Property Ratings at Riverpark Towers
Nothing to complain about, price is decent and competitive with everything else in Athens
Cons: -AC went out for two weeks during the first part of the semester. And now has gone out again for another two weeks until they can prepare the roof for the new chiller. The only thing that has been done to fix this issue was they provided a limited number of fans for the time being. We have not been compensated for rent. - They shut off the water all day for unknown reasons all throughout the year. -I've been waiting over a month for maintenance to fix multiple problems after a maintenance worker already showed up to fix the issue 10 mins before his shift was over. I was told he would be back the next day....Never showed. - The hallways are dingy and smell awful. - Laundry costs money, and good luck finding one that works. - Over 8 Squirrels were found living inside my bedroom wall. Took over 2 weeks for River Park to resolve this issue. After complaining about the infestation a River Park employee mentioned that "Living with squirrels is no different than when she was in college and lived with a cat". Don't recommend anyone to ever live here, unless you enjoy the river park staff taking advantage of college students. Pros: Free coffee
DO NOT LIVE HERE. This has been one of the most stressful semester, not due to school, but due to the inhumane living conditions offered here. We have recorded temperatures in out apartment of up to 100 degrees. Our fridge is broken, our sink is broken, our shower is broken. Everything smells like mold from the heat. Maintenance is nothing but rude and unhelpful when we called. The supervisor will not call me back and when I go to the office they keep referring me to the elusive manager. Will not rent again and do not recommend
I stayed there for one year the Ac wasn’t working at all neither on the summer nor winter, I had to call them every month to fix it and still inside my room I could barely breathe in the summer. They took 300 dollars deposit for damages and broken stuff, and they paid me back only 80 dollars, and they mentioned 120 dollars cleaning fees for the kitchen which doesn’t make any sense. My advice search for another place they are useless
RiverPark Apartments are one of the safest feeling
