Fort Lee is a suburban borough located where the New Jersey Turnpike meets the George Washington Bridge, right across the river from Washington Heights. The combination of excellent public schools, very low crime, and easy access to Manhattan make Fort Lee a highly popular location for commuters raising families.
The center of town is filled by a large shopping and dining district anchored by the Oaktree Mall, which draws large crowds from the surrounding communities. Fort Lee Historic Park and the Hudson Palisades cover much of the borough’s waterfront area, providing scenic views and tranquil natural environments for your leisure time. Rental rates can be rather steep, but there are numerous apartments, condos, and houses in the borough that are quite affordable.

Property Ratings at Ridge Pointe
This place is rundown, dirty, broken pavement, hallways filthy, elevator broken 3 years, messy lobby , dirty lobby carpets, dirty garage, broken cameras, poor heating in apts, no luxury - mediocre at best
Lived here for three plus years. Management is almost non-existent. They always make a mistake drafting/negotiating leases, and responds to emails up until you sign the lease and move in. Afterwards, it is like talking to a wall. The property manager was always sitting in her office yet never available if you wanted to speak with her. Management overcharges for every crevice of the property, whether that be parking, storage, or renting out the lounge for events. Yet they are cheap and refuse to buy simple things such as carts for their tenants to use. Instead, they steal shopping carts from the HMart and CVS nearby. The two bellman carts they do own are either broken or do not fit through your apartment door so are useless. Maintenance takes forever and also does not work on weekends. If there is an emergency and something is in need of dire repair, you better gear up to wait at least a month. Elevator was often out of service and there were numerous times the elevator to the penthouse got stuck. ZERO building security. A masked burglar could walk in and no one would say anything. You get a key fob, but you never have to take it out because all of the doors are always open. As mentioned, management is stingy, so they refuse to put in key fob/locks to the stairwells and the one side door that never fully closes. Don't get me started on the stabbing incident that management tried to hide from their own tenants...
After several months and multiple emails, broken items remain unfixed throughout apartment and building. Management ignores sensitive requests, and disrespectful tenants are left to run wild and disrupt the integrity of the amenities and rooftop lounge. With all this, management has yet to implement a policy or system to hold other accountable or properly manage the enviornment. This location desperately needs a REAL management company and people that understand and value prime real estate, as the current situation resembles low-income housing. Such a waste and disappointment.
If you ever need to contact management, they will never answer the phone or return messages. If you go to the office the secretary will tell you Vicki (the only management person) is in a meeting but she’s really just in her office hiding from people. Takes months for anything to get fixed. I haven’t had a working microwave in 3 months and it took a month for clogged sink to get fixed. The only maintenance guy lies to you that the part hasn’t come in when concierge says he got it a while ago. If management actually felt like they existed and cared about the tenants, then this place has potential but it’s not worth the amount of rent you spend.
