As its name implies, the Medical District is home to multiple medical facilities including Parkland Memorial Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas. The neighborhood is also home to several office buildings. Locals enjoy plenty of restaurant options that range from casual barbecue joints to fine dining establishments, but it’s common for residents to go outside of the neighborhood for an even wider selection. This urban neighborhood boasts an excellent location and is convenient to several of Dallas’ most popular areas including Downtown Dallas, Uptown, and the Design District. Interstate 35E and Medical/Market Center train station make traveling to these hotspots easier. Housing options include apartments, upscale high-rise lofts, and ranch-style houses.

Property Ratings at Rise Highland Park
They renamed the apartments but lived here for 3 yrs and every 4 months had new management. Awful neighborhood and they never answer the phone good luck getting anything done.
This apartment complex will not respond to your calls or maintenance requests. Air conditioning broke and I have been without air conditioning for two days with temperatures inside my apartment reaching more than 90 degrees. When calling the emergency maintenance hotline they state being left without A/C is a maintenance emergency, and I would agree it is being in Texas. I have called the emergency maintenance hotline multiple times and left multiple voicemails without response. I have submitted formal work orders through the resident portal without response. I have called and left voicemails with the leasing staff without response. I also went up to the leasing office to talk to someone during their posted business hours and the office is marked as closed. When I arrived at the office at 4:15 PM the office was marked closed despite them stating they are open until 5 PM. You can clearly see staff inside the leasing office and the golf cart is outside but doors are locked and the "closed will return at 8:30 AM" sign is up. I am now having to pay to stay at a hotel because my apartment is uninhabitable and I cannot get in contact with anyone who works here. If you like to pay rent and utilities for an apartment that you cannot live in then rent at Lure Apartments. Otherwise I would take your business elsewhere.
Great Property with friendly staff. You will not be disappointed

I moved into the Lure several months ago and I must say, being in the same industry(no I do not work for this company), I am very impressed with the service from the Office Staff, Manager, and the quick turn around with the Maintenance Requests. The Property is kept up nicely and the grounds are always clean. I love my apartment. Very spacious and open floor plan as well as a large patio. I will be here for a long time. Thank you Lure for making my move simple and for making my stay a pleasant one.

It has been one of the best properties I have ever lived on. The Staff is spectacular and always makes sure the job is well done! Maintenance man Anier demonstrated excellence with his customer service. The entire staff has always been very personable and made me feel very proud to call this home. I look very forward to my years ahead here on the Lure Property!

This is a great place to live right on the edge of the original Cedar Spring. Since Karya Management took over, everyone has beautiful upgrades. I have the old stuff but have been treated so well and have amazing neighbors. Andy, on the maintenance staff, is the best and everyone loves him.

We’ve been living in this community for 6 years now. It’s small and quiet, generally well kept and management and staff are attentive and very friendly. There’s no perfect apartment complex or perfect neighbors but here we see the team working to always improve. We like it so much that we now have friends living in our building.

I have lived here for just about 10 months and it’s been a downhill slide since I moved. The first staff didn’t really have my place ready at move in. Then there were a lot of things not right with my apt that I made sure to note for my move out. None were ever fixed. Including the mysterious keyfob for the gate. Many people have never received one, and apparently never will. We are on our third website and second payment app, and second management team. Covered parking is too small. Can’t fit two cars unless they are Fiat. Lots of leaks and slow maintenance. Loud party music neighbors that they do nothing about. Potheads, etc. as noted in some other reviews. Really is a shame because the location could be great. It’s just not now.

Here at The Lure Apartments, we strive to offer the best in tenant satisfaction and service. Such an inconvenience to you is unacceptable and we'll work to immediately mitigate this problem. Please fill out a form at https://karyamanagement.com/contact/ in order for us to have this in the system and for our maintenance staff to be alerted. We apologize again for this difficulty. Thank you
I am soooo ready for my lease to be up. I’ve lived here for around 9 months and I’ve seen the property decline in this short time. I have a pothead that lives below me that smokes 24/7, but theirs nothing they can do about it. The staff that worked there when I moved in (the staff changes every couple of months) stated they knew it was an issue, because the person before me complained as well. I’ve gone up the chain and they will let me break my lease with a 60 day notice and a fee, are you kidding me? One of the comments stated about the maintenance, I totally agree. It took them about a month in the summer to fix my air conditioner after it was getting over 90 degrees in my apartment with my air running 24/7. At one point they said, you could get one of those portable air conditioners...um, no, you need to fix this one. My friend and neighbors apartment, the ceiling fell in on his apartment after a lot of rain AFTER they “patched it” previously. It’s a good price for the location, but it’s not worth the headaches and terrible staff that could care less about the people that lives there. Run from this place, trust me!

Chad, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that we did not meet your level of expectation. The Lure Team strives for excellence daily and takes your feedback seriously. We value you as a resident and would like to meet with you to discuss your concerns in detail at your convenience. Please stop by our Leasing Office or reach out to us via phone or email to schedule a meeting.
I have been living in this place for just 3 Months! I just want people to know this before you consider signing a 12 month lease with this place! This place is the absolute opposite of what they portray on their website, their bedrooms are not spacious, their Gym equipment makes noise when you’re using it! There appears to be water on the floor of the gym and is completely awfull! Their “on-site amenities are basically a wall staind shed where they house old washing equipment! Is beyond pathetic! They do not have a “resort” style pool and is not even close! Is filthy all the time because they do not clean it. The worst part about this place is the “staff” specially the manager, when you go up to ask about anything; they seemed to be more interested in getting rid of you than resolving the problem! The type of people who looks at you un and down and thinks they are smarter than you!! How can it get worse? When you put in a maintenance request, they send you and email that says the technician fix it! Except for you get home and the issue has not been resolved, then when you complaint again they give you the silent treatment! Unfortunately I’m stuck here for 10 more months, but if you are reading this, DO NOT MOVE HERE! I was where you’re and I should have chosen better!

Located 2 mins to uptown night life bars, restaurants, and shopping 8 mins to downtown. the apartment is comfortable appliances are upgraded, wood flooring on 1st floor only, bathrooms do need more upgrades like the sink and bathtub should be replaced instead of painted. over all the kitchen is really nice black counter tops. new light fixtures patio is spacious. There is a dog park, covered parking for extra cost and they tow daily making it easy to have trespasser's cars taken that should not be there. maintenance is quick since this is a small complex. the community is mostly singles and roommate's they do have 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. washer and dryer connections. and the community is gated. with a secure gym open 24 hours, pool is kind of small but has tanning ledge, covered canopy and giant gas grill to use by the pool for outdoor fun. overall I don't have any major complaints.
