Resting an hour and a half north of Philadelphia, Bethlehem is located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, steeped in rich industrial and colonial history. It’s endured a revitalization over the years, but its surge in popularity hasn’t hampered its old-city charm. While Bethlehem may be under 20 square miles, there is a ton to discover.
Experience the city’s beginnings in the historic downtown district, which houses several museums and landmarks. Spend a day learning about mills, wash house, and other structures in the Colonial Industrial Quarter, or the town’s role in the steel industry at the National Museum of Industrial History. After your history lesson, visit some of the specialty shops, galleries, and local eateries in the downtown area.
If you’re an art lover, you’ll fit right in because this quaint town is home to a vibrant visual and performing arts scene, with several spaces dedicated to artistic expression.

Property Ratings at River Pointe
There was a fire 1/31/23 next door to us and the fireman are saying that they believe it’s due to property negligence to electrical work, there’s no fire wall to prevent spreading to other apartments. The owners were there last tues because I went to salvage what I could of my things and overheard them asking the inspectors when can they start renting again. They don’t care for your safety and are money hungry. They make you pay for inspection for the unit when it should be their responsibility. The owners didn’t show no sign of empathy for the financial burden put on us or didn’t even bother to fake apologize either. All I asked was for a free month or two to get back on our feet because we lost a lot of expensive furniture and moving cost, clothing, cleaning supplies lost days of work because of this and NOTHING. They gave me another unit with another 15 months and still made me pay last 2 months of utilities of the other unit n rent. I was planing on moving in may. I lost sentimental things I had left of my mom that they could never replace. They offer a gym membership free like that’s gonna make up for it. The worst of the worst place I ever lived in. They make you pay insurance for the apartment. I wouldn't move here or stay longer than I have to. I don’t want ya to contact me either because what is said, been said. I’m furious with the answer given to me for their negligence.
well manage, property is well cared for anfd they accept pets. Bethlehem is a wondeful town with plenty to do.

Thank you so much for the 5-Star review! We appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. If there is anything we can do for you going forward, please be sure to let us know! Thank you kindly - The team at River Pointe
I lived here for over two years. We had problems with rats and insects for starters. Pest control came for mice once, but seeing how maintenance neglected to fix the big hole under my dishwasher that went directly into the neighbors house, the mice just kept coming back. We ended up having to set traps ourselves and one of the traps behind our fridge caught a mouse so I asked for maintenance to come over and help me move the fridge to remove the dead mouse and in the meantime they ripped the kitchen floor which never got repaired the entire time I lived there. We also had to re-screen our sliding screen door ourselves in order to have one that didn’t have holes so we could open it and have it used in the spring and summer time. I put in requests for all of the window screens to be replaced which was never done so we were never able to open our windows when it was nice out without huge bugs getting in through these massive holes. I was also an employee while I lived there so if I couldn’t even get work orders done good luck getting anything done in your apartment. Upper management likes to speak a lot of game about caring about residents and really being there for you guys but it is really all just a big joke. They get to sit back and they’re nice comfy homes seeing how this is a multi million dollar company and they don’t have any cares about putting people out on the street

The pictures that they have displayed will look nothing like the unit you actually get. The model is beautiful in person and on the website, but, your actual unit....oh boy. This is so dishonest. I understand that they are under new management, so new management should renovate the units when the tenants move out. The buildings are run down and the kitchen's need serious renovations with major appliance updates. I would not recommend.
Except for the price, the property is very bad, when I lived there there was some shooting going on,also management, extremely rude and unhelpful. Also maintenance left an A/C fan at my apartment, and when I was going to give it back next day, coming to work I did not find it.. I know that came and took it but there was no notice or anything. Also there are rodends mice/rats, and you can see dead ones occasionally outside on the ground
The worse place ever with management team that will invade your privacy and makes your life miserable
Nice location quite nice senic view of the pocono mountains near the sands casino 20 mins away from Downey park near Lehigh valley health network and st Luke's hospitals close to routes 22 33 & 78
This apartment complex is awesome. The staff are very friendly they get back to you very quickly, the apartments are well kept and it's very quiet. Neighbors are friendly overall a positive experience living here.
