Property Ratings at River Road East
I absolutely love it here. The staff is fantastic. They have gone out of their way on more then one occasion to help me out. This is a safe and friendly place to live on the river. The view is unreal, makes you forget you live near the city. I can't imagine finding a better place to live.
Would not call back about looking at the apartment. The gentleman hung up on my on me saying he was in a meeting and would not accept a application from me just because I interrupted his meeting.
This is the worst place I have ever lived. Extremely loud and inconsiderate neighbors, my apartment is constantly loud because I can hear them yelling or bass shaking my apartment, there is no quiet spot in my apartment; staff does not care about this whatsoever. Hallways reek of weed and cigarettes all the time. Staff does not wear masks while working despite being in a pandemic. There is a rude notice about every week about how we cannot recycle properly, park properly, or how we all just suck as tenants. I am starting to look for a new place to live.
Do not live here! The management entered our apartment without proper notice and got upset when we called them out on it. They tried to charge us $50 for a lease violation that they themselves did, not us. They laugh at us when we call to request maintenance. The blame residents for everything including theft, property damage, etc. They charge for the amenities, for example, the pool costs $15/month if you want to use it. Don’t let the money savings fool you. Pay a little extra and live somewhere better.
1) Our garbage disposal broke early in the lease, due to old age. Management said to save money they don't replace them, they just take them out, so we did have a garbage disposal for most of the lease duration. 2) The building is falling apart. The roof caved in into the pool area. I called when we saw water pour through the ceiling, but they never answer their phones, so the roof eventually caved in and could have killed someone if they were swimming in the pool at that time. Management is led by people who are extremely rude and poor communicators. They rule with an Iron Fist, for no reason at all, and intimidate their residents. The long-term PM is a former cop, and although he means well, he rules this complex like his prison. When someone was blowing marijuana smoke through the vents and impacting our toddler, he didn't do anything about that, but will love to tow your car if your tabs are one month expired. Yes, it's cheap, but there is a negative halo around this place, and it's due to management.
I sent off email for inquiry on renting apt. No response in over a week. Stopped in on Saturday at 1:30 pm, no answer. Open 12-4. Called twice and left 2 separate messages. No response in over a week. I feel for any resident living there looking for maintenance. Office should at least follow up with ANY phone call that comes I to that office. Guess I will live somewhere else that cares for their renters a2nd wants people there.
My significant other and I went to go tour one of their units and not only was the woman rude, she didn’t introduce herself and didn’t explain anything the way any other person showing someone their property would do. She seemed very snobby and like this apartment was too good for us. She showed us an unfinished unit that was being worked on as we were looking at it, there wasn’t a fridge and the stove was messy. the paint or something wood like was scratched off of the walls it just wasn’t something I could see myself living in for a whole year. the tour was very brief and I just didn’t feel comfortable after I left. she gave me and my boyfriend a very bad attitude and that left a bad taste in both of our mouths. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Customer service was amazing!! Handled my problem with great service & personalized. Made me feel like I was a person instead of a paycheck. Will be recommending to friends.
management is horrible they don't care about the residents that pay the rent on time they're more concerned with druggies living there loudmouth people who are rude and hiring perverts. They wouldn't fix things when it would need to be fixed then when I moved out they claimed that I had to pay for all of the light bulbs in the apartment to be replaced even though all of the light bulbs worked in my apartment not to mention their light bulbs are like 6 for just one light bulb when I can go and buy a pack of 4 or more for about the same price. I had a lot of problems with kids and other residents and when I would report it to management they told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that I should call the police but then I would call the police and they would tell me that that's a matter to take up with my management it got so bad that at the point I was going to the corporate office and because they never did anything... out of the two years I lived there I probably called the police more times than I can even count or remember. People fight in the hallways del stand outside your door and talk on the phone other people will stand outside people's apartments and steal their Wi-Fi charge their phones all hours of the night no one has any respect for anyone not even the elderly people who live there. the building was broken into about three times all they ever did was put more security cameras in which didn't help then they made us feel like it was our fault as residents and told us we would be fined if they caught us holding the door for someone. And when we moved into our 2 bedroom apartment that was the second year we lived there for that whole year 365 days we were promised that we were going to be getting new locks and that was why they charged us money and this and that and then we moved out and no locks came so I had to pay $15 and moved out with no locks and no money back...
Excellent apartment on the scenic Mississippi River. Great Staff to make you feel right at home.
You get more for your buck. Maintenance and front office respond to your concern/need right away.
Management will watch video for hours to see who threw away a mattress because it cost them money but cannot take 5 minutes to clean up glass in the parking lot, which has been there for two weeks and they as fully aware of it. Many children live here and people need to park where the glass has shattered.
We moved in for somewhere cheap to live. It was great at first then when we would need anything from the manager it was pulling teeth to hey him to come up to our apartment. Not only that but during Halloween people leave rotten pumpkins in the hallways. It's an awful place to live the maintenance people don't know what they are doing and they manager is a rude loud mouth. If you are looking into this place. Dont. I would find somewhere nicer and somewhere where they don't shut water off every 6 months for maintenance.
