Property Ratings at River Pointe
This place is so bad that there is no security guard every day someone steals things from the car. My husband and I had all our tools stolen from the car but the manager didn't help and didn't have a camera.
When we moved here it was the best place in the entire Kent area, now it's like they rent to anyone that don't even check credit. My lease it's about to expire and I can Not wait until that so I can get the heck out of here. Don't move here if you want to be happy.
I've found my dream Apartment. Spacious floor plans, stainless steel appliances and quite, small neighborhood. Chelsea, the manager, is awesome. We have a new maintenance man, who is always on top of requests from residents. I have found my dream home.
Very quiet neighborhood! Heated pool for the chilly days! You get a free covered parking spot included with rent! Washer and dryer in unit. Love the workout facility and tanning bed! New Manger Chelsea is on top of everything and gets things taken care of quickly! Spacious apartments as well

We currently have a new manager (Chelsea) and things have already started to improve drastically. The parking lot had huge pot hole that have been here since we first moved here in August of '18, they were fixed within the month of her arriving. We are constantly being updated on new projects to come etc. Looking forward to another year here.
They make rules regarding parking but dont enforce it! For example, they say that each unit is only allowed 2 vehicles but there are several units with at least 3-4 vehicles!! Making it hard to find any parking!! Next they say you are not suppose to reverse park into stalls, yet i still see several vehicles reversed parked into stalls!!! There are several deep potholes around the parking area, ive lived here since 11/2018 & they said they were gonna have it fixed, its now almost 06/2019, they haven't fixed NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first being the potholes. We are very aware of the issue at hand and we have a signed contract with a vendor to have the parking lot potholes filled. However, getting potholes filled is greatly dependent on the weather. Since your tenancy in November, we have not experienced a consistent and reliable string of permissible weather that would allow for the vendor to treat the potholes. This is a decision made at the discretion of the vendor, not management. The great news is that we are now entering the summer months which will allow for our vendor to be able to get scheduled and treat the potholes in the conditions necessary for the repair. We appreciate our residents patience on this manner, and hope that this information has helped clarify the situation. As for parking, we understand the frustration of others having unauthorized vehicles or not obeying parking rules. We are in the process of identifying these residents and properly contacting them to resolve the issue. We appreciate that you are vigilant in following the rules and holding your fellow residents accountable. We hope that this information has provided some insight. After dealing with foreclosure this year, we had to hurry to find an apartment and we end up at River Pointe Apartment. It was hard for mom&I to move on at first but with the manager Germaine, and the friendliness of the tenants in the building the transition became easier. We are staying in a 2bed 2bath and a spacious living with decent amenities:gym, sauna, pool, tanning, & a small party area. Our mngr. Germaine is the sweetest lady, and always on top of things when we needed small fix from our move. We were very please with how clean, quiet and welcoming each and everyone in the building. They also arrange a get together for all tenants with food & music that way we all get a chance to get to know and watch out for each other. I thought that's very nice of them. When we needed maintenance, they came right away and fix the problem. Overall this place gives us comfort of being in a real home,we couldn't be any happier.
Each apartment is set with alarm system. We have spacious parking for guest and car ports for all apartments. It has a swimming pool for all and exercise room with tanning booth. The outside area is kept neat and manicured and it is a pleasant feeling to drive up and know it is your home. The landlady and superintendent are present on the premises at all times. Security is number one selling point. It seems to cater to working class stiffs, so noise and parties are over early. I have been here for 3 years and I hope to make it longer. I don't have to worry about upkeep, and repairs are made quickly upon asking. We are of senior years but love it here and feel very secure in out surroundings. Rent increases have been reasonable and until rehab calls us this is where we want to be.
