Outer Red Bank is situated on the west side of Highway 27 just north of Mountain Creek just outside the heart of Red Bank, one of Chattanooga’s most popular neighborhoods. You’ll find amazing homes bursting with character and apartment communities with plenty of amenities and views of the mountains just six miles outside Downtown Chattanooga. This section of Red Bank remains more affordable than that which is closer to the city, but residents of Outer Red Bank are still close to all the conveniences and amenities. There’s an amazing array of restaurants along Dayton Boulevard, including bakeries, Italian eateries, barbecue spots, and coffee shops. Downtown Chattanooga is barely a 20-minute drive south, making Outer Red Bank great for families or anyone looking for an attractive rental just outside the city.

Property Ratings at Rise at Signal Mountain
The move in process was great. There was a few hiccups like the unit not being properly inspected but the staff here was very helpful in getting everything resolved. Maintenace was extremely quick and efficiencent!
I really love loving here. Unit is nice and management has been pretty quick about maintenence requests. Neighbors are great as well, all in all can't complain very much.
By far the quietest complex I've ever lived at. Very friendly staff! I would highly recommend anyone to this place. Very convenient location.
Très enthousiaste j'aime bien les voisins la nature l'équipe je suis très content et surtout le service j'invites touts le monde de venir habiter
Rise is a great place to live! The landscaping is well-maintained and the neighbors are nice. It is a quiet neighborhood and pet-friendly. The office staff are great!
Staff and maintenance are quick to respond. Pest control works well. Community areas are well maintained and include a pool, fire pits, hammocks, grills, and a gym.
First month of living at the apartment has been great! Service has been very quick, and the front office is very sweet and helpful. I would recommend this complex for anyone living in a apt for the first time. It's a great beginners apt.
So far it’s been amazing!! I have friendly outgoing neighbors and the view can’t be beat!! It’s so gorgeous here!! I’m so happy to be apart of the community
I have loved living here. We all keep to ourselves and have wonderful amenities to choose from without costing an arm and a leg. It’s a great place for not only college students but anyone looking for a convenient place to live.
It's amazing here ?? and I really enjoy the view also how quiet it is in the neighborhood which is very surprising to me and I love it here.????
I love the area, love the place, and it's a very comfy community! The community has a lot of nice amenities and also, love how every once in a while the community will do some type of special event to do something nice for us. The inside of the apartment is also really clean and cozy.
This neighborhood has been so quiet and a great place to live! We love our neighbors and the fact that we all got so close. I also love the location of the apartment near the mountain!
I have loved living at Rise so far! Everyone is so nice and helpful. All maintenance requests have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. :)
Fantastic place to live. Love the vibes, amenities, and people. The apartments are very affordable, great staff, service requests are done on time! Wish the gym had more equipment but that’s about it
My experience move into rise was very easy and seamless. I need an apartment ASAP and they showed me everything that was available. Everything was done online, which made it even easier
I love the convience living here being so close to downtown and everything rise and the community is nice and quiet and have had no problems.
I have loved my time at the Rise! It’s a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking which is a huge plus! I also love how pet friendly it is, makes mine and my dogs life 10x easier!
The spiders are never ending. There’s things in my apartment I was told by maintenance they will not fix due to budget, like cracked ceilings being the main one. This was just a convenient spot close to work.
Great apartment and it’s kept up with very well! All of the amenities are great and the staff is wonderful and very helpful with anything that you have questions about!!
The welcome and help for first moving in was definitely amazing! Sandra was so welcoming and made sure we felt truly at home. She made sure we loved the apartment and checked to make sure everything looked good. The apartment overall is what me and my boyfriend were looking for and love it so much. I can’t wait to make it feel more like home and be apart of The Rise.
The entire staff at Rise has been incredible from day one. They’re very responsive to all your questions and concerns and genuinely care about their renters and the community as whole. So happy I chose this community!
This is a great community! All the staff from office to maintenance are super helpful and nice. The response is quick. I love the design of the apts with the patio and extra storage closet out there. My only negative is the little brown bugs that seem to come with apt living. But those are easily dealt with by setting up extra traps. This community really seems to care about its residents and offer many community events.
