The vibrant traditions and culture of the south come alive in Memphis, a robust and historic Mississippi riverfront community of over 600,000 neighbors. Memphis is legendary as an incubator for American musical titans, with landmarks like Sun Studios, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, and Graceland serving as some of the city’s most popular attractions for visitors. The city’s musical tradition continues today, with a packed roster of live music representing every conceivable genre. Just as famous as the music is the food, with Memphis-style barbecue widely available and internationally recognized as a true American delicacy.
But beyond the neon of Beale Street, Memphis offers a delightful living experience steeped in southern charm and modern flair. The cost of living is quite affordable, with apartments, condos, and houses to fit any budget. The rental market is incredibly diverse, from urban efficiency apartments to stunning historic homes on sleepy suburban streets.

Property Ratings at Ridgeway Commons Townhomes
I've lived here since 9/2014, the property has been sold 3 times and each management team the property sinks deeper into the gutter, this current owner ATM Properties has raised the rent 25% with a promise of upgrades ... well there have been NO improvements what so ever, I re-signed my lease in September 2019, ... Oh and get this, they charge tenants $13.50 per month for liability insurance, they're basically passing on the cost of their property insurance to the tenants we of course do not benefit from this, seems that should be illegal or at least unethical. There is no onsite security, no working security lights, no security gate, this complex is less than a mile from Hickory Hill, the grounds are not cleaned, no pest service, fences falling down., office staff is NOT nice, full of attitude, treat you like they're doing you a favor, maintenance is a joke. Here it is 5 months since that storm of October 2019, people had to move out and the units still have blue tarp on them, tenants are moving out in droves. This is an Awful Awful Awful place to live. Yes, I live here but am here for a reason, a really good reason, cannot go into details. But I'm talking to an attorney, to see what my options are here.
Ridgeway Commons is a mess inside and out.The buildings are falling apart leaking roofs gutters hanging off and tarps still on after a storm 3 months ago. There is no assigned parking, no picnic area, and dog poo everywhere on the grounds. I visit my relatives living there and see the water stains on the walls and ceilings and old stoves and broken countertops. There is no security driving around and garbage thrown all over he place outside. Not much air flow from the vents since nobody ever comes to change the filters. People yelling and loud music in the middle of the night so you can't sleep. The rent has gone sky high but things are only getting worse. Nobody cares.
