River Ridge

I lived at River Ridge for 30 weeks. During that time, I submitted 21 maintenance requests. Our biggest issue and concern was ants. I submitted the first maintenance request for ants on April 2, and we were still dealing with ants when we moved out on June 23, around two and a half months later. It does not take that long to get rid of ants. Having ants in the kitchen is disgusting as that is where we prepare food and our food is stored. We had to throw out quite a bit of food that ants had gotten into, which is very frustrating. And, as we continued to clean the windowsills and floors, we kept finding live and dead ants. It is completely disgusting and also a health hazard. I submitted a maintenance request on Monday, 5/28 (after several previous requests), and in that case, no one came to my apartment until 6/8 (and that was the first time an actual exterminator came - over two months after the issue started). I am just astonished at how this situation has been handled and how ants in my kitchen wasn't taken more seriously to get resolved, especially when the issue started because they spread untreated mulch outside buildings, so it wasn't our fault.

Apartments are great and affordable with modern updates and appliances. Constant maintenance workers to help with any problems on call or within 24 hours. Friendly staff-- when I forgot my key at work they lent me another so I didn't have to go all the way back to work! Walking distance to a couple of great bars and chipotle! Can't say enough good things!

The open floor plan makes you feel like you have more square footage than it really is. The complex feels very safe because it is a gated community. I have felt very comfortable in my apartment and it really feels like home!

I've lived at River Ridge for a year. The best apartment I've ever lived in, albeit a little pricey. Facing the back of a restaurant was annoying initially with trash trucks sometimes emptying dumpster in the middle of the night, but I've gotten used to that. Office staff and maintenance are great. They plan events for residents every month, usually at a nearby restaurant with free appetizers and/or pizza. Parking has been a pain lately with very few empty apartments. Getting back later in the evening can result in having to park a building or two away, maybe further. Still a great place to live, but I will be moving shortly to a little cheaper apartment.

They are very friendly as a staff. Very convienant to local shops and restaurants. I like the set up of my apartment and like how has a pool and a nice work out facility.

I am going on my third year living here and think this is a great apartment complex to live in. The maintenance staff is extremely helpful and respond quickly to issues.

We have a 2 bed 2 bath spacious apartment with 9ft ceilings. There are a lot of dogs in the complex which is nice since we have 2 of our own. The staff is very friendly.

I have lived at River Ridge for over 2 years. I love the community and the friendly staff. They make sure to take care of their residents needs and wants. I would recommend the property to others.

If the management would take care of the horrible garbage/recycle issues that exist. Currently I dispose of both through a friend's garbage/recycle pick up!

River Ridge apartments is very well-kept. The environment is lovely and the staffs here are very helpful. The location is very convenient too, only 4 minutes drive to fashion mall. The only downside is that the trash center is tooo far away, which makes it very inconvenient for living.However, in spite of that, I love living here! So far so good~

I have lived here for three years, and find it a nice place tok live. All maintance request I every submitted have allways been completed by the next day, there are a far of places to eat within walking distance and there is plenty of shopping experineces about 2 miles away with lightband easy traffic in the way. It's farily quiet and if i where to make any complaints I would have to say the parking can be an issue if you come home later in the evening

This apartment complex has really earned the five-star review from me. I have lived here for over four years. Every thing is perfect. The staff is very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I liked the fact that they were honest with me by showing me the apartment which I could rent if I like it, not like some other apartment which has an apartment for show, but the condition of the apartment you can actually rent is not that good. Their response to my request for any maintenance service was quick. The issues were really fixed, not bandaged. I feel safe going out and coming home because the apartment has a gate built around it which can be opened by people who live here or are authorized to come in for a visit. Of the four years living here, I have no problem with any neighbor, and my car was safe as well. Every thing else, shopping, restaurants, etc... are very close, so it is very convenient. Moved in a couple months back and have liked it so far. The staff is really helpful and are always get back to you within a day. Could definitely use a clean up outside the apartments

