maintenance isn't good. Just void this place. Also, infestations from new people moving in and it spreads fast without anyone else knowing where it came from and if you aren't there when the exterminator comes you get charged even though you didn't cause the infestation.
Property Manager at Retreat At The Park, Responded To This Review
I am sorry for the inconvenience that the water line break caused. We had three major water line breaks occur back to back and we did try to ensure that they were fixed in a timely manner. Pest control is free for the whole property, but some tenant-caused pest concerns maybe charged back to the resident. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office.
