Property Ratings at Revere
Do not rent from here. I have lived at Revere for 1 year and have had both my bike stolen from their "secure" bike storage and windows smashed and things stolen out of my car from the parking garage. The apartment complex sent their apologies but no compensation for this with recommendations to go through our car and renters insurance which often has a high deductible and still is costly. For the cost of rent and parking I would expect Revere to do better and have a higher quality security system

Hi User, we're truly sorry to hear about your experiences. While we do have measures in place to try and prevent this from happening, we can never guarantee security. We understand that this is frustrating, and we are here to discuss your concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at revere@avenue5apt.com or 1 503-227-2787 to discuss this further.
We have lived at the Revere for over one year now, at first it’s been fine but like most shared living where you can hear your neighbors. When we first moved in we were told that you could not hear your neighbors but you definitely can. Recently we have neighbors whom we share a balcony with and they let their dogs use our section as a bathroom. We notified management early on about this and the waste was cleaned up but it continued. We just stopped using the patio all together and once we went outside we found that it was covered with flies from pet waste. We have a 1 year old child and there’s no way we can allow them to play on the patio. Recently we had another discussion with management about the patio since the dogs are now much more aggressive with each other and one has shown aggression towards our toddler in the hallway. So now we have paid for 6 months of rent for a patio that we can not use since it’s turned into a bathroom for neighbors dogs and most certainly unsanitary for our child. Don’t bother reading any replies of anyone trying to resolve this problem, there has been zero effort in trying to reimburse us for the money which we pay for on the patio which we have paid for over the last 6 months. We have been told that a barrier would be put in place but nothing happened and that was almost a week ago. Today we got to watch as one of the dogs took a dump right in front of our balcony door.

Hello JJ, It's always our goal to provide excellent service, and we're very sorry to hear that this may not have reflected in your experience. Since we have recently just become aware of this situation, we have worked with your neighbors to provide a plan for their pets. As discussed yesterday, we are looking for long-term permanent options for this situation and may need just a few business days to provide the solution. We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, but we can assure you we are doing everything we can for your family's comfort. If there’s anything more we can do to assist you in the time being, please don’t hesitate to call or drop by our office anytime to speak with our community manager. The Revere PDX Team
There are amenities, however restricted to the hours of business. I work 8-5 and have no opportunity to use the amenities that I pay for. When I voiced my concern about the amenities, I was told there isn't anyone you can contact about that and the owners are set in their ways...I think the best thing you can do is to not rent here and find somewhere else, which is exactly what I'll be doing soon. The apartment itself is ok with nothing setting itself apart from any other apartment, however you pay a premium for that, because I'm sure the owners think they can charge what they want. My unit is also by the garbage area which 1/2 the building is. 2-3 times a week around 2am, 4am and 6am you'll hear the banging of 3 dumpers or clinking of glass...Advise looking else where.

We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed, and we understand that limitations due to current events can be frustrating. We are proceeding with caution as we move through the phases of reopening using CDC and state guidelines and will keep the community informed of any updates. You’ll be happy to hear that our fitness center is currently open 7 days a week and we have recently revised hours to better accommodate our residents while still following the CDC guidelines. The fitness center is now open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. If you're interested in transferring apartment homes, we're more than happy to discuss options with you. Please feel free to contact our staff at 503-227-2787 or at leasing@reverepdx.com to discuss further. Thank you, The Revere PDX Team
Revere did not live up to our expectations at all. 8 hour backyard fires starting at 6 and going until about 2 am 1-3 night per week. Poor sound insulation, many instances of broken appliances, poor responsiveness from staff who value sales and gaining new tenants over serving those that are already here.

Update added below on 4.8.20 - First Review on 2.8.20 Unfortunately, I have been communicating with Revere/ Fore Apartments since April 2019 and living here since June 4th. I have postponed this review in hope that Revere would make up for their service, attitude, and empty promises. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that it was just a very very long transition of a brand new apartment. (Even though Fore is a multi-billion developer of apartment buildings..maybe next one) Since the beginning they made it sound like it was too good to be true. Offering options, amenities, and services that they didn't have or didn't have the power to offer; leading to them being revoked after singing the lease. They have continuously been more occupied with potential tenants then current tenants. Doing everything they can true or false to get someone to move in. As one of the first 5 tenants to move in the brand new building I had the luxury to get stuck in the elevator on move in day, my apartment was dirty, I had green water, the promised storage didn't arrive for 3 months and they made me fight for amenities that were promised and so on and so on. Neither Revere or Fore property management was or have been helpful to make this feel like home. They pass all of their responsibilities off to someone else until it never gets resolved or simply do not care enough to hear or help. It is unfortunate because the view, location and appliances are very nice. Although the building looks well put together, it was constructed too quickly leading to paper thin plywood flooring, (live loud and true) constantly broken elevators, amenities and parking arms/garage doors(amenities that you have to pay extra for). You might have some luck on the fifth floor when no one is on the roof. We could go on, either way, it has been a very long 8 months and looking forward to moving out. Thank you Revere Update - Issues have not been resolved. 10 months in. Almost there. *We understand that there were some initial challenges at the time of your move-in, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we resolved these issues*- Revere - NOT RESOLVED The transfer option includes losing any concession and paying additional transfer fee's and rent. Satisfaction is not important to them - because they will not help. Revere continues to provide no action, responsibility, or accountability for anything they have said or attempt to do. This apartment is not worth your time or money