I've been living in my apartment for over a year now and its absolutely amazing. My kitchen is huge and is open to the living room so we can cook and entertain at the same time. It's so spacious and everything looks incredible. The cabinets, counters, walls, ceiling fans... everything is modern and in great condition! I love having people over because it looks so nice and we have so much room for entertaining. The enormous balcony might be my favorite part! We have dinner and drinks out there all the time and the cats love being outdoors! When we have pool days the pool is quiet and comfortable. You can definitely have a relaxing Saturday by the pool at River Ridge... not like some places where its seems like a kegger every day of the week! Also, there are so many incredible restaurants right down the street. We love eating good food and trying new things and there is always something amazing just around the corner!

We have had a great experience at River Ridge! I needed an apartment quickly in April, and they were able to find me a place right away. Management is great and everything is well kept and clean. Our place has tons of space and we love it!

The maintenance staff is excellent here. Any maintenance tickets are resolved on the same day. security inside the apartment is too good too. I would have given 5 stars if the kitchen interior like the cooking slap were marble and perhaps better carpet would be excellent. I would certainly recommend this apartment to all my friends

This is a great apartment that is close to tons of shopping amenities, restaurants, bars and is just a hop skip and a jump away from downtown Indianapolis. It is close to the Monon and other parks that are great for biking, running and hanging out with friends. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is the perfect place to hangout at on a hot summer day. The gym area is super convenient and great for squeezing in a quick workout on a busy schedule. It has a "homey" feeling in the mix of a busy city.

The apartment is in the perfect area for shopping and families. Also for pet lovers. All dogs of every "paw" of life is welcome. Friendly staff and great maintenance. There are beautiful walking trails and everyone is really friendly in the surrounding areas. Closely located to many grocery store and two big malls and shopping centers. Great place to live.

I very recently moved into my apartment at River Ridge in Indianapolis, IN. It is an upgrade from my old apartment, so I've been very pleased with everything so far! There have been a few issues that my roommate and I have discovered during the move-in and unpacking process, but everything is being taken care of promptly and with a smile by the friendly staff. We were happy for the most part with the cleaning they did, but there was definitely room for improvement. The cabinets and drawers were not wiped out and there was dirt and debris left in closets that we had to take care of ourselves. The workout facility is small, but useful! I just wish the TVs were working! The outdoor pool is beautiful - I'm just glad I get to use it for at least a few weeks before summer comes to an end! It is in a very safe area, and there are a few good restaurants close by, but to get to a grocery store or mall, you have to drive at least 15 minutes and sometimes fight bad traffic. I gave them four stars because of the move-in issues, but other than that, so far, so good!

The apartments are a good size with a lot of extremities. I will be here for a couple years. The gym could be improved, one of the machines has been broken for a while.

I love my apartment. It is not even one of the beautifully updated ones but I don't even care. I have made so many memories in out little 2 bedroom oasis that I wouldn't change it for the world. Here has been tears, dancing, singing, praying, and friendships made in that apartment. The dog has even done some redecorating at times (don't tell the front office). I think the only thing that would make our place better would for it to be free.

New appliances and hardwood floors that make the units more modern. Safe facility, love that it's a gated community that has a great location. Friendly environment and staff. For example, the main office hosted a movie night, and dropped the invitation along with a bag of popcorn on everyone's door. The only pitfall I would mention is that over the weekends the trash and recycling area gets very full and starts to overflow, otherwise an overall awesome place to live!

My roommate and I have been here for a few months now, however we have had friends in our complex for years. Not only is the staff more than willing to help with any situation you may have, the grounds are clean, the service is timely and the community is extremely friendly! When we moved in our apartment had just been renovated and it makes a world of difference. One of the best parts of the apartment layouts are the windows throughout the living area as well as a huge balcony. We have a third floor unit with a vaulted ceiling and I have already said that it will be a while before I look for another place to call home.

