On the west side of the Clear Fork Trinity River, less than 10 minutes from Downtown Fort Worth, lies the West 7th neighborhood. The area radiates out from the thoroughfare for which it’s named, stopping at West Lancaster Ave. in the south, Monticello in the west, and University Park in the north.
At the center of the West 7th neighborhood you’ll find Montgomery Plaza and Crocket Row, two massive collections of stores and restaurants that are the calling cards for the area. Oyster bars, taco shops, natural grocery stores, and more offer plenty of options to enjoy for a night out. Off of the main thoroughfare there’s a lot of new development going on. High-rise apartments are going up, as are chic modular homes. There are still plenty of quaint bungalows in the area, however, if contemporary isn’t your style.
There’s more to enjoy along the river as well. Trinity Park provides 252 acres to explore, including parks, trails, playgrounds, and a fishing pier.

Property Ratings at Revl Crockett Row
This apartment is very dirty and horribly managed. While the building structure itself is nice, the management has done such a poor job with this building leading to poop and pee stains everywhere, elevators that don't work often, and faulty appliances from washing machines to fire alarms that will keep you up for hours in the middle of the night. The place is so dirty that many apartments have a roach infestation problem. None of this has been properly addressed by management and, in the year I lived there, none of these issues were ever resolved. The garage gates often don't work posing a serious danger/security problem which is made worse by broken doors that don't need to be fobbed to get in. This area has multiple shootings in the past so this lack of security is a serious problem. Management is quite incompetent as well, with the leasing agents fully lying about pricing and other general apartment things. I was told I would get a referral for referring a friend to this complex but over the year they kept promising this referral money yet never delivered. And then at time of move out, they said it was too late and that there was nothing they would do about it. This was extremely frustrating as I had been reminding them monthly to look into this- shows the exploiting nature of the people who run this place. The price of this apartment is not worth the hassle- especially given the numerous other apartments that are in this area and that are much better managed. Revl keeps rebranding to erase the old reviews but neglect to fix the actual problems so they continue to accumulate these bad reviews. I truly have never lived in a more abysmal place, I would strongly reconsider if you are planning to live here.
My stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful. Not only because the facilities are new and beautiful, but also because the workers are very attentive. I have asked them for many favors which they are not obliged to do for me and they have always helped me, understood me and provided me with the best. Really a 10!
Frequent overflowing trash rooms and chutes, poorly maintained dog parks, inadequate cleaning staff resulting in disgustingly dirt common areas, pool is frequently green with algae, hallways reek of dog urine, maintenance team is extremely unresponsive, elevators, secured doors, and gates are frequently broken with unacceptably long downtime. I would not recommend this appartment.
Consistent maintenance issues that have not been resolved for over 3 years, 2 separate companies and 3 property management firms. Horrible dog owners let their dogs go wherever they want on the property without picking up after them. Trash piled up for days outside the trash room because they are too cheap to pay for valet trash, but don’t worry, they force you to pay for a delivery service in your lease instead. The electrical wiring is deteriorating and the pipes burst every freeze even though the building is only 5 years old. Stay away if you actually want to enjoy where you live.
We were about to sign our lease when we finally got to Fort Worth from out of state and were able to see the exact unit. I’m glad we did. I understand staffing is an issue at this time and this is no ding to them, but this property is very dirty. On paper it seems fabulous but it’s so large and not maintained. Our unit we were about to sign for was so dirty and they were still cleaning it when we got there…stains that weren’t going to be removed and the hallway did smell SO bad like dog pee. It was next to the dog run which did not look cleaned whatsoever. I hope that the property owner or management can get this under control because it seemingly has potential. Writing this so people like us can sort of know our experience. I’m so glad we didn’t decide to sign here after being able to see the property. The staff was helpful overall. This place just needs to be tended to badly!

The building is very very dirty. Carpets are stained with dog poo and pee. Also, I’m not 100% convinced that all these positive reviews are real. Seems highly unlikely.

Great location for an apartment! Staff is super nice and have great floor plan layouts. Zero complaints about noise, but be mindful if your apartment is facing West 7th.

On paper and pictures, this place seems like a great pace to live. I believe that’s about half true. When I came to tour, the person in the office had been working here only a few days. I was 10 minutes early to my appointment, but wasn’t attended until 1 hour after that. I should have taken that as a sign not to lease here. One main reason I left my other apartment was because of noise, little did I know that I was moving into an apartment where I would be able to hear the extremely loud music of the bars down the street. It’s so loud that it sounds like I’m down inside these bars/clubs. Wednesday-Sunday the music literally fills the room and does not allow me to sleep. Something that I wish that the person giving the tour was honest about. Fast forward to move in day, the apartment was DIRTY. Floors were so gross, grimy, and brown. Sink and dishwasher smelled terrible and took me TWO days to clean them. I’m so disappointed in the quality of the place and regret it every day.

