The staff is unknowledgeable about anything going on The CVS and Giant seem convenient but they are a joke - not secure and not well stocked Parking garages and metro station are a hub for homeless people and don't feel safe Your mail + packages won't be safe Elevators go out frequently Communications are extremely lacking

Great apartment complex with friendly staff! Proximity to metro is in incredibly convenient. Apartments are modern and reasonably priced. The Alamo drafthouse cinema nearby is another great perk!

Goood staff with a very good location right next to the metro. Security and safety around the building can be a concern especially early morning or late at night. Car safety and security has been an issue for me.

Rhode Island Row is a super convenient NE DC location with close proximity to the Metro and Brentwood neighborhood amenities. The Alamo Drafthouse theater, Giant grocery store, and RI Row businesses like CVS, Chipotle, Truist Bank, the DC DMV, and Dunkin Donuts are with in steps of the apartment building.

I have lived at Rhode Island row since 2016. Over that time the maintenance team has been awesome. The front desk at 2350 has changed a few times but the people there are always wonderful. The building is close to the metro station so easy access to the rest of the city via the red line. The building has a pool with fire pit, a gym and a green garden roof with fire pit. There are a few grills on both sides of the building and on Washington Pl you have a chipotle and Jersey Mike’s! Also there is a giant grocery store up the hill within walking distance!

The experience from staff plus House keepers are awesome. It's joyable to be living in a good environment and we'll manage. Looking forward to meeting people in the community.

I’m largely satisfied with my experience here. The quality for money is unmatched! There are just a few things that I would expect from a “luxury” apartment experience that I’m not getting and have outlined below. (1) Residents are constantly leaving trash bags on the floor or in the recycling bins instead of putting them down the chute. They also just leaving larger trash sitting by the door to the garage. Management doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it besides putting up signage and cleaning up after them. (2) guest parks passes are never available. (3) the newer people at the front desk are great but some of the people who work the front desk and have been here a while can be incredibly rude and unbothered to help or even acknowledge residents sometimes when they need something. (4) the building does NOT smell great. Not even the stairwells or the lobby can be guaranteed to smell okay or even be clean (stairs specifically).

Living here is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the location is super convenient and next to a metro stop, and the units are new and well maintained!

We love living at Rhode Island Row! Going on five years now, everyone is so friendly and the apartment itself is fantastic. Plenty of space and sunlight!

10/10 so far! From dealing with concierge to the maintenance. They are so attentive! Wonderful!!! Definitely plan on being here for sometime.

Ramfus is AMAZING! Pretty much the entire staff is amazing. They go the extra mile at move-in leaving snacks, sample-size soaps, and a roll of toilet paper--as well as granting us access to the garage to unload on multiple occasions. The leasing office staff are always ready and willing to help and ensure that residents enjoy their experience here. Also, the apartments are NICE. Though I've had to call maintenance on a few issues, they've always been quick to respond (within 48 hours) and solve the issue during their first visit to the apartment. So far, I've enjoyed my time here so much that my boyfriend and I plan on signing a two-bed unit once my lease is up.

I’ve been a resident for about a week as of today! When I say I am so happy with the customer service Ive received from the leasing office, the concierge and maintenance. They get things done! I give them a 10/10!

Everything is great besides the terrible internet service setup which I explained before. I also think monthly parking is a bit expensive. Other than that I love this place, the terrace is great and amenities are spectacular!

