Vintage stores brush shoulders with restaurants and coffee shops on Airport Blvd., providing plenty to do for the students and families in the area. Even though there are plenty of conveniences in this popular locale, Lamar Blvd. and the I-35 will have you in Downtown Austin in no time if you feel like venturing out.

Property Ratings at REVL on Lamar
The building is very nice and clean. Location is great and management staff have been good. The concern is the safety of the “secure” garage. I thought that my car was safe but it was recently stolen from the in of the upper levels. Who/ how are people getting in? After I reported it to police.. I found out there had been other damaged/ stolen cars recently that management didn’t tell us about. Why wasn’t security increased? It may not have changed my outcome but we should have been notified Especially since there has been security issues at the pool causing damages and pool closures
Currently, I’m giving the REVL 5 stars. So far I am enjoying my experience with living here; I love the modern architecture of the building, appliances, and overall layout of each apartment. I love the poolside view, the fitness center, elevator, business room and the cleanliness of the building! I feel safe and comfortable, but most of all- Fantasia and Montana have excellent customer service skills. They are super kind and professional& very easy to talk to. I’ve lived at other apartments to where management was horrible, thus bad reviews being left and lots of people moving out. As of right now, I feel most likely I will renew my lease here. Thanks Montana and Fantasia! Keep up the great work. Thank you for making me feel valued as a resident while living here.

The building is poorly constructed and the building management does not care about your experience. The poor construction leads to things constantly breaking. No hot water, pipes bursting, clogged drains, construction work in the hallways. Also, the is NO sound insulation and you can hear your neighbors walking around. The building management is rude and will do very little to help you. They will however, add more and more $$ to your monthly fees for services that don’t work (trash pickup, package concierge, etc.) Save your sanity and money. Move somewhere else.

My experience here has been great. I moved to Austin by myself for work and I’m glad I found a place where I can not only feel safe and comfortable but I can be supported by the leasing staff. They are always willing to help and tend to any issues in a timely manner.

From the very beginning we have not gotten what we paid for. We were given a cheap loner refrigerator instead of the promised stainless steel appliances. The coffee machine is always broken. The pool was not completed until 6 months after we moved in. The common areas are never clean and things are constantly broken. TVs not setup correctly, always out of towels at the gym, refreshments never stocked. The doors and gates are always broken and homeless people roam the building at all hours of the night. We’ve had a catalytic converter stolen from the “secure garage”, bikes stolen from being locked up in the inside stairwell, my wife was chased down the hallway and into our apartment by a homeless guy who let himself in. There is trash piling up all over the place. I could go on. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I do not like living here and I would like to tell you why. The first thing you notice when you look at the apartment is the board around the door frame. It looks really cheap and makes the apartment look unfinished from the outside. I’ve had multiple people comment on it when I have them over. I signed the lease based on a video they sent me of the apartment, and I really, really wish I had come in person. I can hear my neighbors, all of them, very easily and all the time. There are major security issues with this place and I don’t want to get into to detail, but most of the doors that are meant to be locked remain open. They mentioned in the video they sent me that the windows were thick and you wouldn’t be able to hear people outside. That is not true. I can hear everything. People drive very fast in the garage, and they don’t have mirrors or anything up for when you turn a corner. I’ve seen several near accidents as a result. I have absolutely zero cellular service in my apartment. I have to use Wi-Fi to call people and it is constantly dropping and having issues. There are some apartments that welcome feedback and honestly believe that it is the best way to make the community better, and there are some that seems to think you are in the wrong for when you offer feedback. In my experience, the management here does not want to fix the problems that exist. I think they are rude and helpful. As I write this I have the heater on and there is cold air blowing out instead. It’s unbelieve. I’m paying nearly $3000 to move out early because it’s so awful here.

The apartments and staff are wonderful and I can't wait to get to know more of the tenants. I really like living here but there are the usual odd issues with new construction. If they can resolve those, this place will be amazing!
