Property Ratings at River Pointe Apartments
Don't move in. There are plenty of issues from roaches, crappy appliances, terrible finish work, leaky ceilings, and then everything goes unresolved when you let management know. Management nonchalant and only cares about your rental payment. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.
management is the worst owner is even worst maintenace never fix anything small closet space they put a bandage on the real problems when they do decide to make it look like something is fix even if its cold outside people hang outside drinking and smoking worst place to live for the price
Office staff is horrible. Numerous numerous issues in apartment to be repaired and it takes months and call after call. Attitudes are off the chain with office staff. Will be leaving here as soon as leasemup and have filed complaint with Consumer Protection Agency as calls for repairs are not relayed. When you phone back, again and again, its a problem. Contacting owners of property with numerous issues ver the past two years.
People hang outside and make noise all hours of the night, they let their dogs bark all night, it smells like weed all the time and nobody knows how to throw trash away in the dumpster. It takes forever for anything to get repaired...or sometimes it never gets repaired, apartments are old (bathroom was gross and moldy when moved in), bedrooms too small and roaches. If you don't have Section 8 (like a lot of the tenants) and have to pay the full amount, you will NOT be happy for what you get for the money.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I moved here April 2015 and was unaware my unit had a carbon monoxide leak, I should have known something because the contractors for Washington gas has been digging up the entire complex for months. The rental office Manager lied and informed me that the problem was fixed and it was not! I had to call the fire department several times and they cut the gas off to the stove twice and informed me that I needed to move ASAP for my own health. After begging the rental office to do something I returned home to what they call a repair and the entire building reeked from gas. This was result of them trying to fix the repair and creating another leak and leaving the stove on all day in 90 degree temperatures. I then called the fire department and the stove was shut down again. On top of this the so called Manager is beyond unprofessional, chewing her food while you are talking to her, no return calls, no follow up to ensure items are addressed, staffing falsifying service tickets and no regard for the residents, you are just a check to them, nothing more. I have been in and out of the hospital for month and the rental office has no concern. Finally I was transferred to another temporary unit only until my new apartment OFF THE property is ready and was threatened by the Regional Manger to sign a 12 month lease for the temporary until so she will lock me out of the apartment. Great Customer Service right, it gets better. On top of that the apartments are small, a queen size bed will barely fit in the bedroom and it leave little walking room and they are not move in ready. The day of my move in the carpet looked like pigs lived in the unit, walls patched up from damage from upstairs, no shower curtain rod, bathroom ceiling had holes with leaking water from upstairs and mold, old blinds that would not close and no base board trim around the floor to the carpet, very few parking spaces unless you pay $20.00 extra month, guys hanging outside drinking and smoking all night, they also accepts section 8 and they play music all night and yelling and screaming and let’s not forget cars getting broken into and the best part is they want $1400.00 at the least for all of this. So there you have it information I wish I had before moving in and getting sick from the carbon and gas leak.If you want proof please email me for pictures and documentation at myssllh@gmail.com
I love this complex. It has improved very much. I love that all the utilities are free. Would love to move here soon.
