The Antelope Valley region sits in the northernmost stretches of Los Angeles County. Antelope Valley also constitutes the western portion of the Mojave Desert, located between the Tehachapi, Sierra Pelona, and San Gabriel Mountains, which all lend stunning mountain vistas to the rentals in the region.
Antelope Valley’s largest cities include Lancaster and Palmdale, in addition to a slew of smaller cities and towns that each boast their own unique identity and sense of character. The region’s more affordable cost of living draws plenty of Los Angeles area commuters who don’t mind a longer commute time.
The rental options are just as diverse as the region itself, with an array of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent throughout Antelope Valley. Popular spots for outdoor recreation include Angeles National Forest and Castaic Lake State Recreation Area, as well as Greater Los Angeles’ renowned beaches, which are about a two-hour drive away.

Property Ratings at Ridgeview Village Apartments
I am moving and the other posts about staff following you around are true. Don't move here if you want to feel safe. There are many other options. The front security gate do not lock they tell you they will fix then but in one year they still have not.
Employees year people with disabilities like they are the plague. If you need ADA accommodations they will ignore you unless you file a formal complaint. The management company does not understand what is like living with a disability. Stay away of you wanted to be treated with courtesy and kindness
The turnover rate for office managers are very high. The maintenance workers hardly ever listen to the office ladies and are very lazy to the point where everything fixed is half done. The emergency line never works. Plumbing and water is always an issue. The only person who knows what she’s doing is Kayla and unfortunately they have no made her head of these apartments yet. Without her, this place would be a disaster.
I have lived at Ridgeview Village for over a year and have no complaints. I would like to say that whoever brought Kayla back made the right decision. She is very professional and always smiling. All of the girls in the office are actually. I havent had any issues with water since Ive lived here, and the one time they had to turn off the water they told me in advance. The community is quiet and I feel at home here. Would definitely recommend.
I've been living here a few months and here's the pros and cons of this apartment: Pros: -Clean -Plenty of parking available -Unit has plenty of storage space -Laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers and uses the card system instead of the coin system -Office management is friendly -Generally a quiet area -Able to park my motorcycle by my car Cons: -DO NOT RELY ON THE LEASING OFFICE TO TELL YOU THE REFRIGERATOR SPACE SIZE! They claim that up to a 36 cu ft fridge can fit but my 26 cu ft fridge could not even fit into the space. The max dimensions that a refrigerator could fit in my unit were: 36in width X 30in depth X 72in height -Maintenance is slow -They claim to have after hours emergency maintenance but the one time I needed them after hours, no one answered the phone after multiple attempts -There were multiple small issues when I first moved in (i.e. one faucet filter needed replacement, the screws mounting the towel rack were loose, new dishwasher was not installed securely, shower water temperature kept fluctuating between very hot and very cold), but I was able to fix most of the issues myself. I recommend that if you are able to fix some of the issues yourself, do it -My building has a lot of children and tend to be running around playing and screaming. They are usually out between about 3pm-dusk on weekdays and most of the day on weekends but have not had any issues with them at night yet. -My packages have been stolen or tampered with from my front door multiple times so I have the packages left at the front office from now on (not a management issue but worth noting) -Claim that there are only service dogs that are allowed to stay in the unit but clearly most of the dogs are pets. -Sheriff's Deputies seem to be called on property for some sort of disturbance on a regular basis -The fitness center consists of only treadmills Despite the issues, this is still a great place to live and I would recommend it.
After some research on where my next living space was going to be, I decided that Ridgeview was the best decision, depsite the bad reviews. The exterior is very nice and the landscape is kept up well. And the gated access is very important to me. The dual master unit has the perfect space for my family. The office staff is very welcoming and efficient, the handling of my lease signing was on point. I have had no water issues as stated in many reviews. I recommend Ridgeview!
We were here for one year, & for the first 6 months we were having guys come in to repair a ton of little things, plumbing in bathrooms, loose tiles in kitchen & bathrooms, sealing windows so we aren't freezing in winter & loosing cool air in summer, tightening screws on cabinets, etc. While they eventually got done, they were done one at a time & never on schedule. The guys are great & ladies in the office are polite, but the communication between the two suck! "Well we told them to do it today..." "They didn't tell us nothing." Etc. etc. Don't trust the pictures seen here, the flowers aren't there anymore & the grass isn't as green, I know that's the drought not management, but these look photoshopped compared to the actual complex. The pool is disgusting, I planned to go this past summer, had my swim suit on & towel and everything, I didn't even put my feet in let alone fully submerge myself. I went back to my apartment & read a book on the patio. You can tell it needs a good draining, scrub down & cleaning, but they won't waste time or money on that. Speaking of patios, the gardeners are an off site company that come every Tuesday, while they trim grass & hedges like the should, they never pick up grass trimmings or cut leaves. Also when it's fall/winter & the leaves fall & need to be blown, they aren't blown, raked & thrown away, or even made to compost, they are blown ONTO THE PATIOS of tenents. It's extremely rude, annoying, &they even do it when you're sitting there & can clearly see them. I know the gardeners are not a part of maintenance or management but if it's hired help, couldn't they hire someone better? The kitchens are tight for more than one person, there's not a lot of storage, so if you have kids or personally a lot of stuff be prepared to comprimise your things or your clothes, because you'll probably have to get rid of something, because the closets are the only storage. The laundry room recently got new machines & flooring, but the idiots that installed (I.e. maintenance) took out the tables/shelves you would use to fold clothes or sort loads prior, now you have to use the opening of the dryers or the top of the washers to fold things; I suggest bringing hangers & hanging stuff there instead of a basket to avoid countless wrinkles you'll get otherwise. The apartment itself is decent & quaint. They really should redo top flooring & sound proof bottom ceilings to not hear at all hours but other than that, it's okay.
Really like this apartments and the ladies in the office are really helpful and nice, I would really recommend them to anyone. The apartments are spacious and beautiful!
