Dirty laundry facility and fitness center. Half of the things in the laundry facility don't work, or don't clean/dry enough. Lots of missing items in the fitness center. The pool hardly gets cleaned, and is surrounded by greenery that falls into the pool. There are no lights in the rooms of the apartment, which is ridiculous. You can opt for a lamp, but there is such little space that a light on the ceiling would've been much appreciated. The kitchen cabinets are really small and tight. Ours are beginning to bend at the middle because of how poorly constructed the cabinets are. The parking lots are tight, with barely enough room for the tenants. Two cars driving past each other feels dangerous. Rounding the corner too fast could result in a crash, because of how tight it is. Despite this, people continue to drive recklessly. I have seen cops here at least 8 times in the year I've lived here. And that's just what I've seen. They boast a night service, but I've never seen them myself. Car alarms are constantly going off, which is annoying. Planes are constantly flying above you, which is annoying as well. My car has been broken into twice. I constantly see the exterminators here, so this place has a bug problem. My place on its own has had at least four bug treatments, plus 3 inspections. And after those treatments, I've never received a call letting me know I can go back home, which is really annoying in terms of communication.

So pleased with our decission to rent from Rio Seco. We were greated immediately from Lisa, she was so friendly & patient with us with all our questions. Lisa & her manager Fernando went above & beyond to help my family and I. Actions speak louder than words and the staff at Rio Seco definitely have action. Anyone who walked in thw office was greated immediately with a smile and when they were out of the office they said hi to whoever they saw. Property is very clean & well taken care of. So happy all the way around. Thank you Fernando & Lisa
Ever hear the catch phrase.."You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave? The apartment I live in right now may appear inviting from the outside, but becomes a money pit once you get locked into a lease! Everything from faulty wiring, cracks in the foundation and windows, terrible laundry facilities, Poor to NO security, auto and home break-ins, unruly neighbors, loud parties, nightly police activity due to fights and drug activity, lackluster repair servicemen, an absent minded office staff who are the ringmasters to this circus and a horrid pest control problem to boot!? I often visit this website to look for a light at the end of the tunnel!. Please use Apartments.com before you sign any lease! Your sanity will Thank You!
Nice complex. But the pool is hardly opened when we want to go swimming. Would reccomend to friends to live in.
So, I've been living here for a little over a year and i love it. My living room window and bedroom window brings in lots of light. The laundry facilities are open 24/7 which is very convenient for people who work night shift. The swimming pool and hot tub are open until 11:00 which i think is wonderful. There's a playground for the little ones if you have kids. I don't, Rio seco is pet friendly which i also like! My favorite part about these apartments is that they're 2 minutes from the spectrum shopping center. If you're thinking about moving here stop thinking and just do it. You'll love it. :)