Great place to live. Nice and quiet area, nice neighbors. Maintenance requests are usually responded to quickly. Overall I truly like living here.
I love living here at Rise at Signal Mtn. Lived here for 4 years previously. It is a safe apartment complex and quiet at night. They have a pool, a carport to vacuum your car with the other side having a deep sink to wash your dog or cat. Behind the sink is a play place fenced in area where your dogs can fetch and run around. In front of the dog play place is a 3 ft round fire pit with many chairs surrounding it. There are two grills nearby and 3 hammocks. The hammocks are so relaxing and so are the apartments.
Overall my roommate and I enjoy living here. We just deal with constant smoke smells throughout our apartment from our neighbors and the parking.
Been here for over a year now and literally no complaints besides I wish we had assigned parking spaces but I feel like that’s any complex. Moving into the bigger 2 bedroom here and the process was a breeze! Definitely plan to be here until I find my forever home.
Very nice complex and the office ladies was extremely nice and very helpful. Quietest apartment complex I've ever been to! Will highly recommend this to my friends.
This Resident it's been very nice living home and safe quite well as the residents are so friendly the staffs are so very helpful to me don't even have any problems at all Thanks...
cozy and safe environment. have lived here going on 3 years now and have never had a single issue with the office or the maintenance. everyone keeps to themselves.
Plenty of friendly neighbors and the leasing staff are very helpful! The apartment is surprisingly quiet and can rarely hear any of our neighbors. The shower is a bit dated and the finish work (caulking, trim panels etc.) isn't fabulous but overall I would recommend living here.
Great place to live. The landscape is will maintained. Neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. The office staff is helpful. Definitely recommend.
Office management are very nice! Maintenance guys are very polite! Amenities are great and have been kept maintained more often! Love the community pics! Residents are all amazing and respectful! Very pet friendly! Only complaint would be how the dumpster area gets so dirty.
There are definitely some aspects that are a bit janky but overall with the price I pay, I am happy with what I have. I would definitely recommend
Staying at Rise has been an overall good experience. The location of the apartments is great, maintenance work is done quickly when requests are put in, and the staff works to create a welcoming environment. The apartments themselves are great and cozy. My only issues with Rise surround the amenities. I have found that many of the amenities are not kept up with well. I went to the apartment's gym-- the trash needed to be taken out, there weren't any sanitary wipes for the equipment, and there were several spiderwebs in the corners. I tried to use the pet washing station--there were bugs staying in the bath and it wasn't clean. The vacuum doesn't work at the car washing station. The pet clean-up areas are consistently overflowing. Rise would easily be five stars if their amenities were kept up with regularly.
I want to give it 3.5 stars, but there’s not a button for that, so I’ll give it 3. This is a decent place to live. I had a good number of issues at move-in- the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned, some of the cabinets were broken, my moving date was delayed a day due to the carpet not being replaced yet, and my keys were left outside by a contractor. The trash bins are disgusting (only about half the people actually put their trash IN the dumpster, others leave it outside), the fitness center is not well kept, maintenance/the leasing team can be slow to respond and not very aggressive, and my apartment often smells like weed (I do not smoke weed. Someone else in the building does, however, and I am reminded every night.) Overall, though, it’s a good place to live once you get past the disappointing things. The pool is nice, the package system is great, and the landscaping is wonderful. Not too bad for the price, although I wish some things could just be taken care of.
It was very great. We had great service when we moved in and I could tell from the start that I am going to have an amazing time living at rise at signal mt!
I love my new apartment! It's spacious, well-maintained, and has a great view. The community is friendly, and the location is convenient for everything I need.
Great area! So peaceful and safe and I love all the amazing amenities. My dog especially loves the dog park and all the friendly neighborhood dogs
I like it a lot they keep doing events to try to keep the community together a lot of lovely people can’t complain about anything I enjoy my time here
I like living here a lot! The location is perfect and has access to a lot of stores and any necessities you would need especially while moving in. The office staff is super nice but I always have issues getting into contact with anyone.
I love my new apartment. The office staff is great and the location is perfect. Maintenance responds quickly and very courteous. It’s very quiet here and I love the hiking trails nearby. So happy I found Rise, I love my new home.
