Property Ratings at Rezide at Uptown
This complex was nice when we first moved in but after some changes in management it is horrible. Maintenance requests are not answered and management needs to be hunted down in order to get any action on anything. The pool is out of commission just as much as it is in service. Even when it is in service, I am hesitant to use it as I was made aware that this complex has two violations with the city for the water conditions. We voiced concerns regarding the declining conditions here when the rent was raised a couple months ago and were reassured by Jayd (new property manager) that things would be improving now that she is in charge. Things have continuously got worse since she took over and she no longer even responds to calls and emails. I know one previous renter who is currently in a legal matter with the complex due to the conditions. Several of us are on the verge of escalating things and trying to get out of our leases. If you are thinking about moving here, do yourself a favor and stop anyone you see around the complex and ask them how they feel about living here. I hope that the owner of the complex becomes aware of the conditions and finds a new property management company.
The management office will hang up on you when you are upset about the pool being closed AGAIN. They don’t keep the pool clean or fixed. The pump is always broken and they claim they clean it everyday but the tiles I pulled out of the pool last weekend are still there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. High rent for what you get and you don’t get much other than location . Don’t bother renting here.
I had driven by Rezide for weeks before finally deciding to stop in for a tour. The Mid-Century Modern feel and open concept units won me over immediately! Also, there are less than 50 units in the community which makes it feel very safe and secure. But the deciding factor really came down to my interaction with Albert, the Community Manager; who is as warm and friendly as they come. In the 3 months since moving in, he has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are happy, and the maintenance team is great too! As for the neighborhood, it's close to everything! Biltmore Fashion Park is a short drive away. So is Whole Foods, Fry's and The Corner Bakery. Even better, The Phoenix City Grille, Lucy's, and lots of other great spots are all within walking distance. Bonus: the 51 is less than a minute away!!!
After a complete renovation, Rezide caught my attention. Cool and contemporary, the kitchen and bathrooms have been totally redone in a cool, modern style with eye catching light fixtures, stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, new flooring, a washer and dryer, and neat little touches. The best part is that I can walk to Lucy's for a morning coffee, Z Tejas, Phoenix Bakery, and Richardsons––my fave! Rezide's pool area is also really nice. And, now that it's been redone a better class of tenants is moving in to replace some of the riff raff that I noticed when I toured the property a couple years ago.
Rezide is in the center of it all! You are literally a brisk walk to everything you need!500 feet from the following~ If you want a romantic evening out you have Z tejas. If your a sports junkie there is the Garage and Zipps! Lucis is the perfect place to meet for coffee and business also you have Starbucks. If your a social butterfly you can ride your beach cruiser over to the Vig for live music and mingling on Sundays. Jesse James wellness center is the perfect spot for a healthy juice and lifestyle that has massage and entertainment! Living at Rezide your never short on options of things to do nearby. The management is professional, efficient, and strives to keep his residents happy and goes above and beyond to do so. The grounds are kept in perfect condition;the scenery will place you at peace. If you travel for business this is the perfect place to call a second home if you work in downtown phoenix or Biltmore area which are heavily populated for the business professional in phoenix ! Your right next door to the 51 freeway for work. Central central central is Rezide!