Leasing staff is second to none from my experience. They are there to help and talk through individual concerns and are responsive to inquiries (email and in person). I absolutely love the way my apt is laid out as a B9 config and the views are absolutely amazing (one of the reasons why I leased where I did). Honestly feel like I dont want to leave (initial thought of course). Looking forward to finding things to do around the area.

The initial application and move in process was very difficult here. They were short staffed for a few months and always had people from other Greystar communities filling in. I had to physically go to the leasing office in order to get questions answered with the application and to even get my welcome letter a week from move in date. High costing Fetch delivery service fees were added to my monthly statement even though I was not told of this until move in. It actually delays yours packages from being delivered, making it less convenient at a high cost. Apartment we as not properly cleaned prior to move in. Amenities and hallways are not well maintained.

Was sent three text reminders for the tour we booked. After driving 50 minutes to get to Elan Crockett Row at the confirmed time, we were told sorry, we can't give you tour but you can watch a video as they are too short staffed to give a tour (or send a proactive cancellation of our tour).

I moved into Elan Crockett Row when I moved to Texas in 2019. At the time they had a different manager (Christie)- who's since been promoted (as she should have been). The property is beautiful. The location is fun. It can get a little wild on the weekends (not in the apartment complex, but the area around it. It is a college hot spot). The office staff is kind and helpful. Overall I had a very positive experience. There were issues from time to time, but it's the same stuff that always comes along with apartment living. I no longer live there after deciding it was time to buy, but I enjoyed the two years I had. If Mandy is still in the office, go find her! She's the best person ever!

Elan Crockett row has been nothing but a chase down since the moment we moved in. We came from Houston and getting a hold of anyone at this complex was absolutely impossible for months. No one answered the phones or emails. They have the worst communication, we arrived to move in and they let us know we needed a cashier check immediately to pay rent, 2 hours before they closed. We have not received a mailbox key and have been living here for 3 weeks. They rent system has changed effected our pro rated lease, that our contracts agreed to prior. The list truly goes on and on. I lived in a gray star community prior and would never recommend this location to anyone.

The noise level is also extreme so I dont recommend if you dont want to feel like your at varsity thursday-sunday from 9 pm to 2:30 am

I would highly advise looking at other places. I hate to write a negative review, but I also hate for anyone else to go through the experiences we are going through at this property. My first and probably most important issue is the cleanliness. This is partly the tenants fault but also managements fault. On any given day you will find dog poop and beer cans scattered across the facility. The elevators and floors are absolutely disgusting and someone maybe cleans once a week at most (should be daily). The second issue I have is the gym. The gym is absolutely filthy and constantly out of cleaning wipes. The fans are also missing remotes and haven't worked in months. These 2 issues are completely unacceptable, especially in the era of COVID-19. The next issue is that the study space is constantly out of printer paper and printer ink. Not once have I been able to print a document since living here. Another issue is that everything inside the apartments is built very cheap and you can notice a lot of issues with shortcuts taken and repairs left unrepaired. For the amount we pay, you think the company would take a little more pride in their work. On a positive note, I will say that the location is amazing, but I would take your money to a better "luxury" apartment that will maintain a cleanly environment and upkeep their facilities. Paying this much for rent - you would think that Elan and Greystar would care a little more about their tenants and their facilities. I must say, I'm not surprised at how many apartments are available in our building.

I love living at Elan Crockett row. It is safe, kept clean, and management is great. They are always trying to find way's to make our life more convenient and I love that. If I dont find a Condo or townhouse this year, I will most likely continue living in the community.

My husband and I looked at about 10 apartments prior to making the decision to move into Elan Crockett Row. The location, modern interior of the apartments, and amenities drew us to live here, and we have really been enjoying it!

Elan Crockett is the place you want to live and the place you to be. Take a stroll down West 7th; go check out the Montgomery Plaza or the Fort Worth Police Memorial just right off the Trinity River. So, go play basketball or soccer just 10 mins away or go to the Kimbel Art Museum for "Free Fridays" and have the best lunch/dinner you could ever have. Just within walking distance.

Elan Crocket Row has been the best apartment I have ever leased with! They really impressed me with their knowledge and customer service during my tour. They have continued being extremely accommodating and make my life so much easier because they go above and beyond. The security is really great here and its in such a prime location!

I love this place! If the location wasnt enough of a draw for you, the management is awesome: maintenance requests are handled quickly, and they are extremely communicative. Elan Crockett Row goes above and beyond to make the apartment complex feel like a community in their actions, events, and treatment of residents. Im going to miss this place when I move!
