I’ve had an amazing experience here. The staff is awesome, the grounds and property are kept up. If there’s an issue with your unit the maintenance team is fast. The office is very interactive with us and alway has events planned for the residents. I love it here.

Love the River house. The location can’t be beat. leasing office staff and maintenance staff are stellar. They have great food trucks that show up outside the complex occasionally and have fun events.

The apartment charged me on the way out $100 more than their quoted price on the damages sheet using the asterisk of "subject to change" for all quoted prices. With that justification "of touch up", the whole apartment was repainted and then I was charged for this. It took over a month to notify me of this outstanding charge, even with me calling weekly to check in. Once notified, I attempted to receive an explanation for why the charges were so high. I received some poor quality photos as justification. I was not given an explanation and received another phone call two weeks later being told my bill would be moving to collection unless an attorney responded. All I wanted was a reasonable explanation. Prior to move out the maintenance guy checked my apartment and said the different marks and holes were fine and just wear and tear and not to worry about it. I wanted a bridge of where it went from no payment to extra charges. Outside of that debacle, the walls and floors are very thin. You can hear everything from people walking, music playing, TVs, to dogs howling through the day. Horrible place if you need to work from home. Additionally, there were multiple times accidental fire alarms went off in the middle of the night causing evacuation of the building as well as during the day when I was not home and therefore my pets had to suffer through the alarms. Next, I moved out about two months ago now. The apartment still hasn't disconnected my contact information from my old apartment. I have been receiving information about the current tenant who lives there every time she submits a request to the office. Once again poor form and bad business practice to not be safeguarding tenants' personal information. Lastly, this was not a reliable place to receive mail. Multiple packages were lost, whether that's the apartments fault or the post office, it doesn't matter. I didn't get packages that I had either paid for or people sent. I also had an incident where my deployed husband sent me a bouquet and birthday letter. This was accepted by the office, and I was never notified. My husband finally asked if I received them, and I went to question the office. They told me that they did in fact arrive, but the flowers started to smell bad so they just threw the whole thing away to include the letter my husband had sent. I asked for compensation for at least the monetary value of the flowers and was told that it was my loss.

I had (and still have) a question about my waterbill. I started asking months ago. I still have not heard back from River House. They are always polite when I call or stop by to ask. But nothing happens. I've never experienced anything like this at any other apartment house I've lived in. Unbelievable. Beware.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this apartment. When I moved in, multiple parts of my apartment were broken including the air conditioning being out in the middle of the summer. It took a month to get everything fixed, with the air conditioning breaking 4 times since. Multiple other basic amenities have broken, good location but not worth the overall hassle, unfortunately.

I moved here from out of state and had no idea where to live. I looked up the reviews for River House and they were great and after talking with the leasing staff, especially Cosme, I decided to live here. Everyone in the leasing office is helpful and gave me places to go around the apartment and made my move easy. I liked that since I was not able to actually fly into town to see the place they emailed me additional photos and answered all my questions. Would absolutely recommend living here and you can't beat the price for the location.

14 months into living here, I still love it. I am in my late twenties, looking for a better-than-average apartment with perks like W/D in unit, nice pool view, and spacious closet. I found it here and am renewing my lease. The complex is great - beautiful landscaping, view of SAMA, clean large gym. The community is fun, and being moderately social, I can hang out with neighbors some of the time and take a solo walk on the River some of the time. The rent is not bad. I have looked up and down this area, and the only places with lower prices have significantly fewer amenities. Thanks to RH staff for such a great experience.

The Riverhouse Apartments is an ideal biome community for the traveling professional. I am an undergraduate student studying abroad. When I heard about the freeze warning, I used the Community App to create a Service Request and returned to my studies. The next day I received confirmation that my apartment home was safe from the freeze.

Great apartments, clean and good service. However my roommates car was stolen from the Garage and the video cameras werent recording. The manager was unhelpful and refused to come to the building when the incident occurred on a Saturday. Not a great experience. The rest of our experiences however have been wonderful, the staff is nice and helpful.

We have only lived at RH for less than one month but so far we are very happy here. We enjoy walking to the Pearl for food and drinks and to people watch.

Do not move here if you value your yourself and your money. Units are old and not up to par with other properties in the same area. They charge for absolutely everything. If you do not give a 60 day notice to move out you will be charged an 85% reletting fee. We had to move out at the end of our lease due to loss of employment because of Covid. My husband lost his job 2 weeks before our lease was up, before that we had planned to renew our lease for an additional few months until our home was finished. River House nor Greystar is willing to work with us in regards to the reletting fee. River House told me they would reach out to Greystar to see if anything could be done under their “covid relief” in terms of reducing or waiving the fee. I spoke with Greystar and they said they would reach out to River House and see if anything could be done about reducing or waiving the fee. So who is in charge? Both are just giving me the run around and dont want to help families during these unfortunate times. Neither value their tenants. I received a letter from Greystar stating “please know that we are incredibly sympathetic and aware of what is happening in our country...we want to do what it takes to help you during this time of need”. Then help people out!!! When we first moved here we were on the 1st floor which was terrible. You can here absolutely everything the person above you is doing, walking, flushing the toilet, closing doors etc... it was unbearable. We decided to move to a top floor unit, which is a $500 fee by the way. Both units we lived in had roaches. Pest control is supposed to come but we never saw them and our service request was never completed. Plumbing system is very bizarre, there was leak in a unit 2 floors down and we arrived home to our dishwasher disassembled and plumber in our unit stating the leak was coming from us. The location is nice but that’s about it.

River House is a great little community located right now in the river. I thoroughly enjoy running along the river and going to the Museum of Art right across the street. I feel safe while in my apartment, which means a lot since I am a younger individual. The location provides access to a lot of fun places to eat and relax at as well!

Beautiful location by the Riverwalk, walking distance from the Pearl and nearby bars (but just far enough to not have noise issues at night). The combo of the location and open floor plan with lots of cabinet space sold me, but friendliness and attentiveness of management has been a bonus. Especially during pandemic, they went above and beyond to host virtual socials or bring food trucks to us. And I am super appreciative they got us virtual fitness classes since the fitness center had to close for safety. The quality of life is excellent.

Riverhouse Apartments is a true utopian oasis for the visceral senses. A coup de grace for urban jungle. The property and staff are hyperventilate in maintain a pleasing visualspatial atmosphere from the sociolinguistic music to the aroma that supplants any blight of the urban living.

Only moved in 2 weeks ago, but so far have had a great experience. Loreely did not disappoint, and was extremely attentive when I was simply looking at properties from my laptop in Brooklyn. She convinced me to move in, and I'm happy I did. You cannot beat the location, amenities, and price point for this type of property. While I may be a bit biased coming from NY, I believe this to be an excellent facility, and look forward to the next year plus here.
Great property but be cautious of leasing a unit that has someone above you. You can hear everything.
Love this place.
