Property Ratings at Ridgecrest Apartments
Poor management, terrible parking, staff simply doesn't care. if you don't like something and you bring it up, the answer is, if you don't like it, move out!!!!!
My experience with Ridgecrest has been an absolute DREAM since the beginning. Emma and the leasing team took great care of me and made the application and move-in process extremely easy and safe. All details were explained to me, my unit was clean upon move-in, my parking was closely and identified to me, and I was given a tour of the entire property. I really couldn't ask for more. In terms of the day-to-day living, I LOVE IT! I look forward to going home each day and enjoying my beautiful apartment and the serene grounds that Ridgecrest has to offer. My neighbors are quiet but friendly and I don't ever worry about any of my things going missing or car getting broken into; not exactly the case at some other properties that I've lived at. Ultimately, I'd say that I've found a home at Ridgecrest, and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone in the market for a beautiful and peaceful living experience.
The place is nice, quite and good people are cordial .Office staff and maintenance are prompt. Night parking for night visitors is an issue here.
I am extremely happy here and very proud to have my kids living here. The complex is kept up and well maintained at all times.
Me parece todo exelente En servicio de oficina y mantenimiento y demas
Everyone was very helpful at Ridgecrest. We had to move during COVID and the transition was very easy. Emma was very helpful and always answered my question. I like that we have a park near by and it just very peaceful community.
I have been at Ridgecrest for 7 years and love it here, love my neighbors, love my corner of where I live. Plan to stay longer. Office staff has always been courteous and professional.
I have been a long time resident of Ridgecrest, and have been very happy with the management & staff. They are friendly, follow-up, and provide great communication and great events for their tenants. I like how you can see the improvements to the complex they are trying to make.
This is me and my wife's first apartment experience we were scared of all the apartment horror stories that we would read from different apartments. But this has been an amazing experience they have been friendly and kind since day 1. Have helped with our every needs even during the pandemic they have been on top of it.
Ridgecrest is great place to live!

Tenants are friendly and helpful
Good and quiet neighborhood
Ridgecrest is a good, clean, an quiet community to live in..
Ridgecrest is a quiet, safe, gated community that is well maintained which provides a home you can be proud of.
Staff is good ! Neighbor is the pits !
I like the space in the apartment and patio and very close to school and park
Ridgecrest provides great value for the money, with a great location, nice amenities, a peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained and nicely appointed apartments, beautiful landscaping and a helpful, friendly staff. We love it here.
The staff is awesome and they make the move in process easy
Ridgecrest Apartment Homes is in a great location. Has all the amenities. It is a clean and quiet environment.
This place has really become a slum. I lived here 8 years ago and decided to move back recently. The landscaping is nice but requires a lot of work and maintenance. This means you must have decent management. It's shocking in how little time bad management can screw things up. They pay one guy money to landscape a huge complex that should require at least 5 guys. The Result is a half done job. Your pathway will often be blocked with sharp branches waiting to trip you in the poorly lit complex. Look carefully and you will see he run down things are. A week after moving in about half the apartment electrical outlets went out. The heater never worked and now it's summer so I don't even need it fixed. Both toilets have broken seals at the bottom and smell. The roof leaks water in the master closet the vent in the bathroom leaks water when you turn in on. You don't even have to get inside the apartments to see how bad the management is. Look at the heavy concrete tiles falling off the roof the will for sure injury someone seriously. Laura is a terrible manager she will act nice until you sign the lease then she is rude and beyond unprofessional. She pounded on my girlfriends apartment because she had some baby toys on the Balcony. She pounded about as hard as she could I was shocked. Then she proceeded to scream at me. I've been a store manager for a giant corporation and she needs serious training. Knocking on the door and explaining that they are showing the apartment next door and for the next few weeks please help them keep it looking tidy would of been acting like a manger. We would of for sure understood. This is how a civilized rational person handles things. Look at the roof shingles and the danger, look at the base of the toilets, the careless maintenance. Please be careful and look around so you can rent elsewhere. THE POSTIVE REVIEWS ON HERE MUST BE FAKE AND EMPLOYEES POSTING THEM.
