I wish to share my experience with Reveille Apartments to help prospective tenants make informed decisions. It is crucial to understand that Reveille management appears dismissive of tenant health, well-being, and valid grievances. Instead, rely on third-party collectors to enforce unjust claims based on the terms and conditions included in the lease agreements, which are typically signed without proper diligence. Many tenants assume these contracts are standard and fair, overlooking potential issues related to basic rights and ethical considerations. I relocated to Reveille in 2023, primarily due to budget constraints. One of the most concerning practices among many apartment complexes, including Reveille, is the failure to show units prior to signing the lease. This means that potential tenants are often unaware of the apartment's actual condition until they are already committed. Upon moving into a second-floor unit, my friend and I were greeted with a disheartening reality: severe cockroach infestations. Despite our requests for another unit, management's response was unhelpful. They assured us that pest control measures would be implemented, but these proved largely ineffective, as the infestation persisted. We felt trapped and pressured, facing threats of penalties for seeking alternative housing options based on the ongoing lease agreement, which exploits students already experiencing financial strain. We attempted to adapt to our grim living conditions, employing various methods to keep pests at bay. However, this situation was untenable, and it was evident that the unit was uninhabitable. Despite providing evidence of the infestation, management repeatedly insisted we endure the situation until the lease was up. Upon our departure time, we made every effort to return the apartment in a clean state, comparable to the condition in which we received it. Regrettably, we were billed exorbitant cleaning fees long after we moved out, a troubling consequence following a year of dealing with unacceptable living conditions. Additionally, potential tenants should be aware that Reveille imposes additional monthly utility charges that can significantly increase total living expenses. These 6 to 7 line items in their utility charges e.g., electricity, insurance, admin fee, utility fee, trash, water, and sewer, commission etc. and though some of these are common with all other apartments, they often escalate as the leasing period progresses.

Recently moved into Reveille this Fall and the Property Manager Nicki was so professional and understanding with any issue I had. So grateful that she took the time to meet with me and my roommate, she took care of our concerns right away and was incredibly informative helping us better know the resident life. The maintenance staff was very professional & friendly. Love my stay at Reveille so far, welcome week was G.O.A.T.E.D. can't wait to see what's in store. Very appreciative of all the staff :)

Reveille is such a great place to live! The rent is affordable and doesn’t feel as though your breaking the bank each month. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The apartments are clean and well kept too! If you ever have an issue maintenance is always there to fix the issue and are very nice and polite. Overall great place to live!

Living at reveille ranch has been the BEST living experience. This is my second year here and I'm already signed up for my third. The staff is so nice and totally willing to help. Anytime you walk in they stop what they're doing to help you. Maintenance gets to any problem you have within a few days. And if its something serious, they get to it right away or the next morning. I love my apartment! Anytime my friends come over they tell me how cute the apartment is, and we love using the pool! The location is really good for both blinn and A&M students. Its kind of a half way point in between the two. The events are fun, especially our pool parties! There is always free food events at least twice a month typically, which is always nice. I love it here and always tell my friends looking for new places to live here.

I just moved in and it was a very smooth stress free process. I was referred by my friend who also lives here, and I’m glad I listened. The staff is friendly, they let you know smaller work orders may be delayed due to the amount of people moving in, but I appreciated that transparency. I definitely didn’t get that at my previous apartment. 10/10!

After moving out, I was charged for cleaning, stove repair, and carpet cleaning—fees that were unreasonable given the condition I left the unit in. Reveille Ranch replied an email confirming I wouldn’t be responsible for the carpet cleaning fee.

I have lived here for 2 years. Me and my roommates like the resident activities and the prizes they give away. The staff is nice and always calls us by our name. We like our neighbors and we all hang out when not studying. We plan to stay for another 2 years.

I have lived here for 3 years have enjoyed it. I never had any issues, and maintenance tends to items quickly. They have recently made upgrades to the gym and computer lab, so they are listening to what people do have to say. I think overall, it’s a great place, especially for the price.

The worst management ever, no one has an answer for your questions. One night I got locked out and had to wait for 2 hours to get someone to help. They broke open my door as they didn’t find a better way. I had to stay in the apartment without a front door for a week. Later they came in to do a temporary fix. Which was holding the door but a firm push would break open the door. I’ve reach out to the management countless times only to hear they were waiting for the new door to deliver. Finally after 6 months, I told them I would walk out of the contract that’s when they fixed it. Other things I noticed, The corridors are extremely dirty files with bird poop. They only clean it every fall because that when new resident would move in.

Good feel, very homey and spacious, especially for the price. You would think that it wouldn’t be like that. One thing I like the most is the stand up shower as well. Mangers take care of issues whenever I need help with them and try there best with everyone. Definitely worth the money.

Lived here 2 years. Pros: Cheap, close (enough) to campus, furnished. Cons: Not so good management, sloppy maintenance team, dealt with cockroaches and other infestations, hallways are dirty. Overall gross.

I had the same experience as the previous review. The apartment complex is not honest. I was told since we signed a lease at the beginning of COVID, that my daughter would be put in the building right by the bus pickup (in the larger room) since she would not be taking a car up and we were so early. When she was assigned the front room, on the 3rd floor, in another building, I questioned it. I was told that she was matched based on their roommate matching system and that was where she is assigned. They also said they do not promise rooms like that (my bad for not getting it in writing). Her roommates were all older, had drinking parties, smoked pot, etc which left her confined in her room. She didn't want to report them for fear of retaliation. When she moved out, we paid the carpet cleaning fee (as per the contract), and cleaned the apartment way better than it was when we moved in. I have both before and after pictures. After months of trying to get the specifics from Greystar (the managing complex), Reveille Ranch finally sent them some pics of some dust on one of the ceiling fan blades, a line of mildew behind a door, a stain in the corner behind the toilet, some dust on the baseboard above the carpet, and a couple of chips in the sink (that I have proof were there on move in). They are charging the "standard" $50 cleaning fee. When I questioned the state of the apartment when we moved in, they said it wasn't there. I have the pics and wrote dirty on the move in form (trying not to be too picky), but the pics speak for themselves.

I have been living here since July 30, 2020. Overall, it has been decent and was one of the cheapest options when it came to furnished one bedrooms. It is a pretty quiet community. When I first moved in the apartment was not the cleanest. There was dirt and other debris all over the floors and carpet. I did my best with what was given and created a cozy little apartment. Throughout my time here I have had to deal with cockroaches and even had an incident where a mouse was in my apartment… I think I spent more time cleaning throughout my almost a year living here and was paranoid that something else would happen. I think some of these problems can be avoided if they would be more careful when fixing the apartments. You can see the carelessness when they painted the walls and ceilings.The weight room is alright. I wish they would fix some of the machines as they have been broken since I’ve moved in. The staff is a hit or miss. There are some very friendly and helpful people in the office but I have also dealt with some rude individuals. Especially in recent months… very disorganized. The new management is horrible and very rude

Excited to live here again next year! It's a quiet area, really clean andfits in my price range. The staff are really friendly and any time I have a maintenance issue they are really fast. Can't really ask for more in a college town.

Would give it 0 stars if we could. The apartment looks nothing like the model. There are constant leaks and break ins. You'll regret it if you move in. Happy I'm moving out soon.

It was an alright college apartment. Although the apartments usually always had something wrong with them. I had friends there also with rooms and between us 3, we would have something wrong with our apartment every week. It just got annoying and their service is awful.