I lived there for almost 5 years, when I moved the rent rates were quite low for the DC Metro area and the location is impossible to beat. You've got many restaurants, grocery stores and the metro all walking distance. The neighborhood isn't the BEST but it is fine and I would often walk around especially in Brookland. The size of the unit (1 Bedroom) was quite generous but no balcony was a bit of a bummer. The 24/7 concierge is nice especially if getting locked out of your apartment and many of them knew the residents quite well. And they do try to keep the community clean. The bad, I would say a good chunk of the residents don't care about the community. Multiple reminders were send to not smoke in the buildings, people let there pets go to the bathroom wherever they pleased and didn't clean up after them, loud parties at the pool even after quiet hours. I would say a majority of residents were great but there were enough to bring down the community as a whole. Also, you are living basically in a metro station, homeless people and yelling throughout the day and night were a daily occurrence plus sirens at all hours. While the neighborhood wasn't bad you do have to keep your guard up, especially when going to the CVS. The property management company also seems to care more about prospective renters than the ones they already have, they recently re-did the lobby, clubhouse and fitness area while a lot of the units are starting to age (my units screen were all eating up by birds and the flooring was pealing). You have to pay for parking because there isn't street parking available. They do have a security guard that patrols but they are useless, usually sitting somewhere on their phone. Summed up, good not great.

Great experience living here. The staff is attentive and very welcoming. it’s nice being close to the MBT and a metro stop! I would recommend Rhode Island row!

I love living here. Quiet and always clean! I am literally by everything including: my job, stores, diners, and bars. Staff is always helpful and I love the concierge aspect.

Living at Rhode Island Row has been an exceptional experience. From the moment I moved in, the management team made sure everything was seamless and hassle-free. The location is unbeatable, with convenient access to shopping centers, public transportation, and parks.

Extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful front and back office staff. The hallways and common areas in all the buildings are kept clean and free of debris.

Great community and location. Extremely convenient to the Metro and shopping. Apartment Staff has always attentive to any issues or concerns .

I lived here for 3 years. In the last year there has been a sharp increase in crime, noise, and loitering individuals. I no longer feel safe walking my dog around the building alone

Dc is dc. For the neighborhood and area is great apartment and great stores in the area. I thought it would be a great area for young people but it seems not.

The process was Fast and efficient to review rental application. The rental and front desk staff were friendly and very helping throughout the entire rental process.

Leasing office is disorganized and unprofessional spent 8 months disputing overinflated utility charges with no urgency on their end to rectify the issue.

we are about to sign our 4th lease renewal… Rhode Island row is great, can’t imagine living anywhere else :-) friendly staff, great apartment layout and size & some of the best prices in DC

My husband and I have lived here for a month and have enjoyed it so far. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because sometimes certain utilities/facilities are out of order, which can be inconvenient. Otherwise, we have no reason to complain.

Living here has been great. I’m going on my fifth year and have had nothing but pleasant interactions with staff. The common areas are being renovated as we speak so that will be nice once it’s done!

There are quite a few homeless individuals that live outside around the buildings. Noise level, especially at night, seems to be increasing.

It’s a beautiful apartment with very friendly staff. The leasing agent Abi was very helpful was fantastic in our move in process. The only issue I have is the street noise such as people playing music outside. Usually it all quiets down by midnight though.

Love living here! Very metro accessible, plenty of shops nearby and the staff is so nice! Going on our fifth year in this apartment, love it!

So far my experience has been good. The elevator was down for a couple weeks which was inconvenient. But other than that the staff have been helpful and kind and I enjoy my apartment

I’ve been at Rhode Island Row for 4 years now and it’s been great. The apartments are modern and affordable. Staff has always been great here - from concierge to management to maintenance. The neighborhood keeps adding new things to do which is an added bonus.

BEYOND Amazing. Everyone in the office provides excellent customer service skills, I have couldn't work with a better team. Ahbi was exceptional, understanding, and always made sure to get back to me at a reasonable time.

Though the staff and maintenance crew are friendly the apartments are nice and in an area with a lot of stores/restaurants, the traffic caused by the busses and cars is really loud (constant honking), the gyms are small and frequently have equipment out of order, and there is a reoccurring security issue of unhoused people sleeping/smoking/littering in the stairway of the 2350 building.

I have had a pleasant experience living in this apartment because I like the unit and the staff has been proactive in addressing my concerns promptly. However, I removed one star from my rating because I have noticed that the security in this building seems to have weakened.