This apartment complex is in a great area right next to Keystone at the Crossing and has close access to many restaurants, bars, and shops. The grounds are kept up really nicely and the apartments themselves are clean, spacious, and beautifully renovated. Staff is so nice and friendly. Also the pool is awesome, so thats a plus. Love this place!

River Ridge is all I could ask for in a home. It's in a save, gated community, maintenance is fast and very detailed in taking care of the smallest requests, and it's in a great location. Throw in a wood burning stove, great staff, and exceptional interior design and I would recommend this to anyone!

This is a great apartment, very spacious, and nice amenities. I have only had one issue with the bathroom but other than that it's been great! The staff is always friendly and definitely own up to their mistakes. Thanks RR!

I've lived here for 18 months and absolutely love the resort lifestyle atmosphere. The apartments are truly state of the art in both appliances and finishes. A great place to live and relax!

Great apartment size and quality for the price. Apartment amenities are kept very clean with an amazing pool to relax, and a good work out facility. The staff is all very nice, and deals with issues very quickly. Location is also great, 5-10 minute drive from everything you need.

River Ridge is a great place to live! The location is awesome. Really close to good restaurants and shops. Especially the liquor store which is within walking distance :)

I have lived here for over 5 years, and it's a great complex. Everyone is very nice, and the maintenance staff is really great. I've had two emergency situations occur after hours, and the maintenance people were extremely helpful. The pool is great in the summer, and there are various resident events and discounts year-round. The apartments themselves are nice and reasonably priced. River Ridge is a great place to live, and I definitely recommend it.

The location is perfect; easy access to restaurants, entertainment (read - bars), shopping, movie theaters and the interstate. The residents are friendly, diverse and respectful of the community and the property. But at the end of the day - the best thing about River Ridge is the staff and the commitment they have to the residents and the condition of the property. The grass is always cut, trees trimmed and grounds uncluttered with litter...enough so that they can hold outdoor movie nights - which is cool! Holly and her staff is why I have renewed my lease twice. Considerate, intelligent and driven to provide the best apartment alternative in the City of Indianapolis...and I believe they've succeeded.

This apartment complex has everything you could want or need! Gated community near 2 amazing malls, wonderful restaurants, entertainment, and bars within walking distance. The courtyards and landscaping are always maintained and offer a nice landscape addition to apartment living. With the grassy areas around the complex, there is plenty of room to walk my dog. The pool and workout facilities are perfect additions as well! With the friendly and prompt staff, monthly resident events, and updated apartments, I am extremely happy with River Ridge!

I love the newly renovated apartments and the location most about where I live. The appliances, style, and appearance of my apartment are new and up to date. It is definitely a great price for the quality of space. Additionally, the location is great! It is quiet and peaceful, but close to everything I would ever need!

Great location, close to Fashion Mall and all of the department/grocery stores. Plenty of awesome places to hang out and eat, yet far enough from traffic and noise. Adjacent to great trails around 2 lakes. Great maintenance, beautifully renovated apartments, wonderful management and leasing office. Also pet friendly! Need I say more!

My wife and I recently moved here from Los Angeles. The day after we got to Indianapolis, we toured eight different apartments in the Northern Indy/Carmel area. If you're not from this area, let me first give you a breakdown between the two areas we looked at. Carmel is a pretty nice area if you desire more seclusion. It's maybe about an extra 10-15 minutes from downtown, but if you're looking for more of a rural feel, Carmel would probably be more up your alley. The northeast side by Keystone Crossing has enough to give you the taste of the city, but also provides you with the piece and quiet that Carmel can provide as well. Obviously there might be some variance depending on the precise location of your apartment, but hopefully you get the point. Now, on to River Ridge. First and foremost, as a seasoned renter, I've heard all the lip service that the folks in the front office will give you just to secure your lease. Maybe I'm just salty because of my time in LA, but I was really surprised to see them fix everything they said they would, AND they did it exactly when they said they'd do it. Now I feel kind of bad for doubting them in the first place. I've never seen the point in praising the maintenance and the front office (I actually always assumed that it was the employees writing anonymous reviews on themselves), but again, I'd feel like a jerk if I I didn't give them a shoutout in my review. As for the apartment, the brand new black kitchen appliances and washer/dryer are a bonus. Our place is just gorgeous. The price point for this area is well within the standard. Neighbors are nice and aren't afraid to strike up a conversation. The gated entrance works properly. There's easy access to the lake/river. If you appreciate quality walkability, there are 7 restaurant/bars, 1 liquor store, hair salon, nail salon, and a few other places within 1/4 mile. We had a few minor issues when we first moved in. There was still ash in the fireplace and two screens were a little messed up, but like I mentioned earlier, their customer service ensured that the issues were taken care of almost immediately. This place is quality. If you're looking for a place on the north side, do yourself a favor and at least check it out for yourself. My wife is definitely happy with our decision to live here, so what else could a guy ask for, right?

