Property Ratings at Ridge at Robinson
There are plenty of quality apartment complexes in Pittsburgh. The ridge at Robinson is not one of them. Half of the treadmills in the gym have been broken for over 6 months. Complaints are either ignored entirely or met with empty promises. I’d happily revise this review if something changes but based on my experience, I expect these treadmills will still be broken when I move out. Insane considering this is marketed as a luxury apartment complex.
So far the complex & room have been beautiful, just as described on the site if not better. Definitely looking forward to checking out the other amenities when the weather warms up. Requirements & logistics for moving in were relatively straightforward, however instructions & communication were sometimes murky at best. Often had to reach out to get updates and next steps on what was needed. However staff was very helpful and understanding each time so no complaints on that front. Also had a unique issue with being unable to apply online, but that was a technical one. All in all a very friendly community so far that's also a great value, if you manage to secure it at a decent price.
I have been living at the Ridge at Robinson apartments for approximately four years. I have been so pleased. The grounds are beautifully manicured…a welcome sight every day. The layout of my unit is especially well thought out, and designed thoughtfully. The materials used in construction are not only top notch but nearly maintenance-free! The staff here is knowledgeable and courteous. The service staff are on top of requests and prompt. The pool is beautifully maintained. All of these elements make living here so pleasant.
Great apartment complex, pool is a great bonus during the summer. Staff is helpful and answers all questions. The two bed two bathroom apartment is spacious.
We have been here for about 3 nights. Move in went well. Both Zack and Brendon have been very helpful. Glad there is a compactor on premises..so many boxes!
I’ve lived at the Ridge for going on 6 years now. It’s been a great place me, my kids and my dogs. Community is friendly and office staff is great. Maintenance is quick to come and help with any needs as well
Apartments are spacious and updated. The amenities are a huge perk with the pool/gym/etc. Had to submit a work order the first day and maintenance was there timely and resolved the issue. Overall, experience has been positive so far.
I have lived here for about 2-3 weeks and so far so good. Everyone I’ve met has been super kind and there are a lot of cute dogs in the neighborhood. Our apartment is super spacious, which has been really nice and a change of pace from our previous apartment. I can see Us being here long-term

Living at Ridge at Robinson has been peaceful! I love how spacious my unit is and the style of my apartment. I rated 4 stars because I feel the apartment is understaffed! They deal with maintenance requests quite slowly and don’t take some of them seriously… I also wish I knew when my packages arrived. Additionally, the stench of valet trash is worse than I expected (especially when the staff doesn’t monitor when residents put their trash out).
Poor communication with management. Complete lack of forethought or planning to keep residents informed. After living here over 2 years, the amount of trash and dog faces laying around is disgusting. Maintenance staff is great. Quick and knowledgeable as well as respectful.

Great location and nice amenities. Prices are a little bit elevated. Quality of the apartments in terms of isolating noise could be better. Responsiveness of the lease management team could be more timely.
The outside patio of a few people who live here is ghetto like with plastic fences etc. Alarms going off all the time. Noise very disturbing. The apartments must not be well insulated between them. Can't sleep. Noises from the AC unit very loud and they claim it can't be fixed. Stolen mail. Cars broken into. Can't wait till my lease is up. Planned on being here a few yrs or more but when you try to have things made better it gets worse. People knocking on my door late at night was the last straw and now it is scarry to live here.
The Ridge at Robinson is a great community to live in with kids and dogs. I really enjoy having the pool and kids room area. Staff is great and maintenance is quick to solve issues
I love the layout and floor plan for the apartments. I love the location with stores and restaurants being across the street as well as having tons of green space in the community.
I like living at Ridge at Robinson. I would recommend living here to my friends. The closeness to Settlers Ridge shopping center is a huge selling point. The maintenance team has done an excellent job of handling any problems that I have reported. If I had to complain about anything, it would be an inadequate number of parking spaces near my building. At night or m weekends. There have been nights when I had to walk the equivalent of 2 blocks to get to my apartment.

Never lived in an apartment before, but this place is really nice. I’m so happy. I moved here from my three bedroom. Very large house. Everyone here has been very helpful. This only one thing I saw would suggest that you have a bench inside the front doors where you have to wait for a ride or a bus or an Uber somewhere nice to sit would be great.
I love everything about living here, the office staff is amazing and everyone is so nice that lives here! Super dog friendly and the only upgrade I would make is a hot tub lol
Great community especially if you have dogs and children. Amenities and dog waste stations need upgraded however. Management is great and willing to work with residents for affordable living. Been living here going on 6 years and only plan to move when we purchase a home

The layout and location are awesome at The Ridge at Robinson. There are a lot of dogs as well as friendly neighbors. Upper management does well at addressing any issues or concerns and is timely in responding to communication.
Mostly good. No major concerns. Maintenance is always on time. I just think its over priced and utilities are very expensive. I would say the community itself is great though.
I have lived at Ridge at Robinson four years. I can state that it has been a complete pleasure living here! My apartment is laid out in a workable, streamlined manner. The materials used in the construction are smart, solid and low maintenance. The outside grounds are kept in a flawless manner…they are great to look out on. The residents here are friendly and quiet. The office staff are efficient and professional. I’m pleased to have made this home.

Love the location and apartment layout. Maintenance staff is great but lots of turn over. Upper management is great now. Complex doesn’t feel as safe as a year ago.

I love my unit, neighborhood and amenities! As far as space, definitely worth the price compared to high rise buildings in busier areas. They could improve on dealing with maintenance requests at a faster rate.
The apartment was not cleaned whatsoever when we moved in. Dead bugs, spills, food, paint splatters all over the floor. Told them about it and said they would get someone to clean it, came back a few days later & nothing was done. Hired a cleaning crew so I could focus on moving.
I have lived here a little over a year now. It is very nice and calming and has a great social atmosphere. Everyone is very welcoming, and the staff is very friendly!
Living at Ridge at Robinson has been nothing shy of the BEST. The leasing staff, the maintenance crew, the residents and all of the pups of the community make living here so enjoyable!

Maintenance top notch. All team members in office or otherwise helpful and polite. One team member Zac helped me lift a heavy item onto a dolly when he didn't half to. Way above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. I doubt that anyplace else would extend a hand like that. They are there for you. Living at "The Ridge" has been an amazing experience so far! Everyone is so friendly, even my dogs have been welcomed. The apartment is quiet, spacious, modern and clean. I could not ask for a better location, everything is just a few minutes away!

I love there is a lot green space, so many apartment buildings are very square and cold feeling. The pool and weight room are great. The ridge is also very dog friendly.
I enjoy the community for all the amenities available. We still have yet to utilize all of them & the residents I have come in contact with are very nice and considerate. We enjoy the spaciousness of our unit & easy access from the parking lot. Also, being able to have storage on-site is a plus that few communities like Ridge are offering so we made a good choice coming to Ridge!

Moving in to the facility was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful along the way! The facilities and amenities are great for the community! I’d recommend the ridge to anyone looking to move.

I rented here 4 years ago, and I missed living here so much I came back!! For the price, you will not find better amenities and quality. It's apartment style living, but it feels so much like a resort, it's like you're on vacation every day!

Nice location. Decent apartments. Nice pool. It is the noisiest place I've ever lived in terms of sound. When my neighbors watch tv - I definitely hear it.

We have great experience staying in this community. Calm, peaceful environment with friendly neighborhood. Excellent aminities, business center, club house and pool. You can rent the clubhouse for a private party. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is by far the best community we have stayed in.
