Property Ratings at Reveal
If I could give them zero stars, I would. I have lived here for the past three years, and they're getting worse yearly. They have over 40 units available, yet they lack response to their own tenants and wonder why no one stays. do not waste your money here. Buildings are always dirty and smell, and the parking structure is the same. They purposely don't respond to you when your year lease is up, so automatically, your lease goes up the highest. There is a huge pest problem that they can't get done. The balconies look like storages. Some tenants let their dogs pee on their balconies, which results in a bad smell and all sorts of things. And did I mention their management yet? They are very disrespectful and do not care about your emails, calls, and any of the tenant's needs. So do yourself a favor and research before renting one of their apartments. As mentioned, the number of units they have available speaks for itself.
Absent management that refuses to help with a neighbor who has been harassing me since I moved in. Dirty pool. Disgusting trash piles in trash room and garage. No staff or security on site. No access to community room. Dog poop everywhere. Peoples patios filled with junk. Tons of ants and gnats.
Nice apartments yeah most places are where the issue lies is that the leasing office assumed I am lying about this situation. The last management gave me a single parking pass that I immediately displayed on my dash. Come to find out that there is two separate passes needed for my car and they want to tow mine out of my own apartment building. I was only given one, yet because a piece of paper says other wise they want to charge me for the previous managements mistakes. Truly disappointed in this “management.”
Pros: The maintenance team was great & friendly, there is an online portal where you can submit tickets and when ever we had a problem it was dealt with in a timely manner. There is a gated parking garage at no additional charge and a security guard that roams it at night. We have had no issues with theft/break ins personally. Neighbors are nice, mostly quiet. There are food trucks outside once a week which is a nice treat. The pool/gym and other amenities are maintained and nice. The interior of the apartments are great, high ceilings, nice appliances and kitchens. Cons: Neighbors leaving their trash in the trash room instead of putting it down the chute. Not a big deal, just annoying when you go into the trash room. The dog park area smells like dog pee. The block we are in is very nice and feels safe but you are on the border of Canoga Park so it's not as nice once you leave the area. By no means dangerous though, just homeless around. Neutral: The price is high but the quality of the complex is as well. I am moving out to move into another Essex property.
I was not satisfied at all after the five months living in a reveal apartment. When i was moving out I had cleaned up the whole unit,and i had even washed the carpet like the first day that I moved in and took photos of it.Having said that, i didn’t receive my deposit completely and they even charged me for a cleaning fee! i had also paid 1 months rent for moving out earlier as a penalty. I was not satisfied and don’t recommend it at all.????????????
DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY TAKE ALL OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WITH NO DAMAGE DONE TO ANYTHING. they don’t tell you but carpet and paint has a 5 year life span. If you don’t live here that long they charge you about 700 for it. That’s just a 1 bed 1 bath! For your safety do not move in here. Very unprofessional staff!
Worst part is management team. Trying to speak with one of them since 15 days ago and everytime the reception keep telling me someone call me soon!! Soon is more than 15 days. The property is dirty, always smell trash at corridors and once a week you hear fire alarm which is very very laod! If you moved in, forget about your downpayment, they will charge you very more when you moved out less than 5 years because of remaining life time of paint and carpet! If you like your family DO NOT think about this Luxury ???? apartment.
I just got married and we both fell in love with Reveal right away! we wanted safety and luxury but got so much more. the staff is very friendly and always available to help, the facility is clean and well taken care of! the apartment is beautiful and community here is great! i am so happy i made the choice to move in here!