River Ridge Apartments have by far exceeded my apartment living expectations and I couldn't be happier with my current residency here. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to all of their renters' needs. They provide a maintenance staff who are available at any given time during normal business hours and will always respond to your request within a timely manner. River Ridge also holds dinners, movie nights, pool parties, and fun events for everybody to get involved in the River Ridge community. The apartments are pet friendly, which I love, and everybody picks up after their animals outside with the pet bags that are supplied by the apartment complex. Everything is kept clean and maintained! The apartments are updated and beautiful inside. My apartment has a ton of natural lighting that comes in, which I really like about the interior. Overall, I've had an outstanding experience living here and will continue to live here as long as I'm residing in an apartment complex community.

These apartments are perfect for transitioning into the city. The people are wonderful and the complex provides a safe environment having a gated entry. The quality of the apartments are amazing, granite counters and stainless steel appliances give the luxury you look for with an affordable price. There is a big dog park in the courtyard and an awesome pool. maintenance fixes things in a very timely manner and are always courteous. I give this place a 5/5 every time.

The apartment complex is very clean, well kept, and is pet friendly. It has a nice pool and a decent gym. Also, the location is close to a lot places around Indy and only 25 minutes from downtown.

When I made the move to Indianapolis by myself I was worried about finding a safe apartment with friendly people. River Ridge made the transition effortless with the amazing staff, great facilities and amenities. I'm truly lucky to have found this apartment! Everything is so clean and modern, and if there is ever an issue the staff are always willing to help as soon as possible.

River Ridge is a great place to live! The apartments are very nice and the complex is well kept. The maintence staff responds very quickly. The only downside is a small workout facility, other than that no complaints here!

We have lived here for 1.5 months and our experience to date has been excellent. Our initial inspection found a number of items that needed to be repaired or replaced. Management made sure all of the items were taken care of in a timely manner. The maintenance of the building and surroundings has been excellent and done in a way that makes you proud of the complex. The only issue so far has been the occasional accumulation of garbage at the dumpster when it is full. In some cases it has taken over a day to get the problem resolved and garbage cleaned up. From a social standpoint the complex has sponsored a pool party and outdoor movie night to help people get to know each other which is an excellent idea. Overall our experience here has been very good and we will recommend it to others.

River Ridge apartment are really awesome, layout of the new apartment is really good and they are spacious as well. If you working in Keystone Area this is the ideal place to live. The only downside which i feel is the School District. If you are family with kids, this would not be an ideal place to live as the school district is not at par with the other neighborhoods such as Carmel or Fishers. Other than this, the place is really good and above all very safe.

Nice community nicely done apartments very quite place to stay

River Ridge is one of the nicest apartment complexes on the north side of Indy. It's in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The pool is nice and the front gate is a plus. The apartment i'm in was renovated recently so it has all new appliances and nice granite counter tops.

I'm new to the property, but so far, everything has been great. The apartment was cleaned properly before my move-in, and everything has been moving smoothly. The staff is super friendly, and I'm looking forward to my time here. Hoping that everything stays the way it is because so far, it's great!