I have never experienced such unprofessionalism than I have with two of the women in the front office. Not only have I been spoken to very poorly, but my boyfriend and sister as well, on several different occasions. Never once have been apologized to. truly can not wait until my lease ends and I don't have to live here any longer. Knowing they are "in charge" of anything I may need, gives me an anxiety that I hope no one else ever has to experience. I implore you: please find a different complex to live in. A different once may not be better but I promise it couldn’t be worse.
My second apartment here. I have a perfect view of the pool. Been here since 2017. The new Amazon hub is really cool. The office and maintenance staff are always on top of everything.
Do not even bother. The apartment management and the First Response Towing plays dirty. Your car will get towed more than likely whether you are a resident or not. The main point is, they take your tag info down when you get here, give you a paper tag or a cheap hanger tag. Well, sometimes with the paper tag, it has to be taken off the dash or it falls from the hanger. Well, if you forget or it was an accident and the tow company comes up here late at night (after 10:30 - early in the morning) and looks through the windows for tags, and if he doesn’t see yours, he tows it, $185 cash or if you’re lucky a $75 drop fee if he hooks it up. All cash. Management doesn’t have sense enough or they are just trying to make life difficult for us, they do not give a list of authorized tags on the property, she claims it’s liability, but that’s a stupid excuse, tag numbers are not protected as anyone can see it, just look for it on the list and leave it. Well now they have an off duty cop they give discounted rent to, he goes around now and points the cars out. You would think that he could be trusted with a tag list, but no, they still tow it whether the person lives here or not based on the hanging tag not being in the window. This doesn’t make any sense, they call it luxury, but it’s not when you stay up late at night wondering if your car will get towed or be gone the next morning. I watched him tow many of the residents cars and it’s not right, this isn’t how things should operate. If they are not getting kickbacks, they should do a service to the people who pay a fortune for rent that don’t have money and give the list to the security officer to double check if yes, the car should be here or not. Shame on you people. This is down right wrong and nobody wants them here. Also, they treat us like children with rubber bands for going into the pool, “for safety”, but yet you could wait in line for the one person inside filling out a contract forever it seems to wait for a pool pass before going into the pool that is right there. They treat us like kids, when we clearly have enough sense to work hard for our money and pay these high prices for so little, but yet so much hassle. They then see these posts and offers us a credit or something to take these comments down and post a good comment. Stop trying to give people the wrong impression, this is not luxury living when again, your car may be missing when you wake up even though you’re a resident here. A little tag hangi
Ashley gave us our first tour and later became in charge, which I was extremely excited about. She's been so sweet and helpful whenever we have an issue, and the maintenance staff is great as well. We've been here for 2 years and are renewing a 6-month lease since the whole virus situation, and she helped us out with that as well. If we had any negative it would be the service fee for paying online adds about $20 more on our rent, but we are using money orders and checks instead.
I’ve lived at the rise going on two years now, I have to Say at first I was very disappointed with the way our move in experience went, but since then the staff and the crew has been working diligently to make the rise a better place to live. I would totally recommend you to live at the rise at signal Mountain now because if you’re not satisfied the crew and the staff will work very hard to make sure all your accommodations are met.
After searching for the right place to live for 5 years, Rise at Signal Mountain has been the perfect fit! The office staff is wonderful and helps you with anything and everything you might need. The location is ideal and I have no complaints at all about living here!
This property has been my home for two years now and I have zero complaints! The staff is always willing to accommodate to their residents- ensuring everyone’s needs are met with a smile of their faces. This property is nice, in a great location, quiet, and even has hiking trails behind the apartments.
I've enjoyed the convenient location and the friendly, responsive office staff. Units are EPB fiber optics ready now which is a great perk. My A/C was ineffective during the summer months, but thankfully was replaced at the end of last summer so it should be better this year. Overall it's been a nice place to live and any issues have been addressed with care and concern.
The office staff members are really nice and helpful with anything I need. Overall, it’s been a good place to live - I’ve always felt safe and the location is great. Only downsides to me is that people tend to speed through the property & the walls/ceilings are a little thin.
