SoNo, short for South of North Avenue, is an urban district of Atlanta that sits between Downtown and Midtown. This quaint neighborhood borders Interstate 85, so commuting is easier than ever. Property Ratings at Revival Lofts
Revival lofts has not felt like a safe space for a large duration of our lease. Between lack of management and poor safety protocols, I urge Braden Fellman to look into hiring on site staff or safety personnel. Revival lofts is the only building on this street without on site personnel and subsequently allows for many uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situations for residents. There have been multiple unhoused break-ins, car break-ins, mail theft, a non-resident living in our stairwell for months at a time, residents getting trapped in the elevators, and multiple weeks without an operating elevator. When concerns about these events are brought to the office’s attention, the general reaction is to deflect & blame the residents for letting non-residents into the building. Not taking ownership of these problems has left a bad taste in our mouths. Our unit itself is great and has so much potential to be a wonderful place to live, but it is hard to look past the safety concerns and lack of staff for the Virginia Highland’s/O4W office. Also important to note that the windows do not open (gets stuffy), the basement and ground floor have flooded, and of course there is always a broken elevator.
I wish we had checked the BBB rating (D-), and other reviews for the Braden Fellman Group before we leased in this building! While I really like the actual building and my unit, and it is nice to be the first to live in a newly renovated space, this is completely negated by the poor, almost nonexistent management. Concerns are difficult to address because of the slow to no response (SAFETY ISSUES, needing help if you are locked out, missed pest control, etc). This building is advertised as “controlled access” but it is not! Nonresidents are able to gain full access to the building and the parking garage thru an entrance that building management refuses to lock/secure. Their response to complaints that people are wandering around inside the building and sleeping in the stairwells and in parking garage is that there is nothing they can do (dumpster area access is also unsafe as this area is routinely used as a bathroom/changing area). I will not be renewing my lease and per conversations with others in the building, neither will many of the current residents. I gave this property a poor rating based on the management, especially regarding safety and security.