The management running this place is terrible. After our move out from the apartments we were charged for more than our security deposit for damages what were not done. If you still decide to rent an apartment here, make photos of everything there before moving in: countertop, cabinets, vanities, bath tubs, toilets, doors, walls, floor, windows and so on. Do not trust any single word what the management say, especially Christian Webb. Make photos and mention in the check-in documents any little existing scratch what you can see or you will be charged for resurfacing or replacing the thing. Just mentioning in the documents that something is very old (countertop, bath etc.) does not mean for the management that it does not look perfect and has any scratches. So, if you do not document any small existing wear of anything in the apartment before moving in, you will be charged for replacing it when you move out. Add to this that condition of the apartments is actually very bad. Everything is very bad quality. Countertop, for example, is surfaced with a very weak plastic, not resistant to burn and scratch. There are three gates in the community, but one of the gates is always broken. They ask for monthly pet rent, but if the pet owners do not pick up after their pets, the management also do not do this. So, the common areas are always dirty. "24-Hour Emergency Maintenance" is mentioned on the web site of the apartment complex, but in reality you can just register a problem online, but they will react on a problem only on next day and can ask you to wait a couple of weeks to fix a dishwasher, for example. They provide some appliances, but the appliances are not Stainless Steel, as mentioned in the ad. The fitness center is very small and the treadmills are broken. They give you one covered dedicated parking space and one parking pass to park on the guest parking overnight, but there are never available parking space in the evening. When you move in, the management promises to treat all outside areas against spiders every week. They do not do this and spiders are everywhere.
We've been living here for 3 months now and absolutely love it here. We have a 2bd/2bth and it's very spacious. There's so much room for activities! The walk-in closets are huge. The one is big enough it can almost be a room. Both bedrooms and living room have access to our big balcony. It's so big you can still have room for activities with a bbq on it. We love that we have our own washer/dryer in a huge closet outside on our balcony. It's so big you can store stuff in there if need be. There's also a huge outside closet our front door for storing stuff. We barely hear or see our neighbors so it makes for relaxing times to sit on our balcony and listen to the birds sing. There's 1 pool and 2 spas. The one spa that's by itself is secluded and has it's own picnic bench. It's very nice for relaxing nights looking up at the stars. There's also a gym and tennis courts. And if you want to change up your workout and do nature walks, there's walking trails behind the complex. We also haven't had a problem with parking yet. We've even come home really late a couple times and still managed to get an uncovered spot. We love it here and would highly recommend it.
I've lived at Ridgecrest for 8 years & really couldn't be happier. We have a 2 bed/2 bath apartment, & love it. Every apartment has it's own laundry room, dishwasher, garbage disposal, fireplace, walk-in closets, & my favorite part - central heating & air conditioning. Not to mention that every apartment is a corner apartment, so it's not as cramped feeling. Both bedrooms are good sized & have their own bathrooms. Also, both bedrooms & living room have access to the patio, so you can open things up & get a nice breeze going. Maintenance is the absolute best. They are always quick, courteous, & know what they are doing. I've really only ever had to put in a work order when I somehow messed something up & needed for it to be repaired, never because it just wasn't working right. I love it at Ridgecrest & don't foresee that changing anytime soon. I would definitely recommend Ridgecrest to a friend.
For apartment living, Ridgecrest offers substantial comfort, convenience, and class. My apartment is close to spotless. The new carpet; fresh neutral colored paint; stylish white baseboards; newly refinished tub, shower, and countertops make it feel like living in a new home. The well designed layout needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. The safe neighborhood and security gate puts me at ease. Taking a 5 mile walk 5 days a week through the nearby forest and trails keeps me healthy and happy. Compared to nearby apartments, the quality of Ridgecrest can't be beat. Not only is it an excellent home for me, they allow my pets too. I am happy to call Ridgecrest my home sweet home.
I have lived here for almost 3 years now and am sad to move. I am really comfortable here but I got a job in LA and the commute would be too much for me. The location of Ridgecrest is great. It is a really clean and quiet place. I will certainly miss it. The staff is very good with maintenance always getting done same day and helpful girls in the office. There is a jogging trail right behind the community that I really enjoy. There are lots of good places to eat and the Irvine Spectrum is close. A little on the pricy side for my one bedroom but it was well worth it.
