Located in northern Central Texas, Fort Worth is often coupled with neighboring Dallas. But Fort Worth has a unique character all of its own. Equal parts Wild West and modern sophistication, Fort Worth is known as the City of Cowboys and Culture. In Fort Worth, you can just as easily visit a championship rodeo as you can a world-class museum.
There is no shortage of world-class museums in Fort Worth. You have your choice of exploring the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and many more. Head over to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District to step into the Old West and learn the history of the livestock industry in Texas. Every Friday and Saturday, you can witness the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum.

Property Ratings at Rio Vista
I’ve lived at Rio Vista for several years now, and although it is by no means a perfect place, it is THE best place I’ve lived. My kids school is right next door, they love the playground and pool and I love I can feel safe. Office ppl are nice and are quick to send maintenance if there is anything needed. Highly recommend!
I saw roaches the minute I moved in. The baseboards in the kitchen bathroom and hallway is nasty. Yes I did get the pest control but they are still coming back. I mopped my floor and swept. When I come home they still pop up in my dining room, kitchen, bedroom, hallway and bathroom. I am regretting signing a year lease because I have to deal with it or get my own pesticide. Also every now and then I hear loud cracks through all the walls! It wakes me up out my sleep! I am not renewing my lease and anyone don't come here!
When I first moved in everything was new and renovated. I kept things clean and would find cockroaches EVERYWHERE (kitchen , crawling on walls , my bedroom , my bathroom , in the lights) the worst night I had was when I came home and turned on the lights after work and baby cockroaches crawling all over my kitchen floor (they were attracted to my dogs food) . I starting killing them like crazy I was not going to bed till I had cleaned them . I pulled back my fridge to see where they were coming from I started spraying like crazy they were coming out from under my new fridge ! And after that night I set up bait traps . Did not help I would still see them ! Long story short they got a whole INFESTATION . I also didn’t like this apartment because the kids in the neighborhood are trashy and disrespectful, they would leave trash outside every night they would egg peoples doors (aka mine got egged once) there was never any parents around they would be screaming cussing (kids will be kids but parents should be parents too) I had a neighbor with kids while they were always sweet they would invade my personal space when I was outside and destroy my plants. Months before I left I got a new down stairs neighbors that would play loud music any night during the week from 9pm - 4 am . Their would be new broken beer bottles and trash outside everyday . I’ll give credit to the people who picked up the trash every morning (of course it was maintenance tho)
My apartment has been moldy for over a year and now they're evicting me saying that I never reported it but I did and then they sold the property.
If I could leave a negative 5 rating I would!! The first week we moved in, it poured down rain and the roof in the master bedroom started leaking. Took three months for them to fix so everytime it rained, the roof would leak. The carpet was disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been changed since the 90s. Drug dealers across the hall. The person next to us had bed bugs. Neighbors were inconsiderate. Always had music blasting long past midnight & didn't seem to care since it was the managers family. Cars were broken into all the time. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Its not worth the money you pay.
Don't let these pictures fool you, this place is Roach infested, outdated, and management is awful.I was tricked and shown a clean apartment and then they switched it on me right before I moved in. I did the paperwork and was given my keys. I went down to the apartment and it was filthy! There were tons on roaches and Roach eggs laying all over the place. I was mortified! I went up to the office immediately, crying, telling them there was bugs everywhere. The lady advised me that cockroaches were normal in apartments! WHAT???!!! I've lived in many apartments since then and I can assure you, that they were Roach free. They were bug free because the properties were well maintained and properly taken care of and I can assure you that RIO VISTA is NOT!. It was so awful there that I had my lease terminated and left early. I wanted to warn anybody considering this God awful place. The neighborhood and people were fine but the apartments themselves are just filthy and bug infested.
Worst place I've ever lived at. The staff has no manners and are no help at all. The pool in the summer is disgusting. It's not even cleaned appropriately which causes mold to build up on the surface. This places is infested with roaches and bed bugs. The ceiling had fallen thru and it took them around 3 months to fix it completely. The manager is rude and has no way of talking to the tenants.
i have been here for two months and the staff here don't don anything about anything I have been waiting for them to come fix the fridge and it has been a months since I been waiting. It doesn't matter how many times I go to the office they just keep telling me the same thing. Don't waste your time in this apartments they might look good and you'll see pools and patios but what good does it when they don't do their job. I'm moving out of here because this is the worst place I've ever been.
DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! STAFF IS HORRIBLE. DRUG DEALERS! BED BUGS! ROACHES! FIGHTS!
Apartments are old. AC is most likely way too old, temperature would take a day to go down. They have bed bugs and blame it on you!!!! Dont even waste your time going there!
I like how peaceful it is and how safe it is as well! It's between 820 and 121 Plus the mall is just a few min away
This is a great place for families. There are 2 swimming pools, 2 common areas for picnics, beautiful trees, and easy access to shopping areas and the metro. Maintenance is provided around the clock for emergencies and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Plenty of space for city living.
