Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.

NEEDS All is good. Except, we need a brighter light by the mailboxes so this old people can see into our mailbox is better. I would be glad to donate a brighter bulb. Also, when the elevator reaches the basement, it would be nice to have a button to push that automatically opens the garage door going from the elevator room into the garage and also from the garage into the elevator room because when you have many many packages and bulky items, it is difficult to navigate that area without someone holding the door. Please address this problem. Thank you.

Dish washer It was fix and Brad was very helpful. How ever 4 hour later I opened the washer to add dishes and the was a loud snap and the door fell. I think the spring that keeps the door from banging down broke. will call Monday

I love my home! Great place! I've lived here for almost 12 years. The complex is well managed and immaculate. This fall all of our outside landscaping was redone, and it's beautiful. Any issues or requests are handled in a timely manner. It's a peaceful place to live.

Is it the Place or the People?
My husband John and I live in a senior apartment complex called Ridgeview Highlands Senior Apartments & Town Homes, in a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a 25 foot balcony! Having our own spaces helps keep us happily married; but it's the people here that make us want to stay for life! The management is caring and involved in providing social activities that promote friendship among the residents. Maintenance is friendly and only a phone call away, and more often than not comes the same day to resolve any maintenance issues. The housekeeping staff keeps the common areas "white glove" perfect! Ridgeview's residents, despite the large population, form a close-knit community that watches out for each others' needs, whether it be a helping hand with groceries or checking on those who aren't able to get around so easily any more. John recently became disabled and it's touching to see how eager our neighbors are to help him whenever they see the need. A neighbor even removed a shard of glass from John's foot when I was away from home for a day! Ridgeview Highlands is like a little preview of heaven on earth!