I have lived at Rhode Island Row since 2016. The maintenance team is incredible. The pool area is always very nice. The gym is small but has everything you need. The surrounding community is great there is Carolina kitchen, chipotle, Jersey, Mike’s and a giant food store right up the block. It’s super close to Metro I would recommend living here.

It’s a nice place to stay. Has a lot you can do as far as shopping and health. The events are nice. Staff is great. Neighbors are amazing. ??????

Rhode Island Row has been the best home for the last 3 years. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, location is convenient and maintenance responds so quickly! Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else

It’s been great living here! The apartment was in great condition upon moving in, concierge handled mail well, and maintenance is on top of any requests. The area is right by several bars and a movie theater which have been great additions to the neighborhood.

Great location and is convenient with all the eateries, DMV, and dentist, insurance companies within walking distance. Great place if you're looking for somewhere convenient and close to metro.

The amenities, location, and price at Rhode Island Row can not be beat. However, there is constantly people smoking and playing music in the stairwell, and the staff have taken no initiative to prevent this. There are frequently homeless people harassing residents, exposing themselves, and defecting around the premises.

I have resided in this complex for almost three years. Its a very safe building with 24 hourconcierge and efficient and caring staff. Ms.Ahbi, the Leasing Agent is the best. She provides an excellent and thorough tour and as is very concerned and will address issues that you may encounter as a resident. She is a warm caring staff member that makes the atmosphere an enjoyable and friendly one. Ms Ahbi is a great listener and in many ways aids in creating a sense of community and belonging. In addition, the Apt complex itself has several amenities-Business Center (computers/printers, shredder ).There are private meeting rooms, exercise rooms,recreation/party bar room, and swimming pool. Its located by a METRO station, banks,estaurants, CVS, urgent care, DMV Office, Dunkin Donuts, Home Depot, and Giant Food. Its an ideal place to live and to enjoy with monthly events designed just for its residents.

I had a tour of the property with Sam he was very helpful and attentive. Definitely need to look for him.

The staff here is great everyone wears a mask and practice social distancing. Felt safe while in the property due to its cleanliness and staff. Spoke to Sam who provided lots of helpful information and overall great service.

The Staff here, with the exception of a couple night attendants, are not helpful at all. It is like pulling teeth to get simple requests fulfilled, other than for maintenance. I have been locked out of my apartment and no one could let me in for hours. Two treadmills were broken here for about a month. The firepit hardly works. The coffee station in my building is constantly bare. They have limited parking for guests, which they did not explain at my lease signing. I had guests from out of town once and was told that they could not accomodate my parking request. Not to mention, it cost $10 a day for your guest to park here. Recently, they claimed to not have my package and had me file a claim with UPS, and my package was here all along. Bottom line, this is not the worst place to live, but do not expect top notch customer service and the amenities that they advertise or you will be greatly disappointed.

We recently just moved out of rhode island row. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You will literally and physically have to hold the hands of the staff in the leasing office. Please read some of the reviews listed about the office. In only one year, we had our apartment leased to another couple after we had put down a deposit, the leasing office misplaced our checks and money orders, you have to hunt down your packages, and the parking garage is disgusting. Also, while the pool is nice, it is rarely cleaned. They change the management just about every 3 months, so it is quite confusing and frustrating to say the least. It took us almost 4 months after we moved to get our security deposit back because the communication is so poor in the office. I also agree with the other comments about the noise. It's so noisy that you hear every single thing. I could never sleep in because you can hear everything from conversations, car horns, traffic, incoming/departing trains. One morning there was construction on the roads at 8am on a Saturday, just about 50ft from my window. And while having the train close is an asset, you feel can feel your room shaking between the train tracks and the cars on the road. There are some Pro's: The apartment residence is beautiful and the units are clean. Didn't see any mice or bugs throughout the complex, which is pretty rare for DC. I was always very comfortable and I felt safe. The complex is well lit and there are many food options down stairs if you like to eat out like myself.

Great location and very spacious apartments. I've enjoyed the convience, security and amenities this building provides. This is coming from someone with a child and we've never felt unsafe and have enjoyed our home here since moving to D.C.!
