New Jersey is the garden state, and Florham Park is its rose. This beautiful community is roughly 14 miles west of Newark, providing easy access to the nearby city but featuring a rural landscape filled with tall trees and flowerbeds. Florham Park is probably best known as the training center for the New York Jets -- it is also the location of BASF, the world's largest chemical corporation.
Florham Park was first settled by colonists around 1680 as Hoppingtown. It quickly gained a reputation for broom-making and the name was changed to Broomtown. When the granddaughter of America's richest citizen, Cornelius Vanderbilt, moved to the area in 1887, she named her 840-acre estate "Florham," a combination of her name, Florence, and her husband's, Hamilton. Florham Park became a borough in 1899.

Property Ratings at River Bend at Florham Park
Mary and the maintenance staff are some of the best people that do what they do. The apartments are large, clean, and updated. If you are looking for a rental in Florham Park NJ these townhomes are tops compared to the others. Lived at Riverbend for 2 leases, and only moved to be closer to work.
We lived here at Riverbend for 1 year, while we sold one home and built another. This complex is very well managed and maintained. Mary and Maro promptly and efficiently take care of all needs. They make Riverbend feel like your living at a 5 Star resort. Our neighbors were friendly, respectful, and quiet. We, very much, enjoyed our stay here at Riverbend.
My family and I lived here in a Chatham model (2bd/2ba) for seven years. We would have stayed for much longer but relocated to a neighboring town for the excellent schools. Pros: - Mary is a polished professional and keeps the property running smoothly - Mauro is a friendly super with a very competent and timely crew - Grounds and landscaping is so good, especially in Spring with the cherry blossoms, the scenery could be on a postcard (or on Instagram) - The azure blue pool, with music from the speakers and plants and resort umbrellas strategically placed, makes you feel like you're staying in a resort Cons: - A couple of times a year, the power goes down for no apparent reason, for about 30 minutes We will miss living here - we know some neighbors that have lived here since 2000 (when the property was built), and haven't moved since! Mary and Mauro do a spectacular job of making you feel at home as residents of this community.
I had lived here for 4 years in the "Florham Park" , 2 bedroom. Bright, Sunny, Updated, safe --- peaceful to come back to home from work and sit in the balcony. Walked regularly to Chatham downtown.. great eateries. Close to train station to NY,groceries, easy access to highway. Mary, the manager and Mauro, who headed up maintenance were excellent - always responsive, helpful and flexible I looked a lot before finding a place.. definitely the best find for money, space, staff and location. Recommending wholeheartedly. Moved out of state, reason for leaving
Mary is the person who you sign up with, she is the same person you escalate any issues to, and the same person who closes you out at the end of the lease. This means that she actually wants you to have a good experience throughout the lease (most apartments have different people selling you the lease versus the ones taking care of things for you later). This means you have a consistent experience with Mary. She is highly responsive, very attentive, and becomes your single point of contact (besides maintenance, who are also a small crew, thus great to work with) for any issues or challanges you have. I would highly recommend renting from this apartment complex. Our apartment itself faced the trees in the back and was a beautiful backdrop to see all the seasons. If you want a positive and stress-free experience where people care about you, this is the place to rent at!
Excellently maintained and apportioned living space. Great access to major highways, shopping centers and restaurants. Tremendous management team and easy to move in. Unit was spotless. On-site sales person (Mary) is remarkably accommodating and responsive to issues.
I am a current resident at River Bend at Florham Park, what I love best about living here is that the community is very well maintained. Maintenance issues are resolved within a reasonable time. The onsite leasing agent Mary is also very helpful and made my move here very easy. She also has community events which is nice because it gave me a chance to meet other residents. It is a commuters paradise in that free transportation is available to the Chatham train station located 1 mile away, the Livingston and Short Hills Malls are also within 2 miles. If you like working out there is a gym located in the cozy clubhouse or if you like walking outdoors, the community is located on a flat area where you can walk the community or walk up to Chatham and back. One of the better places I have lived so far.
Riverbend has a great location close to Chatham, Livingston, Short Hills and Newark Airport. Major malls are within a short distance. A NJ Transit train connection to Manhattan is available in Chatham, approx. 2 miles away. The apartments are in good shape, the complex is clean, quiet and family friendly. The complex management is very attentive and always available to help and solve issues quickly. So far I had no major issues. I really enjoy living here. All in all Riverbend deserves a 5 star rating for me.
I have lived in a few apartment complexes and this is one of the nicer places I have been. The location is perfect, its only a few miles from Chatam/Madison/Livingston and a quick drive to Morristown. Its also close to Newark airport for those who travel. The apartments are in good shape. The few issues I have had so far where quickly attended to. There is no noise to speak of. The complex is quite and family friendly. The staff is what sold me on moving here. Mary is so warm and friendly, and is always available to help, no matter how busy she is. The amenities are good for the most part. The pool is always clean and the club house is cozy. The only issue is that the gym equipment is dated and in rough shape. So for the over all value, I would definitely give it a 5 start rating.
